The Peninsula Manila Hotels Review

Such a wonderful, wonderful place with excellent, courteous, friendly and accommodating staff. At the entrance to the hotel, Mr. Veridiano was very, very courteous in helping me through the process of registering as mandated by the restrictions of the Pandemic. Mr. Santillan, beyond the entrance door, was equally courteous. James, the staff at the Boutique where I bought cakes for gifts to my friends, was very accommodating and simply wonderful. I'm so glad that The Peninsula Manila, like it had been the first time I went there so many years ago, is still the BEST HOTEL I've ever been to in my country.

In 50 years of my existence, only twice that i visited this hotel. And it was for free because i was invited for a gathering. The food is great. Worthy of its stature as a 5star hotel. Good thing it was free because the price, to my knowledge, is way up north.....

Luxurious hotel, very accommodating staff, very comfy and big room, good food, lush amenities, safe and secure area, and culturally inspired place.

Lobby is huge, and elegant, giving you a warm welcome and air of Filipino hospitality.

Room is large enough to walk around giving you a homey, free feeling. There are fresh Filipino fruits for a welcome treat. Bed and linen are comfy and clean. The bureau is big and complete for your work needs. Toilet, tub and bath are very nice, although a bidet should be there.

Breakfast buffet is very good, the staff are very attentive and friendly. Even the supervisors are very hands on to your needs

Staycation before ECQ. The hotel strictly followed health and safety protocols. Al fresco dining was only allowed during our stay. Only few guests considering the pandemic. Rules are always changing so better call the hotel for updates. Kudos for still giving 5star service despite the pandemic.

Great stay at The Peninsula eventhough there were minor details that we were looking for like complimentary coffee in our room and microwave oven for food re-heating, we didn't have them. But all in all, thumbs up for the warm welcome, smiling and accommodating staff, sparkling clean and cozy room, and great bathroom architecture. We'd definitely welcome checking in again in this luxurious hotel.

Truely exceptional service. Very elegant hotel with a homey feeling. All the staff are very attentive, friendly and you will feel like they re really there to help you with anything. I cannot say how amazing their room service is.. we just went out of our room to meet a friend at the lobby and we came to a FIXED ROOM AGAIN! (we didn t even turn on the Make-Up Room button!)

The establishment is doing the best it can during the pandemic but service still leaves much to to be desired. Three calls to the front desk went unanswered as the hotel room did not have bath towels. For breakfast, I waited 20 minutes to be seated. Another twenty minutes for my breakfast order to be taken and then another 20 minutes for juice to arrive. So 1 hr wait for the first item to arrive at breakfast. It is tough to be critical of service when the world is still in a pandemic, but the hotel should seriously consider revising its offerings if it cannot accommodate the limited number of guests. After 1 hr and 20 minutes I had to go ask for a coffee. Why could it not have one person to provide juice and coffee as soon as you sit down? Why could breakfast not be by pre-reservation or pre-ordering only? Other establishments have this figured out. Surprising such a good hotel can't get this right. Disappointing...

The overall experience was fantastic. Few areas could be improved but they have exceeded our expectations in terms of customer experience so we are giving them a 5star rating.

My 11 y/o twins so enjoyed the stay cation. The pool was great and the food was good, as expected. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Kudos to them for making our stay great despite the current situation.
