Beautiful space, insightful pastors, great community involvement!

I've only stopped here to view the architecture, which I can say is nothing short of beautiful!

Was sad to see Liberty Hangouts video on YouTube that was posted a few minutes ago. A associative pastor that is unwilling to civilly discuss with the opposition of allowing Planned Parenthood utilize the space during the woman s march. This is not a church of God. Tolerating them at the woman s march in Cleveland is one thing, inviting them into a supposed house of God against the opinion of the church s members is another thing. I hope this church s rating keeps plummeting and that associate pastor is out of his position. Jesus is disappointed that a space to worship Him and His great sacrifice is promoting ending the lives of the babies He created in His image.

My friend attends this church. I have been here multiple times. It is a church that embodies Jesus' teachings. It is sad to see a congregation that does so much good in the community attacked by the same group that claims Newtown was faked. "All who live godly in Christ shall suffer persecution."

Old Stone Church has been our church for several years and we have found its leadership and congregation to be so welcoming and focused on the greater good of the city and its people.

How can a church be pro-abortion...the pastor literally agreed with the interviewer in a youtube video, word to word of what she said, that he is okay armed in propaganda to kill babies...

This church has provided a space for downtown Cleveland residents and I am grateful to have such an institution near me. The church leaders are open and welcoming. They are looking to invite any and all persons who want to find the gospel into their church. It's a beautiful building filled with nice people. I'm glad they provided a venue for the attendees of the 2019 Women's March to discuss the issues all women face and to support them, just like Jesus would have. Peace and love is more of what we need. Thanks Old Stone Church!

This church is apostate. I will never support a church that supports the killing of babies, the literal most innocent among us. God created these humans, and this church advocates for the MURDER of them! Such a disgrace! And how dare you LIE in your responses to people in their ratings! We all saw the video. My family attend regularly and we love coming to a church that is so warm and welcoming. It doesn't hurt the the pastors there are also awesome people!

An integral part of Cleveland's Public Square, Old Stone Church is hosting an interesting sculpture on the stairs of their right front door at the Corner of Ontario and Rockwell.
The plaque by the sculpture reads:

Supporting planned parenthood event in that sanctuary and having a pastor openly say he supports abortion on film is a disgrace. It s a sad day for me as a Presbyterian. You re disgusting sir. When are you holding a klan rally???

Old Stone Church supports abortion. They have hosted Planned Parenthood. The pastor supports abortion. This is no longer a house of God but a residence of the devil.
All the people on here supporting what this church did are also supporting the death of unborn children. You can call it womens rights as much as you want but as long as you murder unborn girls then it seems pretty clear that is not true.

Worked with pastor Mark once, my first and last in impression is that he is a genuine man with a kind, and loving heart for Jesus Christ and people's hearts.

I have a year and a half going to Old Stone now. I live downtown so it is convenient. But now it really is my Home Church. Everyone that I have met and know are wonderful. There are so many levels of Christian's there. It has helped me grow in my faith. There recent closing is sad but proof that the Love that Old Stone has is from The Lord..

The candlelight Christmas Eve service is the best there is! So beautiful and such a gem of a church.

Attended a funeral recently at this church. Other than the circumstances the church was beautiful, staff was very respectful and accommodating.

I have been attending Old Stone off and on for, oh...10 years? I was first drawn to it because it was a beautiful Presbyterian church and I stayed because Pastor Mark is amazing! He has wonderful sermons that connect what's happening in the world with Cleveland-centric concerns (ahem, the Browns!). Old Stone is the kind of church you will be surrounded by people from all walks of life and every time I've gone I've felt welcomed and warm from acceptance and encouragement. Though I don't live near downtown anymore, I still make the drive occasionally and baptized my daughter there. I hope she is able to grow up loving Jesus and seeing how religion really can be for anyone/everyone like is represented at Old Stone

I m normally a practicing lifelong Catholic, but as a community activist and urban planner, I commend Old Stone Church for its care for the Cleveland community and their proactive approach to urban issues. Old Stone is certainly a community-building church.

One of the finest churches in the world. The Pastor Dr. Mark Guiliano is one of the finest preachers and lives the word of God. Rev. Mark Eldred is a great young associate pastor. I have enjoyed being a part of this spiritual family for several years now. They have lived the Gospel!

Great church! Great preacher! The current building was built in1855 but the church has been worshipping on this exact spot on Public Square since 1820!

I am not a member, but I love looking at this building. The architecture is truly amazing. There's a lot of history to it as well. They also have a live webcam showing Public Square, which is a delight to watch when I'm far away.

A must place to visit when in Cleveland. The church has loads of Cleveland history and still takes care of the people of Cleveland. The church has a beautiful interior with people who will explain its vast history.

I gave it a 1 star because I had to in order to comment, but this church deserves NO stars. False teachings and false teachers. A bunch of sheep in wolf s clothing. Not to mention, the person who answers the phone is rude! Jesus would be flipping this church if he was still in flesh on earth.

Old Stone Church has always and will always be welcoming to those who society has pushed aside. One of the best pastors and leadership I have ever experienced in my life. The church responds with grace and compassion and views ALL as worthy of God's love. I was a member there for a few years and left due to moving further away. Christ is alive there. Do not be fooled by false news that some have lead you to believe on certain subjects. Knowing the pastor, he is not easy to judge anyone or anyone's way of life, he is a good man, with the biggest heart. He will even sit down with you and talk to you, I'm sure, and discuss anything with you from hockey to the book of Revelation. I believe Christ looks at us humans the same way. Some of you are responding with hateful remarks without hearing both sides of the story. I don't believe we make the call in condemning anyone. Old Stone helps women and children who suffer with human trafficking, they help the poorest of the city and throughout the world, and so much more. I love my OS family they are good people as is the pastoral staff. A great place to worship.

How can a church that claims to hold to the teachings of Jesus Christ advocate for abortion?

Biblical values are not welcome here. They welcome pro abortion rallies within their walls.

Heart-breaking to see a supposed-to-be-follower of Christ admit that he sanctions the murder of innocent babies makes me angry that he is in a position to lead people away from God's teachings.

It began right there on Cleveland's Public Square in 1820 and is the oldest remaining original structure on Public Square.

Rev Mark Giuliano is a super minister. He was our minister at Rowntree in London On. for too short a time. I know he is filled with the Holy Spirit and The Old Stone church would be an amazing place to worship.

Old Stone First Presbyterian Church is a gorgeous historic church with caring pastors and welcoming congregation. I love being a deacon at Old Stone! You should join us Sunday at 10 am.

This historic church in the heart of Downtown Cleveland is beautiful! The music is breathtaking, the sermons are captivating and the people are so friendly and welcoming! Old Stone Church is a very special place!
