The Oberoi, Dubai Review

Awesome hospitality. Especially cared by the complete on ground staff coz they have a policy mentioned in all rooms that any tips left in room will be distributed to all equally however customers can mention a specific name for personal appreciation.
This makes the complete in ground staff to attend all customers equally without any biased approach where only specific staff are aligned customer wise and others simply ask that person to come and provide help.
Plus housekeeping won't be disturbing u to clean rooms if u r not opening with a low sound knock.
Food quality is amazing however you would have to go yourself to pick the delivery if you have ordered from outside.
Breakfast is super with all delicacies of the world and some which you may have not even heard about.
Beautiful , hygienic and bigger rooms with all latest technologies for max comfort.
Please be aware that TVa will have limited channels and you would not find channels of other countries.
Also, if you are using their WIFI, THEN you cannot make or receive video calls from any of the applications like whatsApp, messenger, duo, etc. It's blocked.

Best place to be, great hospitality and great service

Loved the stay. Was happy with the service especially the bathroom in a room. It was huge and spacious. No issues with the stay but the breakfast could be improved. Should have more variety and options especially in salad.

Everything about our stay at The Oberoi was simply perfect.

We arrived a little earlier but the staff was gracious enough to offer us an Early Check-in for free.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and mind-blowing - from the cleanliness to the decor. We were on the 17th floor, so the view through the glass walls is breathtaking.

The proximity of the hotel to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa is also worth mentioning, and yes, there's free shuttle to and fro.

We had dinner and breakfast at the Nine7One Restaurant and the food was very good, as well as the chef and staff who were warm and cordial.

Best Indian food I have had in a long while. They have a great Indian European fusion menu that shines a new light on trad Indian food

A new 5 star hotel . . . All the usual 5 star hotel stuff, but . . . building not yet finished. Weird entrance on the 3rd floor. A bit too Russian Oligarch style of room finishing . . .lots of gold bling, dark brown wood, abstract art . . . Pool feels like a bit of an after thought, breakfast room in the basement. Roof top bar with great views . . . but not owned by the hotel. Odd.

Parking is free for 30 minutes.. even 1 minute more will cost you 10 AED more.

Great hotel. The service is excellent, the standard room is great and the bathroom as well. He has a "Shatl" service, which is to go to Dubai Mall and return you for free

Quality hotel located in an upscale area of Dubai. Not far from metro station.

Cool hotel. We took the family suite. Cleaning every day. Lots of services. There is also a pool and gym. For breakfast buffet, a variety of food, cereals, pastries and omelets will be cooked as you want. The waiters
coffee included, there is an additional menu for free. What you ask, they will bring everything conveniently.
Overall, the hotel is wonderful. I advise!

Everything that you would have expected from an Oberoi property you will find here except for friendliness which was a surprise by itself because the owners pride for this . I hope that was a one off case which happened to us flying all the way to Dubai from Bkk for the New Year's with 2 family of young children. Would I stay there again.....NO

Fantastic lunch at nine7one - staff all went above and beyond to cater to both our dietary requirements and our toddler. Kudos to the team on duty there on Saturday Jan 28th 2017 - you made out day very special!

The best part is the location. Most friendly and courteous staff ever met. Luxurious and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast spread ananta and matto superb in house dining restaurants. Had a lovely and pleasant stay.

They were nice enough to give us a 4pm checkout as our flight was at midnight. Other than that the rooms are spacious but look worn out. The service was average, it was our anniversary day and the hotel was suppose to do some set up which they never landed up doing.

One of the finest and most luxurious five-star hotels and the staff of the hotel is exceptional and serve the guest with dedication and you can not find it in other hotels I mean here the services provided by the hotel staff

This is my first 5 star rating for any hotel in Dubai. My stay here so far has been surprisingly pleasant and exceptional. I have booked here as I am attending a business workshop at the same hotel. In the following points I will explain why this hotel wowed me. In my opinion this hotel brings back the luxury in your hotel experience. Which has long disappeared. I don t remember when was the last time I had such a pleasant hotel experience. The other issue in Dubai is most hotels are converted apartment buildings; which sometimes works but you can always tell this is not a purpose built hotel building.

1. The first thing you notice is how professional and friendly the staff are. Completely focused on attending to all your needs. Focused on customer satisfaction rather than money; they did not ask for a credit card. Most hotels not just ask for a credit card but insist on it and block an amount for security on your card which is such an inconvenience as sometimes it takes up to two weeks to unblock the amount.

2. The room from a design and comfort point of view is phenomenal. They have brought back all these small details without calling housekeeping. I am sure there is a person behind the scenes that s sole job is to perfect these details. (Namely)They provide two sizes of the home slippers, in the bathroom the full size tooth brush is back (with Colgate paste), loofa for showering, shower cap, floss, ear buds, a comb.

3. They provide super fast laundry service less than 30 minutes if needed. I asked for shirt pressing the night before and asked for it to be delivered to my room at 7am. They were there 7am sharp.

4. I had forgotten my hair cream so I called to ask if they had some available. Unfortunately they did not. So I asked them to pick up hair cream from my friends room on another floor and bring it back to my room (this alone was a surprise that they do that) not at any point any one was surprised of my strange request. However the real pleasant surprise is during my breakfast they went and bought hair gel from a next door pharmacy and left it in my room with a beautiful note from the housekeeping manager. Very thoughtful move.

5. On check in they offered late checkout to suit my flight timings without me asking. This place is just simply amazing.

6. The room is very well lit and have all the light switches labeled which is a huge plus. They also have normal multi type power sockets for two or three pins.

7. Without me asking the person who came to pick up my shirt for pressing offered to clean and polish my shoes.

8. Last but not least was the Iftar buffets. OMG!! What a feast. The variety was so huge that I didn t have enough space to try everything I wanted to try. Food was super yummy.

The service at this hotel was by far the best I've ever experience. Every staff member always had a smile on their face and were constantly willing to help. The staff went out of their way to make you feel at home in this hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and very modern. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

A beautiful 5 star hotel,strategically located at heart of new Dubai, Simple interior but size of the room imoress me. And only good thing is the toilet and its location ,
Most mid market hotel has same copy cat formula, once open your door toilet come first and creat a narrow passage, but here the story is different,

My entire experience here was fantastic. It was a great view. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and that luxurious bathtub! The pool area is nice, relaxing, and clean. The hotel staff are very attentive and friendly.
They celebrate our anniversary with a cake and balloons definitely I will likely stay here again

What can I say?
From the moment my mother and I got out of the taxi and welcomed through to the entrance we were in awe.
We had travelled through Thomas Cook on the day of the collapse and were told our reservation was cancelled and we had to pay again, we were in shock. The night manager then said don t worry we ve got a room already ready for you just sleep on it and we ll sort it the next day. We did pay again (luckily we bought our credit cards) but the staff could not have done enough for us and made us feel at ease and made a difficult situation as smooth as possible.
We were greeted with smiles each morning and always asking if we needed anything, nothing was ever too much for them. The personalities of every single employee we had the pleasure of meeting we re so lovely and we feel so blessed to have met them.
The Manager Kikali could not have done enough for us and she made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We had a wonderful time and couldn t recommend the Oberoi as a fantastic place to stay enough, for us every time we come to Dubai this is the place to be

Conveniently located at business bay , close to business bay metro station. Luxurious interiors and well appointed rooms. Though seating in the lobby area looks like not enough.

Incredible customer service and breakfast for royals. I sent my mum on a lone visit and they looked after her every need. She described the staff as attentive, kind and always once step ahead of the game. They made sure rose petals were waiting in a filled hot bath. WOW!
