Warm welcome from staff and nice pub food ( cosy welcoming pub)

Terrible Sunday lunch tasted like everything was cooked from a frozen meal, toilets looked as though they hadn't been cleaned for a very long time. Decor needs updating.

very friendly staff, very welcoming atmosphere. The pub grub is quite good and they have a small selection of good ales.

A good local with a selection of real ales it has a good mix of customers.

Its a good pub which is hit with a wave of fancy dressed pissed students most evenings. Nothing wrong with that per se but can get a bit tired

Have been a regular here for 23 years having seen at least three refurbishments. The latest one is the best. Still a delightful place to go.

Fairly poor selection of cask beer. But nice decor and they have a fairly decent dart board if you are looking for a bit of entertainment.

Absolutely recommend this place. "Great food"! beer and felt at ease.

Booked here last night and had a great night with my housemates. The employee on entrance was helpful and informative and directed us to a table swiftly. The drinks were good and pretty average in terms of affordability. The staff were pleasant and welcoming too. Recommend!

Cosy. Part of Otley Run, so expect a busy weekend. Was busy.

First visit since the refurbishment. Much improved. Should have been done years ago. Staff handling the current situation incredibly well.

We go there occasionally for a bite to eat if you go on a day that's hot it can get busy. The staff there or owners I should say are really nice and polite the food is decent too, my only gripe is I hate football and sport is all you'll find on their t.vs

Bit of a shambles... all of a sudden we were told to leave the pub (everyone was) no explanation... about 7 staff and drinks took some time to come to table.. wrong drinks a couple of times. Not good sadly

great little pub, used to drink here regularly when I lived in leeds, as long as you dont mind the stream of otley run students in fancy dress taking up all of the room in the front of the pub. At the rear there is a dart board and pool table so you can stay out of the way and enjoy your beer

An oldie but a goodie. Be sure to check it out when there aren't loads of Otley runners as this is too pub otherwise. Great selection of beers on tap and cask

Decent little boozer. Not loads of choice but friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Red hot inside during the summer months

Friendly service, good food at a good price. We ordered 2 meals for 9.49, gammon and fish and chips, excellent.

My friend said service was very slow when he went to the bar, but I got my pint swiftly enough

Average pub with a reasonable range of decent beer. Usually have Ilkley Brewery Mary Jane which is great. Music too loud for a quiet chat. Friendly staff. They seem to do very good priced food - not tried.

Couldnt get served with my pals because the barmaid refused to come within 3 metres of us. Sober as judges. Very moody. Skip this one.

Choice of craft ales. Good food with table service.

Absolutely love this place. Great drinks, great food and great prices. They never fail to make you feel welcome and even being on the route for the otley run, they are always quick with drinks. And there is plenty of places to sit or even stand to chat with people

OK as a pub. But avoid for food. There are plenty of better options in the immediate area

Great place for a quiet pint through the week & gets busy Saturday afternoon.

Thursday 21st November afternoon- staff didn't know the prices of the menu. Was mischarged twice. Had to argue the toss to get the menu price. Then food arrived without cutlery, napkin, sauces etc. had to get up each time. No word from the guy serving. No smile. No apology. Used to be a friendly service getting food in the afternoon. Last experience was really poor.
