Beautiful Hotel. Restaurant was delicious. Rooms were very nice. I only have one complaint and it really isn't a big issue but turn down was very sloppy. They left a beautiful rose on the pillow but didn't bother remaking the bad so it looked sloppy. However service throughout the property was wonderful.

Stayed here as soon as the hotel re-opened after phase 1 of COVID-19. Very nice room in one of the separate buildings (not the main hotel building). Room was quiet, and the bed were very comfortable. The room had a balcony, which was nice for town watching. The food was delivered to the room for all meals, as the restaurant was not open for dining. Great food service. Hotel employees all wore medical masks. I would highly recommend this for a nice, quiet, relaxing get away.

Went to Price of Wales for afternoon tea with the family. The staffs are super friendly and courteous. We had a great time. Love the scones, inside was just right and the sweetness just comes right out when mixed with cream. Father in law really like the Queen of the hill tea and even bought 2 to bring back home.

Lovely quiet rooms, even though we saw many other guests, the room was supremely quiet. Room service was excellent, turn down service was perfect. Pool area was nice, but could have benefited from a changing area.

Drove from Brampton to enjoy a treat of afternoon Tea. I telephoned the evening before to make reservations; left my name and number with the promise that I would receive a follow up call. None received. I had to call a third time before speaking with a person.
Upon arrival we were surprised to see we were given a couch for 4 with a coffee table (low tea) and a high table for 2 abutting the coffee table. We asked for another place, and were offered another low table. We were not given any apologies, and what was said was said with attitude.
If a large group is 6, and 6 can only be accommodated at a low table, this information should be passed on at the time of booking. Not impressed.

My husband and I have never been on a vacation, mini vacation or ever had a honeymoon and we both decided staying at the Prince of Wales (as it was a dream place for us) would be the perfect option. Every single step of our experience was above and beyond perfect, from the initial calling to book our reservation up until the time we walked out after check out. Once we arrived to our room I couldn't help but cry happy tears, working 7 days a week, and my husband working 6 days (for the last 6 years) had left us feeling overwhelmed and drained. Not only was the staff beyond amazing but the room itself, and the accommodations that came with the room was perfect. I have never cried happy tears over anything before, so this was a first for me. I have never been so impressed with everything and the customer service ever. I will highly recommend Prince of Wales to anyone who is thinking of spending a magical royalty treated evening away, or anyone who will listen to me gush over it all. Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for making our only time away the most magical time of our lives. I cannot wait for our next visit... hopefully it's sooner than 6 years! Thank you to everyone who works there, you truly all are amazing at what you do and have left the most positive lasting image in my mind

We have mixed emotions over our stay here. The positive aspects of the hotel would be the excellent staff, historical building and the comfortable bed. In the negative column would be the hidden fees in the already exorbitant price, the dirty carpets and the small, outdated rooms. The city itself is beautiful and charming.

The hotel is right in the heart of a small town for a quick stroll. Every staff in the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were as expected for a 4 star hotel. Drawing room and Noble restaurant is definitely recommended.

Got married there in September. The rooms were pretty but the fact is we had issues w some bookings. Only single king rooms were blocked for the wedding and we requested double bed rooms. My sisters reservation was also messed up. This was stressful.
As far as the ceremony, thk God it didnt rain and we got the rose garden as requested. The back up room was booked to someone else and our options were not nice at all. This was also stressful.
Our food and drinks were spectacular and the bartender and servers were fantastic.
We reserved brunch on sunday for 18 pple which was yummy but we were all upset that we didn't sit together at one table. Half of us were on one side of the wall and couldn't see the others. Whats the point of a reservation?
The girls in charge of helping on the day of the wedding should also pay attention to the reception room and tables. 2 out of 8 tables were almost empty during our introduction and first dance. Someone shouldve made sure everyone was inside. I cried when i noticed my family was missing..... not good.
No i wouldnt have my wedding there again, but it is beautiful and the food was great. Not all of the service was bad either. I'm being very fair with 4 stars

Went for afternoon tea. It was a great experience! The drawing room was gorgeous and the setting was perfect. Selection of tea was good as well and the food was absolutely fantastic. The scones came out nice and hot. Everything was fresh and we'll presented. Staff was very friendly. Overall a great experience, definitely one to try out at least once while passing through the area.

very curious staff. my wife received flowers daily which made the romantic setting even more so. The antique building, antique furniture made it feel like a royal palace even with the modern conveniences of today. The resutraunt is pricey but food was delicious. honestly, it was a pricey getaway but a great experience.

Just what you would imagine for this historic property -- beautiful interior takes you back in time (in a good way), impeccable service at front desk, housekeeping and restaurant staff. Rooms are beautifully appointed and ours had a great balcony to relax on as well. On-site spa and pool too.

I enjoyed my stay here. It s a beautiful place, and perfectly located in terms of experiencing Main Street shopping and eating. The restaurant is awesome, with an especially amazing breakfast. On my first night an employee came to offer complementary turn-down service, which was a nice touch. She also gave me a rose which was odd, but sweet. The room was beautiful, and the bed comfortable. The shower was awesome. My only negative is that on check in we had to schlep our mountain of luggage up a bunch of stairs, down a bunch of stairs and around an almost labyrinthine collections of hallways. We could ve walked outside and straight down the road into our building without any fuss, but the check-in agent (who couldn t have missed our massive collection of luggage) didn t alert us to this, but sent us into the obstacle course/maze of hallways instead. We felt a liitttttle salty about that.

The service was absolutely excellent! We went there on our honeymoon and every person we encountered went above and beyond, and even congratulated us on our marriage. From sparkling wine waiting for us in our room, to our waiter changing out a fork that we didn t even notice was touched, they are not only Covid safe, they just have an amazing attention to detail. Would go back on a heartbeat, regardless of the times. Thank you for an unforgettable stay to everyone at the Prince of Wales.

Had candle light tea with my wife, we stayed at the hotel about a month ago and had an amazing time so we thought we would go back for a date night and try out the tea time. We booked a reservation for 8 pm and when we got there it was packed and there was a good buzz. They sat us in the back room, not the drawing room, and the atmosphere was not what we expected. There was no candle, and no music, and felt like the back room. We could also see an empty conference room which didn't feel too vintage. While the tea and treats were fantastic, the service wasn't the best because we were in the back room and clearly out of both the servers sight lines and just the overall buzz. We ended up waiting for the bill for 30 mins...I had to ask 2 staff members before we got the takeaway container and bill. If it were up to me, I would not book more than the drawing room can hold - I would have been happy booking another day or weekend to get the proper experience. While it was a neat experience the combo of the ambiance and slow service made us both dissapointed.

As a person that lives in Niagara and travels the world, I can tell you that high tea in The Drawing Room is a lovely experience. The hotel is one of the most historic places in our country. ( Formerly Upper Canada) It is uniquely Canadian, wheither it is a stop here for a nights stay, tea in the Drawing Room or a beer and a scotch at the Churchill Lounge you will not be disappointed.
