This a fun country course with great views of Lake Taylorville. The fairways and tee boxes were a little rough but the greens were nice. The only big drawback I noticed was that they seem to let 5-somes out on weekends. We played on a Saturday morning and there was a group of 5 we were waiting on for the entire back 9. We also noticed a group of 5 about 3 groups behind us.

Nice, challenging layout. Beautiful scenery. Nice people. Greens good, but fairways are full of weeds and not good at all. Hopefully we'll all get out and play this course so that they can afford to maintain the fairway grass!
Very nice course with a ton of character. Far more challenging than I thought it would be. A lot of dog legs and if you can't keep it straight off the tees, you're in trouble! We will definitely be back.

Greens got.burnt by accidental mismanagement but they're playable. Rough is deep, so keep all eyes on your ball. Fun course with good elevation changes and variable holes for challenging shot making.

Lakeshore is a beautiful golf course with an amazing management team! The course is always in perfect condition. They offer a variety of sandwiches and drinks to take on the course with you. Lakeshore is also the perfect setting for an outdoor or indoor wedding and reception! All of the staff members are very friendly and helpful! Lakeshore is a golf course that you must come play! I always have a great experience here!
The course continues to improve each year. Many improvements have been made the last few years, a bunker renovations program, new grass on the fairways and my favorite the additional tee boxes making the course easier for seniors and women. Go play the new Lakeshore a great value with a friendly staff. The same great course layout and views.
Played here on 9/11/2019. Can't say enough on how nice the staff was to our group of 12. Far exceed all expectation. Thanks for a great experience!!
Great course, great holes, and great play. First time on course and enjoyed it greatly. I would recommend this course to give you a great challenge.

Very nice layout with beautiful scenery(I can only imagine when the leaves start to turn colors) and a lot of elevation changes. The greens and tees are always in perfect shape with not a weed on them and if you want to play the back tees you better bring your "a" game... The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, this course is on a must play list if you've never been there..
Course is always in good condition considering the amount of play it gets. Very enjoyable.
Beautiful, challenging golf course in central Illinois. Lots of hills and dog legs, resulting in many blind shots. The course was challenging, but the layout allows for recovery when needed. The course was in good shape when we were there, allowing for a fun, tough round. It may be a bit of a hike to get to, but is worth the trip.
This place has everything you want or expect from a golf course and has a few interesting holes. Course was in good condition.
You can't beat this course for the money. The staff was helpful. Great value.
