The Pelican Restaurant Review

What a hidden gem .. the food was spectacular. We will be returning. I had the crab stuffed lobster. The wife had the zucchini crabcake!

I would not recommend this place! The back chef was very rude! A couple of days ago was my first time there as a Dasher and at first it seemed like a nice establishment; I was told I had to wait for the order which was not a problem. The short guy who seemed to be the chef just started being abrasive while yelling repeatedly telling me to wait. I really don't know what the issue was since I was patiently waiting 15/20 minutes. I wasn't that triggered and he became very rude to me, in front other people working there and the few customers telling me to leave the restaurant. I was still paid for my time but its definitely about principle. I will never go back there not even as a dasher

The perfect place to go when you have a seafood craving.

Slow service, food was sub-par, atmosphere was very non existent. The place is called The Pelican ...didn t see one pelican or resembling wall art in the place. In my opinion this restaurant needs a #gordanramsey make over ASAP or it s gonna die a slow death and drain the owners pockets along the way.

My husband and I had a fabulous meal last night. The stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious. I highly recommend their zucchini crab cake. It was about 3 inches high, little to no filler with a crispy outer layer of shredded zucchini. It was amazing. My husband ordered the salmon stuffed with crabmeat over butternut risotto. Huge portion with a lot of crabmeat broiled on top. We had creme brulee for dessert and it was the best I've ever had.

I made a reservation online and upon arrival we were denied entry by the owner with no apology whatsoever. He stated they were no longer accepting online reservations despite getting a confirmation email. He was very arrogant and dismissive. I would not recommend this restaurant with the new ownership.

My wife and I went today for our anniversary and we're dissatisfied with our experience here. We were not greeted in a timely fashion because the hostess was serving tables, the menus were dirty and we weren't offered drinks. These were just a few issues. I ordered surf and turf and was never asked how I wanted my steak cooked, or receive a steak knife. We had to ask for everything. It became annoying. My wife's scallops were burnt on one side. Not seared. All in all the food wasn't horrible but the service was. The owner really needs to check out how his or her business is being ran. This was a surprise to us.

Great food, and great service. Mediterranean Sea Bass was one of the specials and it was terrific, and fun to watch it be separated at the table.
