The Oberoi, Dubai Review

A very beautiful, wonderful and calm place, and the management is very tasteful. A simple situation happened that did not comfort me.

Oberoi lives up to the standards and expectations!!!

The Oberoi group of hotels is one of the well renowned luxury hotel chains in India, the chain believed in providing Quality Product and Services. The Oberoi hotel in Dubai lives up to the expectations.

Check in :- Guests are provided with a welcome drink, check-in formalities were done within 5 minutes.

Room :- Cozy and comfortable, however I wasnt too fond of the layout though, the TV was on the right side of the bed rather than being front facing.

The bath and the bath fittings were immaculate, high quality Toto products installed all over the bathroom. Good Choice Oberoi...

Customer Service :- Great customer service experience, right from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. Neha the Duty Manager was absolutely amazing, very cooperative, great decision maker and an amazing problem solver. Let me explain the reason for her being so good, I booked 2 rooms on my credit card and unfortunately I had to cancel one 12 hrs prior to arrival. She made the entire process of cancellation a breeze.

Dhruv the Duty Manager on the other hand wasn't pleasant in his approach towards this scenario, he simply stated that the we would be charged for the stay and that the whole scenario was impossible. Dhruv needs to ease up a bit and smile and not use the "impossible" word as customers would probably not take that in a positive light.

We did have a pleasant stay at the hotel, the breakfast was really good, with quite a lot on offer.

Keep up the amazing standards...

I have stayed here many times in this hotel over the past two years while on business trips. The location is great. It s right in the center of city, still very quiet and comfortable. Staff there is polite and friendly. Delicious and fresh breakfast in a nice setting makes a great way to start a busy day.

Incredible customer service and breakfast for royals. I sent my mum on a lone visit and they looked after her every need. She described the staff as attentive, kind and always once step ahead of the game. They made sure rose petals were waiting in a filled hot bath.

We arrived early in the morning well before check in time, but Mustafa in the reception did everything to accomodate us and made our stay a true 5 star experience. I travel a lot and I rarely have such a great service, truly impressed!

At dubai standards ok. At European standards great.

Food quality and selection is nice but the staff looks like they have been overworked or just been in fight. 3 Times in same month I visited and they were so grumpy and not keen to help. All a sudden they decide to charge for coffee on the buffet without pre-notice

The service and entire attitude of all the staff, from the people at the reception when checking in, to the bell boys carrying the luggage to the waiters at the restaurant was absolutely pathetic. It was as if they were doing us a favour by doing their job. It was completely unlike the Oberoi and I was glad that we were only there for one night. While checking out, we wanted them to send someone to collect our luggage but no one at the bell desk or reception answered the phone. We ultimately had to take our bags down ourselves. Even though the hotel is brilliantly located and the room was extremely comfortable, the entire experience of staying at the Oberoi was missing. Very forgettable experience.

i went to hotels all over the world, and i gotta say this is one amazing and out of this world experience, The staff is AMAZING I'd go again just for the nice humble and really well mannered staff!! the rooms are amazing and beautiful and everyone makes you feel like home, they gave me an upgraded room and a ride to dubai mall in a Lexus FOR FREE, the room service literally makes the room look like brand new ! the even manage all your cables and chargers, i wanna especially thank and give all my love to moustafa and ghazal i think her name was, such a lovely hotel and such a lovely experience ! DEFINITELY WOULD GO AGAIN

In dining food was not good at all..but yes if u an Indian they have a superb Indian restaurant which is Ananta.. try from dat place ..U'll surely loved .. otherwise hotel was very good

Brand new property in Business Bay area. Reception is located at an elevated level with narrow ramp for parking pick up and drop cars. Car holding space is quite limited.

The room was ... There is no variety of food items and is dominated by Indian cuisine. (I do not recommend the buffet)
