My experience up to this point. Brought car in Nov 3rd at the request of having it there for 8:30 am. Called back at 4:30pm that day due to no response. Was informed honestly that they just didn't get around to looking at my car that day. Closed for the weekend...Monday Nov 6th, called at noon before I started work. Was informed that the mechanic working in my car has left the building and will call me back. 4:15pm mechanic left message on phone saying call back. 4:45pm called back to confirm parts needed and price. Part needed to be ordered, end of day Monday will have to wait for Tuesday to order part. Was told by the latest: thurs nov 9th for car being done. Friday Nov 10, no word yet again. Called to inquire on status before work at noon. Was informed my car was still being worked on and one part takes 2.5 hours to install. ( the price reflects this part )..
Asked if I needed my car for the weekend and I said " well yes!" It's been a full week! Was then told will work as hard as possible to have it ready by the end of Friday Nov 10th...Morning of Monday Nov 13th time: Noon.... STILL NO WORD! Just avoide this experience all together if you can....

Locked my keys inside my car in Val Caron. The first company I called said they would be about 2 hours. I called Bob's and they initially said they'd be about an hour. They then called me back to say the driver was on his way, and he arrived half an hour later.

The tow truck driver was friendly but professional, and did the job in a matter of minutes. The cost was $75 which is exact if you pay cash, as the driver reccomended.

I've used Bob's a few times for work and I've always enjoyed their service.

Several weeks ago I was returning home from a hunting trip and my truck broke down. Fortunately I had CAA and got towed to Bob's Service Center . This happened on a Saturday afternoon and since no one was available for any repair work ; I had to spend a few nights in a local motel . First thing Monday morning the mechanics at Bob's were able to get my truck into their shop and finished up a much needed quick repair and I was able to get back on the road . I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of guys to help me out that weekend . The price of the repair was very reasonable and the service was top notch right from the tow to their facility to the end repair . Thank you Bob and all your staff for helping out a stranded traveler .

Been a customer for almost 40 years. Best mechanic in the sudbury area by far and treats you like family.

Had a very poor experience with this company. Over $3000 damage to my motor home from placing tow straps on front bumper. Very rude and ignorant on phone, would not respond to emails, would not provide insurance information, had to fight to get my tow bill refunded which I should not have paid in the first place. Now claims that the refund was to take care of the damages. Very poor way of dealing with this situation.

The staff are very polite can't ask for anything better

The man who came to tow us after an accident was a really helpful very patient great guy. We didn't know what to do next and he was really cool. He helped us more than his job description I'm sure. I don't know about the service at the shop just yet, but the tow man was an angel to us today.

Only have ever gone there for gas. Very friendly and courteous

Guy on the phone was rather rude, didnt even let me finish my sentence. Had to call another company.

Our travel trailer broke down and had to be towed on a low boy float. Towed 106 km. to repair location. Operators were very professional and careful with our RV both loading, securing and unloading and also had a very positive attitude. They made a bad situation much better. Thanks again.

my vehicle was stolen like 2 weeks ago i was told by bob the knobs towing that i would have to wait 7 days for the police to do a investigation and my bill will be around 500-550 dollars. now after the 7 days was up i had contacted bob the knobs towing, they had told me that the investigation would take a bit longer but my bill would be the same amount. Today is may,4,2017 this has been going on since April, twenty something 2017 i called about my vehicle today and asked if it was ready, bob the knobs towing told me my vehicle is ready to take back but it is going to cost me $800-$900. like this is just ridiculous especially when i have a child and programming/ training and work. Like the investigation shouldn't of taken so long. I had asked as a single mother struggling feeling a little depressed about my situation also if he could possible give me a bit of a break i had heard from several hard working men that hes helped them out and as a single mother struggling i thought to ask, and he said no that we could even make a payment deal but that still wasn't good enough. :( time to look for a new vehicle because i now cannot afford my bill especially with my missed work days.

Don't ever leave your car here!! No customer service skills! They will destroy your car. They don't care about peoples belongings. I spoke to BOB over the phone and he himself was very rude and couldn't answer any of the basic questions i had for him.. 0 stars!!!

Broke down in Sudbury and Bob's towing was the first for CAA to send, I am happy they sent Bob's towing, Steve the tow driver was an awesome guy who towed my van straight to Scarborough, about a 4 hour trip for me and 8hr for him return. Great people, great service.

Been going to Bob since mid 90 s. Bob has got much bigger since BUT same level of care for my vehicle and they are fast to get me rolling again without the price gouging that some other outfits charge.

This place is awesome. The staff are friendly and amazing!! They take good care of their customers and go above and beyond when needed. I won't go anywhere else!!

Giving one star is beling polite, on two occasions was told they would send a tow truck for me and didn't.
No call or nothing.
This time waited 2 hours and nothing.

Fast and friendly service. Came right out for an emergency vehicle lockout in the early AM on a weekend. Highly recommended.

Don't be fooled by the higher star rated reviews, pay attention to the negative ones cause they're probably more real. Worst customer service ever. Bob the knob lied to CAA and told them I had no valid plate and sticker on my vehicle, and with CAA once you're rejected, that's it, you're on your own. I got stranded and has to pay oit of pocket to tow. Bob the knob didnt want to tow my vehicle because it was late at night and he wasn't gonna make enough money

Let me share a short story. I got stranded near Warren, approximately 2.5 hours from home as I lost a tire and did not have a suitable replacement. I contacted CAA but they would only provide a 10km tow because of some logistical issues with the account holder and paper work delays. Bob from the service centre and the tow truck driver, Norm, were passionate about finding me a solution! Norm and Bob spoke on the phone attempting to find a solution. Bob told the tow truck driver to bring me to their service centre, despite it being more than 10km away. Bob did not expect financial compensation for the extra kilometers, he just knew that the service centre was open and I would be safer. Bob got back on the phone with CAA while we were on our way to the service centre and was able to convince the company to tow me back home. Bob and his employees could have just dropped me off at the nearest gas station and left, but they went the extra mile and by doing so got me back home so that I could get to work the next day. I am in debt to these folks and I sincerely feel like this review is not enough to properly thank them. Do not hesitate in using this service centre if needed. They'll even pour you a cup of coffee! Thanks so much to Bob's for their help and assistance in my time of need.

The drivers that work for Bob service need to crack a driver's hanbook and realize that it is not ok to be in the left lane as this is the passing lane...quit blocking tracfic in and then when we have the chance to pass of course on the right, the driver should not pull up behind you to the point they might as well be parked on top of you. You forced me to pass you on the right, you don't have the right to come up behind me and try to scare me because you don't like me passing you on the right when you forced me to do so. Next time I will call the police instead.

Good place for gas and snacks. Reasonable mechanics and quick towing is also available.
