Wonderful movies, wonderful people, wonderful theaters!

Absolutely fantastic venue for seeing a movie and a great cause to support. I always recommend this place for a special night out for families or couples.

Love this place. A little more expensive then other theaters in the area but totally worth it: clean, great staff, good cause and lunch chairs with stars in the ceiling!!! Come on son...

I ve been a customer since the theater opened, and today my friends and I made plans to see a movie. I bought a ticket for one showing online, and when my friends went to buy theirs, they found that all the tickets for that showing were sold out. When I called the box office to ask that they change my ticket to the next showing of the movie, 15 minutes later, I was flatly told that there were no refunds or exchanges. I don t think it s unreasonable to ask that the theater accommodate a situation like mine, but nevertheless, I was told that I have to eat the first ticket and buy a new one. This is a poor policy that reflects badly on the theater and management.

Everyone is very nice there. The most important thing is they support those with special need.

The facilities are all top notch, everything well thought out and I love that it is designed so that it encourages multifunctional use of the space.

That is all secondary to how much I love the idea and ideology of this place though! It is an absolute inspiration and I hope it will set a trend of a new and better way of treating each other. Having a cousin with learning difficulties and with the need for an electric wheelchair, it would have been her dream to be given the opportunity to work at a cinema like the Prospecor theatre.

I was absolutely blown away by the amazing service I received when I visited, and don't think I've ever felt quite as welcome visiting a cinema before.

This is a special place run by wonderful people. I bring my son who is autistic here because they have sensory showings here for kids who can be overwhelmed by loud sounds and the lights aren't dimmed too low. They're mission for providing employment for people with special needs is a noble cause. Spend your money here. It's a good cause and you'll enjoy the movie going experience here as well.

Amazing theater!!! This is a uniquely beautiful theater staffed by special employees who truly appreciate their jobs. The workers go above and beyond to make sure their customers have the best possible viewing experience. Incredible and memorable - I cannot wait to return for my next movie at Prospector.

Nice theatre, nice staff. Minor issue=stale popcorn....no big deal. Enjoyable 1st visit.

beautiful, well designed theatre with first run movies and special screenings of classic and cult films. the staff are attentive and welcoming, a welcome change from more commercial theatres. for the adults, they offer beer, wine, coffee, and tea in addition to their regular movie theatre snacks. they have theatre rooms of varying size and offer lowered volume screenings for individuals with sensory concerns.

Such a wonderful place to see a movie. The building itself is really a great space, but the real reason for its existence is to employ people with disabilities of all kinds and give them the opportunity to have a job doing many different things related to the running of a movie theater, including baking fresh goods that are sold on premises, popping fresh popcorn all day, and of course selling tickets, ushering and cleaning up after each show.
The shows are priced fairly along side other theaters in the area, or even a little lower, to see first run movies with fresh snacks, coffee, beer, wine in a new theater with very comfy seats spaced nicely apart so everyone can see the screen.
This was our first visit and definitely not our last. We will be happy to drive from Ardsley to see movies so we can support this unique, ground breaking theater.

I love the fact that the Prospect Theater hire's people with disabilities and give them jobs.

Easily the greatest theater ever. If you are lucky, the movie you are watching is getting played in Theater 3, where they switch out beanbags or recliners as the seats for the front two rows. Also, it employs many people with special needs, who would otherwise go jobless. They have an amazing cafe, and the Star Bar, and for both you can bring your food into the movie. There are no downsides to this theater.

Such a glam theater. Go check them out! They give back and give employment to artistic adults. They treat you like VIP.

It's the only we place we go to see movies. This place is everything that's good with our country. Others helping others, giving less fortunate an opportunity. And the place is just awesome.

Loved it! Beautiful place, very clean, staff I excellent . We saw frozen2 had my 2yr old and 6yr old. The theater we were in had bean bag chairs what a plus with young kids. We are definitely going back. And the signature popcorn is awesome

This place was excelent. I wish I lived near by this would be my go to date night spot. This is one of the nicest movie theaters I have been to and there mission is wonderful.

Heard a lot of good things about this new theater and finally I took my wife out for a date last night to see Brad Pitt's Allied.

The theater is well done. Spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The staff are friendly and helpful. And you can't beat half price senior day for all shows all day.

I think it is a very admirable mission of the owner who spent a fortune for the community and to benefit the young people with handicap.

Parking during the day could be a problem. But for the evening show, the library is close and there was plenty of spaces.

I recommend everyone seeing a movie at this theatre if they can. The staff is friendly and courteous. The theatre has this nice piece hanging from the ceiling. I arrived 20 minutes prior to the movie start time and the previews prior to the movie are fantastic. The theatre puts together their own advertisements with the staff. The seating and lighting also outshines my local theatre in scranton. The theatre seats here are so comfortable. Every theatre should take notes from the prospector.

Once you go to a movie here, it's hard to go anywhere else. A movie theater with a mission that everyone can agree on! Also, beer!
