Employee Katie C. was so helpful to this out of towner....she pointed me in the right direction several times and gave up some great locations that only the locals know about. Because of her I'll come back someday.

What a great choice to stay here! The location is perfect, the views spectacular, and the restaurant was terrific (and kudos for the great job they did setting up their restaurant on the back lawn). This is a great place to stay with kids and is very family friendly.

We absolutely loved staying here. Every room is differently designed than each other. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and I loved the bed linens. The grounds are neatly maintained as you can see in my pictures. Two giant thumbs up for the accommodations, design and staff. I cannot wait to come back in the summertime.

I chose this hotel because I read they have won multiple awards for a good working environment and for treating their employees well. And because they care about the environment and sustainability.

Due to Covid they don t currently have some of the environmental practices in place but rest assured they are composting and you can bring all your compostable food scraps and containers to them in the kitchen to take care of.

My family was on our way back home to Vermont from a camping trip and stayed one night. The room was perfect and comfortable. We had two private entrances from the outside which was perfect for the pandemic.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and you can t beat being right in the water!

Our favorite dinner option was the mushroom tacos. I really appreciate that they had beans for protein instead of copious amounts of cheese.

They make almost everything in house so if you aren t sure about something I encourage you to ask.

This is truly a family run business. Very hard to come by these days. If I ever need a hotel again in kennebunk, I will def choose the Nonantum.

What a lovely, beautiful place! We were here for one night during our honeymoon roadtrip around New England. The staff was incredibly open-hearted and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful and the views around the Resort are breathtaking. We were really sad because we had to leave after just one night. We'll definitely come back one day. Booking directly with the Resort is recommended, the really good breakfast is included if you book that way.

Nonantum Resort has been fantastic! It is right on the water with a beautiful view down a small inlet to the ocean with several boats on it. The grounds are very well kept and the room was very clean. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with our 8 month old. The restaurant in the hotel had a delicious dinner menu. Breakfast was a 4 table hot and cold buffet with a pastry table on which everything was made in house from scratch. The breakfast food was way above standard hotel breakfast. I highly recommend staying here. It is a short walk to down town and just down the street enough that it was not constantly packed with tourists outside the hotel.

(Cons)The wifi was the worst i have experienced in my life. Water pressure in shower was poor, bath rooms were not updated, very small rooms get two rooms if you have a family over 5, pool is small for a resort pool.

(Pros) great for kids, lots of kid activities, good yard space to throw a football , nice sitting area, 5 minutes away from down town, shuttle to bring you to a beach or to down town, able to rent kayaks or paddle boards to use in the water, great view.

Played here for Tuba Christmas, and ate in the little restaurant. The facilities I saw were beautiful, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and festive. Misses just one star because I don't think they anticipated quite the influx of hungry guests for the tuba event, so the food took quite a while to arrive. I will note, the sandwich I ate was delicious! Can't remember the name, but it had foccaccia bread, chicken, and avacodo Yum!

My wife's from Maine... .we actually got married down the road in Oguinquit 14 years ago... but I decided to surprise her by coming to Maine for her birthday for a few days. We opted not to stay at the in-laws home and stayed at The Nonantum Resort! They were very hospitable from the time we called and made reservations. I forgot the attendants name but she gave us one of the best rooms in Nonantum. It was seaside, corner of the resort with absolutely Perfect views! I can not Express enough how satisfied we were with the first class service and hospitality. Their breakfast was delightful and delicious with plenty to choose from. The views from any points on the premises were spectacular. I would advise to book directly through Nonantum versus a third party site. You will not regret your stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you Nonantum! And God Bless!

After being instructed where to park by staff who moved a cone for us, we later came out after our breakfast with Santa to an irate employee identified as "Guy" yelling at us about where we parked. We had a 95 year old great-grandmother (n a wheelchair) with us to see our daughters first visit with Santa and this man ruined the whole thing. I can't believe we were treated this way by your staff. You can thank "Guy" for the loss of our business and family tradition to come.

Just stayed here with our family of three! The resort is in a great, picturesque location. Our room was on the first floor and we could here everything that was going on above. On the nightstand they provide you with a sound machine and earplugs as they know this is an issue. I had no problem sleeping with the sound machine on, but the guests above also must of went to bed about the same time that we did. The bathroom is outdated with not a lot of counter space so bring a hanging cosmetic bag to help conserve space. Lots of children's activities and a pool as well as a quick walk to town or the ocean.

