The place is relatively cheap for an inner city BnB. Good location and the staff are friendly however if you are looking for 5 star accommodation then this may not be the place for you. No beverages except powdered coffee but bring your own milk and sugar. No washing machine only dryers and the place is not very clean. The breakfast was palatable though but again , not 5 star

The Quadrant was great. Staff friendly. Entered the room and sat on the seatee for a short peiod of time and bitten by a dust mite. My partner retired to bed finding a bug crawling on the bed.
I rang reception from my phone to notify them of the incident after I had taken a snapshot of my bite and the crawly insect. The attendant came and checked carrying a bug spray. I requested to be move to another room, which he did and I must say it was comfortable with no bite or bugs during the night.

Lived here for over a year in our rented apartment and booked rooms several times. Would not recommend. The body corporate and maintenance staff is clueless, and hotel staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. Go do yourself a favor and rent/book a hotel somewhere else.

Would have given 4 starts but the reception staff (or just one in particular) and the pillows and bed let the place down.

good points are it is a modern hotel with great ambiance and reasonably clean , 2 bedroom apartment was a reasonable size nice furniture etc

bad points are the elevator broke down while people were in it, stuck for 30 mins :O , the pillows are bloody hard as rocks! my word never had such a terrible pillow most hotels i go to are so fluffy and comfy. the bed wasn't much better either. toilet door lock was broken which was an issue having 30 odd people in the room (hotel party) so lack of privacy in that department...
most stand out bad point was the foreign receptionist needed to relax and smile more. seemed a bit too much of a serious suzy and Nazi like and not friendly, of all staff the receptionist is the face of the hotel, usually the first face the guest sees so it is important they are approachable and friendly.

not the worst place to stay but wouldn't go boasting about it to friends either..

Slime on the balcony, shower door didn t close, tv was constantly static. Nice room and set up but was just run down and wouldn t stay again. We told them about the shower door and how you had to hold it closed and shower and was told someone would have a look but nothing was ever done. Better going somewhere else

The room was very small, overpriced, had no cooking utensils but had hotplates, the washing machine was difficult to use and the hotel turned off the water for a whole day while we stayed. Staff were apologetic but didn't return calls. I suggest people look elsewhere for accommodation in Auckland.

Great view and really central, the room is literally a box however it is great for a place to just lay your head for the night of that's all you need. We stayed for two nights and the room wasnt serviced, I had to ask twice for clean towels and rubbish to be emptied etc. Also big thing to note is that parking at the hotel is $35 per night!! Ridiculous!

Our key in door didn't work the whole weekend! Room service was a joke with an excuse everytime we rang, worst of all the staff were so thick they couldn't answer questions or do anything out of the ordinary. Never again.

A little dated and bathroom very small. Unfortunately my husband accidentally knocked a glass shelf that fell to the floor and shattered as he went to grab a towel. It wasn't even anchored to the wall so it was an accident waiting to happen. We were asked to pay $50 to cover the cost but after I queried it they brought it down to $30. I am still shaking my head at the fact that it wasn't even secured to the wall and in such a small space it will get knocked! We won't be staying there again!

Didnt enjoy our stay. Lady who served us was rude and unhelpful. We waited with a distressed toddler for nearly an hour waiting while she sorted out the $250.00 bond we had too pay. (More then what we paid for the room itself) Finally we got to our room. The room was dirty dusty and small! Smoke buts outside, dust all over the place. Like it hadn't been serviced for a long time! I was NOT staying in that disgusting room with my child. My partner went and paid for us too stay in a One bedroom suite. I complained about the previous room. The guys response was "your partner didnt complain" this was 10 minutes after he went to get us another room. He didn't complain straight away as I was already stressed! We had too go down AGAIN too see where our bags were. His reply your partner has taken them. They were on the floor in the corner untouched! Breakfast Was cold. Worst service ever! We will not recommend and will not be returning! Horrible experience! We contemplated leaving and going somewhere else. But we couldn't get a refund!

We spent three nights in a two bedroom apartment on floor 16.
Pros: Very close to CBD and easy to get to anywhere we needed to be.
In room washing machine/dryer was very helpful.
Average sized bedrooms
Friendly staff
Staff were quick to shut down a very loud party upstairs once we called reception and informed them.

Cons:
Cot hire was $25 a night - an absolute rip off that we had to spend $75 for three nights.
Rooms were much older looking then appears in the photos online. They are in need of a major freshen up.
Bathroom is absolutely tiny.
Buffet breakfast was pretty minimal, especially compared to others in Auckland which have cost the same per person.
Overnight valet car parking at $35 from 4pm- 9am the following morning is crazy considering it has been free everywhere else we have stayed.

Overall it was overpriced and we were underwhelmed.

Very small room.. but you get what you pay for - I guess.
Quite sparse; 1 sauce pan, 2 x crockery. Nothing really to clean with - except the dishwasher.
TV options quite limited, and stopped altogether halfway through the night.
Very noisey/smokey neighbours outside and down the hall. Seems there are no noise limits or smoke policy.

WiFi was very slow at times; and intermittent.

Otherwise very comfy and clean. Close enough to most things downtown.

Will probably go again.

What kind of 4-star hotel cannot fix their internet ? It's been down for 2 days now with no hurry to rectify it. They don't seem to care about the disruption that its causing to its guests and not into being hospitable. Terrible management practices. I would advise to not stay here.

Room was incredibly dusty, could see it all over the walls and it smelt very musty. Bed was uncomfortable. For the amount I paid I would expect a much higher standard of room. Was disappointing and I would not reccomend staying here if you have other options. Basic and underwhelming.

Very disorganized when we went. We arrived early and asked for our bags to be kept behind the desk. When we returned, it took 15 minutes of waiting and askimg twice to have the staff find the key to our room. Beds also left much to be desired. Not comfortable.

We enjoyed staying at The Quadrant Apartment. Booked a 2 bedroom unit through Air BnB for 2 nights. 800m walk to Sky City. Nice modern groundfloor. Several minute walk to Spark Arena. Reception parking is very small and at first confusing which driveway to enter.
Main issue was parking. There was an underground carpark between Pullman and Quadrant but expensive. Street parking is free 6pm to 8am only so needed to keep moving car and park far.
Otherwise enjoyed the stay.

Great location, great staff and nice decor but the whole room smells when other rooms use showers or flush toilets because there is a drain in the bathroom floor that maybe needs to be cleaned or something. I stayed in other places with the drain in the bathroom floor and they didn't stink.

This place is a dump. For what this had to offer the cost was WAY too much. No amenities worth noting. This place is actually apartments so there arent many services to be offered. How this place got rated a 4 star is beyond us. Giving this place two stars is being generous. The bathroom was small, the shower leaked water because the door seal was in disrepair. The makeshift closet doors were falling off. The "hotel staff" are a little standoffish and not the most accommodating. And the breakfast is not worth the time and trouble. Plenty of other places to eat and drink nearby. If you have other options for sleeping and dining, use them.

Not really impressed, with both reception staff, didn't go out of there way & rooms, clean but very basic, bed comfortable, carpet buckled up & falls risk, lighting poor, would give it 1 star, not value for money.
