Great location, and easy walking distance to the beach. The Harvest is a great restaurant, and the staff is super friendly. This place is also very quiet at night! I will definitely be back in the future.

Love it here!! Fabulous service. Amazing food at Harvest. Incredible family friendly golf course. Beach access is awesome bonus. Lost pier cafe on the beach offers great food and includes free umbrellas and chairs for hotel guests! Cannot wait to visit again!!
Our best service we received during our whole stay was from Andy with poolside service. Excellent worker very attentive! The rooms were beautiful and clean. The restaurants get busy quickly so make sure to make a reservation! Great place.
The whole experience from the room, to the food and pool area was amazing! I felt like it was close to things but also a retreat. Love the attention to detail.
a nice romantic place, outdoor sitting area with gas fire places, surrounded by golf course and rolling hills as back drop. Food is fine and drinks are well coordinated. A good place for date old or young. expect so.e kids playing boccia and some families, couples corn in a hole.Nice touch. Elegant dining is available as well.
The location was beautiful, in the canyon where you can't hear the cars on PCH. The dinning room was also lovely it was very open with great views of the canyon. The service was great as well, everyone was very nice. The food was good but overpriced for what it was.
Complimentary valet parking, they took real good care of my 2006 Corolla. The golf course is beautiful and fun! Breakfast was good, got bloody mary and eggs and bacon, very tasty.
I visited The Ranch for a wedding. The venue was gorgeous. As soon as you turn off PCH you forget that the rest of the world even exists. The staff was very accommodating and everyone seemed to be happy to help us. My only problem is that there is literally no cell reception.
Great location a short walk from Aliso Beach. Nice rooms. Just had a great meal at the main restaurant. Great service from Sal and his crew. Free Uber to downtown Laguna Beach. Nice 9 hole golf course. Check it out.
Very nice, modern-nautical asthetic. Expensive, but the service reflects that. The only downfall is very limited cell-service, but there is substantial Wi-Fi service to suffice.
Amazing stay at The Ranch. The 2 bedroom cottage was more than we could have even imagined. Tastefully decorated, clean and very spacious. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and made our stay extremely memorable. What I love most are the views. Most people go to Laguna for the beach, but at The Ranch you get the beach close by and stunning mountain views. We will definitely be back!
Gorgeous canyon setting for a wedding or special event. Also, a great option for a staycation as a local. Close to the beach. Lots of options for kids in the summer. Live music on the patio on weekends. Lovely. I'm not a golfer but there is a small golf course. Everytime I've been to the Ranch I've seen a family of deer.
I went to The Ranch at Laguna Beach last night, and really liked it. I started with a drink that was Rum, Orangina, and cranberry... delicious. Of course, we had to try the fried plantains app, which was also great. The yogurt dip it was served with was yummy.
Stayed Labor Day weekend. Upon check on requested maid service and arrangements for payment. Had lunch on arrival. Food was good but TERRIBLE service. Asked Oscar our bus boy for sweetener and bit what an attitude! The bugs and bees were do annoying. Tried to make a reservation for golf for next day. Nope all full with locals so no space for guests. At $1100/nite. Next day housekeeping never showed. Called 3x. Finally at 7pm someone brought towels. Dinner--all restaurants "full"....1 hr plus wait. Despite many open tables. Went to manager who suggested a waitlist.. due to non guests with reservations. Pool---hope you like lying on the ground. Chairs taken by 8am. This place does not care about its guests! All the other hotels in the area closed for dining except hotel guests. Really? With golf full, pool full, nothing to do except wait for food or chairs. Ridiculous. I was so excited to stay here, and so terribly disappointed.
Excellent weekend getaway. Place is clean and feels a bit like a rustic mountain getaway yet it s yards from the beach in Laguna. 9 hole golf course is cute and good for playing golf with the wife. Lots of interesting quality goods sold in the pro shop. Food at the restaurant (in person and room service) is excellent. We will be back!
Very quiet and relaxing stay. The property and rooms were well maintained an manicured. The two-bedroom suite was very spacious and with lots of closet space and had a cool style. The food was great as we njoyed the outdoor happy hour and room service food and drinks. One of my best experiences with a hotel/resort.