Great food, great kids buffet! Very family friendly and casual, yet elegant enough that you could also dress-up for a special evening. I thought the fish was a little over-cooked but given my wife thought it was one of our best meals in Kennebunkport I kept the rating at 5 stars.

If 0 stars were a thing this would be it! BI...

If 0 stars were a thing this would be it! BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT WAS DECIDEDING TO STAY HERE. Came here to celebrate my 22nd Birthday. Little did I know it would be the Biggest mistake I made in my entire life. To whoever reads this post, im not dramaticizing any events that occured at my stay here in the first week of August 2016. I'm so turned off by the MOTEL and the staff. This is not a 4 star hotel, nor should it be.The race card was played more than once here and my parents and I were picked on for net picking things for example a meal that was rare that should be medium... THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE. TOTALLY WRONG, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE PAYING FOR 4 HOTEL ROOMS spending over $3000!! I will gladly post my recipt for proof. We know that quiet hours is 11pm - 7 am... but I cannot talk outside on the porch without some security guard come to tell my family and I we are being too loud.I am sorry? We are the guest here as well, we aren't trying to PURPOSELY RAGE HAVOC to the other guests for singing a couple songs. If it is such an issue make your resort a 55+ ONLY inn bc this the 1st time my family and I have ever had issues with hanging inside my hotel room. Problems occured with obtaining room keys, and food and then we were treated differently since then...Some of the workers here are EXTREMELY unprofessional and are very rude. The Security here feels like they have too much freedom. The fact that I cannot talk or play music in my room after 11pm without a noise complant is ridiculous!!! I literally had a 50 minute argument with a security guard and parents about this atrocity. I've had enough stress from this place. I came here to RELAX and apparently our money is not good here. I honestly think this is probably the *WORST* HOTEL TO STAY HERE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUNGER CROWDS! For sure the worst hotel experience I have ever recived. Revamp everything about this place please. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU PLAN ON STAYING OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM PAST 11 OR THEY WILL CALL THE "COPS" ON YOU. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.s please rename your resort to the Nonsense resort

We were pleased with location and friendliness of staff at the hotel. We had a TV not working properly, staff came to fix it and exchanged it with one we could use. It is decorated very nicely and we immediately felt comfy in room. The bed was a little soft but fine. They served out tour group a delicious lobster dinner and also lovely buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The service here is AMAZING! We are very familiar with the top spots of Kennebunk yet this was our first stay but definitely not our last. From the best food for breakfast, lunch and one of the best dinners. To the Adirondack chairs by the fire with s'mores supplies included by the Inn. Never mind the convenience of bikes supplied, down to ultimate location with amazing shopping on site in the gift shop and near by either direction in Town The Views from the Inn are a 10! Can't wait to return. This place has amazing staff, clean rooms and to die for views. If you need to relaxing this is the spot!!

Very nice and particular resort hotel, well cared for in the various environments, from the outdoor garden to the very comfortable rooms.
Of course the cost is medium to high but worth a stay at least in a day.

The Nonantum is the best hospitality experience in Kennebunkport! They have activities for all ages going all day long, a nice pool, and beautiful views of the river. There's a variety of rooms depending what type you are looking for, and the staff is full of genuinely wonderful people. Don't miss out!

Our first time to Maine and the Kennebunkport area...

Our first time to Maine and the Kennebunkport area for a nice getaway weekend, we were not disappointed. Nonantum Resort was a beautiful place to stay and only 15min walk to the downtown shops. I had my first Maine lobster at 95 Ocean-- very good. The breakfast is complimentary for guests and they have a free shuttle that takes you within a 5 mile radius of Kennebunkport. The resort is also extremely close to Walker's Point/ the Bush Compound, Colony Beach, and on the other side of the downtown for Gooch's, Middle, and Mother's beach. All of the staff was very friendly and we hope to return here again! 10/10 would recommend to others looking for somewhere to stay in Kennebunkport.

I have stayed at many many hotels across the country and the staff here was some of the friendliest I have come across. My wife and I stopped here for the night and ate in the pub. Even though it was not their fault that they were out of what my wife ordered, they still compd her another entree of her choice. The rooms are very comfortable and the setting of the hotel on the water is beautiful!
