Loved the golf course! Great condition and challenging course.
Had a really great time last week playing with a member. My second time playing, and although it was hot and we were sweating, I had a blast on this course. The course is not super easy unlike some private courses. You get a ton of elevation lies and uphill battles to the green. The elevator on 17 is really unique! We had lunch in the clubhouse, which swerved a chicken wrap that was better than I expected. The drinks are also amazing, and they don t skimp on the alcohol! Hopefully I get to play here again next year!
Beautiful place. Have to be a member to be there, unless a wedding or private luncheon.
Unbelievable place! Thanks to Dr. John for a great lunch! He is a great host!
Was there for a meeting and the premises and the food were exceptional
Definitely for the upscale fox chapel crowd. You almost taste the class and enlightenment in the air. Nice vintage style decor and serving style. Was there for an event which was very nice but I would not join this establishment as it sits, to "old money" for my taste.
Everything well organized. Staff is very professional and courteous. Venue is well kept.
Beautiful facility. Nice place for an event. So much fun at the Royal Ball!
Surprised that the pool at the country club did not have more interesting water features for kids, such as slides and sprayers. Nice that the shallow pool for younger children had a dedicated life gaurd on duty and was fenced off from the deeper pool, but this also made it difficult to observe and engage both younger and older kids simultaneously. Staff was friendly with familiar members, but disengaged from new guests. Surprised by a lack of attentive and engaging service. Decidedly disinterested in membership.
The golf course is ridiculously good (as a member of Pinehurst Country Club, I know), the staff is excellent and the overall experience is unbelievable. I was a guest at this years member guest and the experience was second to none. If you are fortunate enough for a member to invite you to play there, say yes and thank you.
Good food. First.class service. Beautiful facility.
Beautiful scenery, great food and wonderful service!
My great grandfather emigrated from Ukraine on a one way ticket in 1904, lured by the rumor that in America you could earn a dollar a day, a fabulous fortune at the time. I think about him every time I come here. To earn his dollar a day, he had to get on his belly while another man held his foot as he mined "out-croppings" of coal, coal that would stick out of a mountain side. He, like many of his time, endured countless tragedies in his life, but soldiered on. He would not be able to comprehend that such a place like PFC existed. "A place only fit for the Czar!" I can hear him say. I am fortunate he chose to come to the US and am happy that such places exist for his subsequent generations to enjoy!
Are you men and women out there and a few teenagers if you like to golf try it it's a quiet place if you get there early enough drop the day you got to put up with dickhaed slow people
Best private family club in the city with a great staff and golf course
I had my wedding here, and from start to finish, the Field Club did a fantastic job. Chelsea P in particular was so helpful, and the staff was great. Beautiful views, great food, and kind people who treated members and non members the same. If I ever live in Pittsburgh, this club would be top of my list to try and join.
The atmosphere was beautiful and spotless, very well maintained, and the food was perfect!! The main courses and tasty bakery treats were so delicious I wish I could eat there every night! Kudos to the chef and Baker!
First class facilities and establishment. The golf course is immaculate and a joy to play (though very challenging..). The patio offers some of the best views in Pittsburgh.
Amazing venu with amazing views. Attended a family function here and I was blown away.
An amazing place. Clean and staff are extremely nice .
Stunning private club. Overlooking the city on top of a bluff. We attended a wedding. The staff was amazing, food was average.
Not open to the public...but if looking for a country club it's very nice. I use the skeet/ trap fields. They serve lunch every sat & sun & have guns to borrow. They also have a trap pro available if you need help.
Possibly the nicest round of golf I have ever played. Not a blade of grass out of place and the bunkers were feathery soft. Dinner afterwards was amazing as well with a tbone the size of my face.
Great place,Great course . Was invited as a guest of a member every one at the club treated me great played some decent golf had a great time with friends. Hope to go back and play again someday.
Family, fun and fitness all wrapped up into one. Grateful of times spent at PFC, memories made and friendships made with staff and other members alike.
