The Office Lounge Review

We had really good food here. They also serve sushi and have a raw bar. We had clams, sushi, roast beef sandwiches shrimp parm and corned beef sandwiches all were very good. Sandwiches run about 11 dollars each dinners around 20. The wait staff is also very nice and helpful.

It's a bar setting but their food is very good and they have a variety of drinks sometimes they have entertainment.

Fun place! Good for upbeat family dinner. Or hang at bar to watch the game.

It was four of us. The waitress we had was named Chelsea was very friendly, pleasant an excellent waitress, she kept checking on us to see if anything was needed. She promptly bought us anything anyone requested. Nice place to go. Food was good.

A nice place to have a cocktail or a meal in a nice setting. Prices seem to reflect the going prices and range from moderate to expensive for upscale meals.

Nice local place for American food and sushi. Good food and casual, family atmosphere as well as a bar area. This is a pretty large place.

The Office has been the go to eatery in Tom's River for decades. Always can count on a tasty, well prepared meal.
When my children were growing up and we had something to celebrate, we would head for The Office.Still feel that way.

This is one of those local gems and a great place to eat. Food is good and service is great however it has be degrating over the years. I do wish it was a little better when it comes to service. Lots of bar selections and the sushi bar is great and has a large selection

Food is average fare with the same menu and specials for at least ten years. Dining area is quiet but dark and the bar is a classic pick up joint - friend at the bar sure, but ta couples area although they have tall seating for two.

We only go on Tuesdays for special in prime rib only $19 and sushi (much better than regular menu) and stay away from stuff clams which have crab meat which is horrible.

Great prime rib and very good sushi bar. But it s dark and has a 70s dream look. Nothing changes and only a few good meals out of a large menu - sad really, put money back in your business and update your menu and maybe you ll see us on nights other than Tuesday prime rib night.

Excellent food great selections great service. The Filet Minon Sliders are Outstanding.

The restaurant recently had a new facelift outside but is filthy and old on the inside. The service was terrible, food was even worse and had to be sent back twice and overpriced. No apologies offered by management and i would NOT RECOMMEND going back unless you want to just go for a drink and appetizers, it seems to still be a good meeting place.

Prime Rib....that's all you need to know and get.

Good place to hang and go with your friends for drinks. I no longer recommended food. Usually have to run to the bathroom when I get home from eating mushy sushi and sometimes free buffet too

Horrible experience. The ribs were tougher than a rubber tire and they took 20 minutes to bring us rounds of shots, they brought our third and last round out half way through our dinner and really expected me to wash my ribs down with a green tea shot like nothing was wrong with that. On top of that mess, they charged us for 4 rounds, and when I called the waitress out on it her response was you guys really have to go home with him? To the rest of my friends at the table. I m appalled to say the least, the waitress Audra really acted like we were wrong for asking for the fourth round (which we never ordered or received) to be taken off the bill... not to mention we were one of maybe 5 tables in the restaurant and she told us the bartenders are slow. Common now... I ll never spend another dollar there

Good food, but very old feeling atmosphere. Seems like the menu has'nt changed in years except for daily specials. Still good food and consistent.

The food was ok, the service was good. The atmosphere was like something lost in time, this place needs a complete overhaul including the menu and look.

The worst dinner I had in a long long time. What type of burger is this? It ruined my night. Beside the burger in the picture I order baked potatoes. They were dry, tasteless and burnt. Never ever ordering from this restaurant again, I'd rather eat my cat's food.

I'm a vegetarian and had a veg burger which was good. Had on two occasions I was there within the last two years. I gave four stars but after factoring in atmosphere they were reduced to three. I was there also 20 years ago and the place is in need of a serious make-over. It's dated, dark and old. Nothing has changed.

Great food nice place for a beer or sit down with the family

I have eaten here four or five times and my meals were always good and the service was good also.

The food was good but the service wasn't. We were sat in a corner kind of. That would be fine even though there weren't alot of people but then right next to us they sat a loud family for a 72 birthday or something. They were so loud at times. I said something after I couldn't hear what my date was saying.

This was a nice restaurant and bar with very friendly staff. A selection of craft beers and cocktails. Lots of options on the menu. Priced average. Fish tacos were very good. And really enjoyed the fries

Outdoor seating, we had a good time, sushi was hmmm good, fans with a mist going outside was a nice touch. Staff was friendly and professional.

Kayla is an awesome bartender, service was great... And she put the heater on for me.

Hidden gem...the BEST sushi in town. All the food is amazing and the bar tenders and servers are so nice! Happy hour free wings are a must.

I have never had a bad meal and go often. The inside could use some paint and freshening up. The fake plants hanging under the sky light window need to go. They have dust on them. They are remodeling the outside, hope the inside is next.

Great place for beer and food, and I have not heard anyone complain about their pours either. Buon appetit!!!!

Curbside pick up is fast and staff is friendly. The outside dining is pretty decent space wise an servers are attentive

First time there and was impressed. Food was excellent and pricing is reasonable. They have an extensive menu.

Had one of the most awful experiences here today, ordered house garlic bread that I get here quite a bit and today it was like a loaf of bread that I sliced and slightly toasted some cheese on it tasted like plain bread no garlic not hot at all.... on top of that I am pregnant and asked if I could literally just have the TEMPURA vegtables off of one of the dishes nothing on it.... and got brought a bowl with smelly brown sauce spinach and rice.... when server told me my request was alright because she asked.... I didn't eat any of it and you could see as much but she didn't pay any attention to that and charged us the 12 dollars for it, obviously can't eat here before dinner time....

Great bar service, I withhold a star for the menu. A reasonable gluten free option or two would be great for appetizers.

If you are a kids the kids menu is the best so tell you child that the office
Lounge is the best place to eat.

First just ask yourself how this place can serve sushi as well as promote taco Thursday (which isn't a thing)? The sushi was bland with no flavor and the medium well burger was brought out basically rare. If you can't figure out how to properly cook a burger you shouldn't cook anything else. I would feel remiss if I didn't suggest eating anywhere else than here.

Great food and wonderful service by a sweet woman named Jackii. She went above and beyond for my family. I highly recommend eating here and make sure to ask to sit at a table Jackki is waiting. You will not be disappointed food is excellent and so is the service.

This place has declined over the years, it was once great. The waitresses seem bored. And the food selection is good but the quality is average. The bartender caters to the locals very well..but to the new faces they are distant.
