Always great food, wonderful atmosphere, and attentive service! Definitely a favorite!

I had been to the Vancouver location but was told by a friend the Portland original headquarters was top notch. They were right! Food is delicious, decorations are incredibly ornate, service is wonderful, even the price isn't terrible! Not to mention the manicured parking lot in the midst of Portland. All around a wonderful experience and I will surely come back again
I also highly recommend getting the blackberry Italian soda! You get to keep the glass and it's delicious.

Two things The Old Spaghetti Factory will always provide: a beautiful building and consistent food. The Bancroft location has an exceptional view, especially from the bar. If you are dining without children, eat in the bar and skip the lines.

Go early there's no reservations but you'll never leave hungry

Normally SF would get 5 stars. This visit the service was below average. Had great seat, right on the water. Dinner was great. Once seated, took awhile for wait staff to visit table, appetizers arrived after long wait, quality was not that good. Wait staff did not check in on us for drink refills - I had to catch her as she breezed by. Very awkward. I probably won't return. My guests had not been before, they said they will not go back.

Office Christmas lunch again was a success! This is where we enjoy going to have our get together. Good food and great service with a beautiful view of the river.

The food may be uninspiring (iceberg lettuce for a salad?!?) but the view is lovely, the decor is fun, and the service is very friendly. Also, the waterfront development there is great.

Good food. Great location. Probably the coolest balloon creator we've ever met. Try the Italian cream sodas, and enjoy a dessert. Thanks for the good time.

I came here with my boyfriend on our anniversary, such a great experience and so romantic. I have been here many times when I was younger. Hasn t changed a bit probably one of my favorite places to eat. Plus you can t beat their spumoni ice cream!

This is a good place to eat Italian but not the best around. I still stop by several times a year, just for the atmosphere.

One of my favorites for good ol' spaghetti and meatballs 3 course meals included in almost every entree plus a drink! Can't beat that

The gluten free options are great, the pasta is delicious and fresh, and the service is very prompt!

Service is great, the view of Willamette river is spectacular and the food is authentic Italian.

Great place for a family meal. I liked the shrimp linguine and the kids liked their meals.

Very busy night, service wasn't great, several of the mizithra dishes were very dry and salty, probably would have sent them back if the server had come by

The service was unacceptable! Had to wait 20 minutes for a glass of water and a server to come to our table! Were there for 2 1/2 hours! Our reservation was for 4:00 and we were early. My white clam sauce is better than what I had there!!! Will not be back!

Atmosphere is great, people are friendly, and overall look of the restaurant is great! Our server could have been a little bit more attentive but was still ok. The food looked and tasted fantastic! I would definitely recommend to anyone!

We were obviously deep in conversation and asked the server for more time. She gave us a very few minutes and then rushed us ordering and brought food while I had documents and notepads on the table. Clearly a "turn and burn" service mentality. The food, however, is as good as always. The mizithra being my favorite!

I have been to several old spaghetti factory's and this is the most spectacular of all. Love the waterfront views. Great place to have a large crowd or a dinner for two. Food is always amazing. Can't go wrong with this place.

Came in for a late lunch (2:00). Host was very friendly and took us immediately to a table by the window. Lovely, sunny day in Portland with view of the Willamette River. Food was great, just wish our server was a bit more attentive. Didn't offer to refill ice tea for 3 of us until we were done with our meal.

Portland staple! Good food and such a cool atmosphere. They also have a really train car you can sit in to eat. I loved bringing my children and seeing them experience the same memories I had as a child. Thank you for not changing.

This location is gorgeous the building and architecture is amazing, not many like it actually can't think if anything to even compare it to, this is an awesome date spot to impress my boyfriend took me here on our first date 10 years ago and we've donde back numerous times over the years. The food is good the prices aren't bad, affordable full course meals, you can probably get out of there spending 60 for 2 people without chinsing on anything. Worth the trip.

Went here for the rehearsal dinner before my sister's wedding. Pasta was cooked Al dente but the pasta was like eating a salt lick! I didn't use table salt and didn't ask for extra parmesan or anything. It was so bad I actually went to the bathroom to vomit. The chicken was bland, albeit cooked perfectly. The wait staff understandably were busy, I think there were 30 of us? The area and decor were fantastic, the people were friendly, but I tried the food of some of my table mates and just couldn't eat it. Other dishes were bland or loaded with salt as well. The wedding was catered by this restaurant as well and one of the meals was just as bland. Seriously disappointed after hearing raving reviews. :(

It was good there was only one hostess to 20-25 people not a warm welcome. I got a text saying my table was ready and I still had to wait another 7 minutes before I got impatient and ask to be escorted to my table. Then there was another 9 minutes wait before my waiter even look in my direction. But the food was good

I was super excited about this and then I went. I was not has good as I had hoped. I think that portion size good. But the food itself almost seemed store bought. I was really disappointed with the bread. The place also had a lot of loud children.

Beautiful bar with a great view. Dinner for me is always the mizithra cheese.

Service was absolutely excellent, but they have dropped a menu item that was literally the reason we always chose to go there. The managers, hosts, servers and food quality were great, but it was disappointing that they stopped carrying the shrimp scampi- we won't likely return until we see that item back on the menu.

Huge restaurant with two levels. Rather dark Victorian era furniture and dim lighting. Window seats have good river views. The meals a very well prepared and priced. A fun place for visitors and locals alike.

It was AMAZING!! The place was very nice and the food was great!! The server was also amazing! I had my baby shower here and they where very accommodating!

A Portland institution, but I do not see what the hype is all about. I swear their food is just Stouffer's frozen pasta. It tastes exactly the same to me. And again it's yet another place that desperately needs to install acoustic absorbing tiles because once you get more than ten people in there it becomes a shout fest, and it's pretty much always packed. On a positive note, they are located in a pretty awesome spot right on the river with a big, glass walled nook that offers a beautiful view. On the other hand, both times I ate their they got my order wrong.

The food was just ok, no real flavor. The service is really, really slow and the restaurant wasn't packed.

We go here all the time. Everything is great and good. Get the creamy pesto dressing it's great.

Wonderful service and the BLT salad was scrumptious. A quiet spot for lunch meeting.

There was at least ten birthdays while we were there and the whole thing felt like a heartless corporate experience.

Great location with a nice view of the river to enjoy. I would probably recommend any red sauce over their white sauce, and be sure to get the broccoli!!! Not a super fancy place, but a solid stop for simple comfort food.

I remember when this first opened and thinking it was amazing. But that was little young asian me not knowing much about food. It's pretty clear that the food here is made in big batches. The menu doesn't change, which can be a good thing but it also makes the food be a little lackluster. If I was wanting good Italian this wouldn't be the choice for me but its a good, average, family safe environemtn to eat at.

Also, I don't know how they go through their hiring process but the serice is always good. Never had a bad experience there.

Poor lighting, poor service, poor food, I like the Vancouver Spaghetti Factory location. The Portland location is not very good.

Yummy as usual, but hand to wait for 20 minutes before we finally had to ask the front to let them know we were forgotten. Once they found that out, the service was excellent. We we placed by a large table and we overlooked.

More appropriate for children than for anyone with developed taste buds who's spending their own money on food. This place is perfect if you don't care about what you put in your mouth or want bland, generic pasta served with generic sauces. Basically, school cafeteria food.

The place is beautiful. The service is good. There food is very mediocre.

Yum food! Great view of the Willamette River and the building has a nice retro feel with video games upstairs.
