Choose another volunteer organization. They are a sleepy slow volunteer "coordinator".

Everyone here is very very friendly professional they the time to answer the questions you have and they have lots of opportunities to volunteer and they are helpful and so many other ways. Also they have complete privacy with a person and their questions

United Way of Dane is resource center for all the human services & help from churches & has service staff that is able to find any help or services that people may need. Their staff answers the 211
(from land line phones) or 608-246-HELP=4357 (from cellphones). This help center is available 24 hours day. The staff is friendly, if you suddenly need food or run out of gas money to get to work, this team will zip through any known resource in this area to try to find an agency or church or community agency to find you assistance. Funding is partially city county grants but much funding is from private donors. Many workplaces have annual edge drives, it's all about community helping neighbors.