This golf course is in a beautiful setting. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The valet parkers were the first to greet and welcome my friends. There was a bar to the left and a restaurant to the right. We enjoyed wine and appetizers. The selections, price and view were such a great experience. We will definitely come back again.
We left the Blue Lantern Inn overlooking the ocean, to revisit The Ranch. A far better experience in comparison to the Blue Lantern Inn in regards to customer service, amenities, and overall ambience! Can't wait to return!
Great resort for quite vacation near by the ocean. Very friendly staff. You have a lot of options on the site: the golf, spa, pool, restaurants. The gorgeous beach is 10 walking minutes away from the hotel.
Great place with excellent views. Went to play golf and get brunch at the restaurant there and it was great! The golf was much less expensive than other courses with these type of views/location. Just great.
An amazing property with superior service. It was delightful to see such a vibrant and service driven culture displayed by the employees. The property is well maintained and the amenities are superb. From the time you pull up to valet until check out, the employees are there to ensure your every want and need is taken care of in a timely manner. First time staying here and our family will be returning annually for years to come!
Absolutely loved our stay at the Ranch this past week. Five star service all around they really go above and beyond to meet all your needs. Laura and Lauren at the front desk were very accommodating they made our stay so enjoyable. The property is stunning and the grounds are immaculate. Couldnt have asked for a nicer room (pool side in the middle of a canyon). Charlie and Brandon were saviors with their golf cart rides to and from the beach. Thank you to everyone at the Ranch definitely the best place Ive ever stayed!!
Awesome little hidden hotel. We had a get-together here and the suite was huge (two floors, two or three rooms). Grounds were quiet and peaceful, pool was clean, I hardly saw anyone walking around, very chill relaxing place to spend time - the suite we got was pretty pricey but we were all impressed. The decor is dated but the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Would definitely go back. :)
I had a skinny Margarita at the bar and it was effective and just what I was hoping. For dinner, I had what I thought was going to be a basic chicken. But was I surprised; it was absolutely delicious, very tasty and savory! The service was excellent as well.
I love this hotel. Beautiful landscape, felt very secluded and romantic. The room was big and clean, fun rocking chairs on porch. Bed was super comfortable. Service was quick and staff was excellent. Dinner at Harvest was delicious! I cannot wait to go back.
Good food and the staff is very customer oriented. Like the atmosphere which is upscale but not stuffy. Feels like you are on vacation when you are there but very close to home.
Terribly overpriced place. Like. Comically overpriced. The rooms are small and full of spider webs. It looks like old military barracks. Smells funny too in the rooms. Feel like I was robbed. Tacky place. Nothing like a resort. Pool is full of kids running and screaming. Not relaxing at all.
My mother and I came to The Ranch for a girls weekend and could not have been more disappointed. Upon check-in, we were greeted and told that we had to enable Wi-Fi calling at which time the receptionist looked to my mom, then to me, and said I would probably know how to do it, insinuating my mother was tech-incapable. Since our room was not yet ready, the receptionist stated the number they had on file to call when it was ready. I gave her a different number, informing her the number on file was our house phone. Still, my father informed us that they called our house to tell us our room was ready. We went to the Harvest restaurant following check-in and had to send our well-done request back when it was served cut in half and very pink. We visited the restaurant 2 more times and each time they forgot some aspect of our order and neglected to give us utensils. We got a treatment at their Sycamore Spa and the experience was uncomfortable. The masseuse repeatedly put my extremities on his stomach and the massage was incredibly poor. One evening we interacted with an employee who asked about our stay. When we mentioned our list of problems about the restaurant, he candidly responded that he actually had heard this many times before. Finally, during turndown service they took our towels and did not leave replacements. When we called for towels, it took over an hour for them to deliver the items. I strongly advise you look elsewhere for a relaxing stay.
A local JEWEL of a place, it recently got a complete makeover under new owner Mark Christie. Family friendly, fun, friendly quiet place with live music in the evenings that won't blow your eardrums out.
The room was very nice inside, people were friendly, and the restaurant food was great. The layout of the resort gives you no privacy in your room. We looked out right onto the pool and could hear all the noise from the rooms next to us. Although the resort is set in a valley, it doesn't feel like you're in nature.
