I love the improvements to the walking paths and the extensive remodel of the habitats. The zoo is helping some animals make a strong comeback and helping others to rehab. Great place for families and just to hang out!

I have been coming to the Phx zoo, since the 80s. I am always amazed by their ability to change and update things. We did Cruise the Zoo and it was perfect for a socially distanced time. We went first thing in the morning and many animals were out having breakfast, perfect for viewing from the car. I continue to be a huge fan of the Phx Zoo. Always worth a visit.

What can I say: I love visiting zoos, and Phoenix zoo is really one of the best. I have had a subscription for 2 years and enjoy the light displays and other membership perks. The layout is good for healthy walks and you get the perks of seeing animals in nearly natural surroundings. The train is a great way of getting round and seeing where you would like to go on foot. The cinemas are great for resting legs. Members get to to into the zoo an hour earlier that the regular public--great for seeing animals fed, or walking around before the day heats up and more people arrive.

This is a pretty big zoo. The animals appear to be treated well and are quite active. The only downside is the cost and the way the "extra" areas are handled. By that I mean actually getting tickets for the camel ride or 4d theater is a bit hoakie especially if you pay for the inclusive tickets.

This is a family tradition to visit the zoo lights every season. The lights here are absolutely mesmerizing. This is a great place for date night or bring a group of people. They have vendors who sell good food, glow sticks and chocolate!

My wife and I like visiting a few times a year. We've both been to literally dozens of zoos and this is truly one of our favorites. Big enclosures, well laid out. Great selection of animals and a great staff who seem to genuinely care for the animals' well being.

The Phoenix Zoo is a great place to take the kids or anyone that loves to look at animals. My daughter's favorites are the giraffes and mine are the alligators and stingrays. This is the first time we tried to pet the stingrays. My daughter that is a tall 2 1/2 year old had a hard time reaching them, even though they do come up to the top from time to time. She still enjoyed watching them swim by. You do a lot of walking up and down hills. It is kept clean and there are plenty of places to get some popcorn, a drink or even photos in a photo booth. Bring plenty of water, especially in the summer. They have 2 splash pads for the kids. Memberships are worth it.

Fun place for the whole family, definitely recommend pass. The annual pass not over covers the admissions, but comes with great perks. Zoo is very clean, and lots of animals to look at.
Definitely recommend!

It's truly a great zoo! The only downfall it's so good, so many people come and it's crazy lol.
Staff is always attentive and layout is peaceful and serene. I also wish the animals were a little more visible at times. But we also want them to have a comfortable habitat so that's just me wanting to see them.
