Quiet, cozy, you can sit leisurely to study and write.
amazing place
The librarians take care of the constant quiet, easy to concentrate and suitable for students, lecturers, and anyone looking for a quiet place to sit and work / study with many items accessible to everyone,
In addition to cafeteria in place
Nice quiet place to study. Also almost any book u can think of
Nothing about the National Library. That even in the days of Corona these psychics manage to maintain function, order and non-sanity.
Israel's best library, it has any book you can think of. The library is dedicated to collecting the cultural treasures of Israel and of Jewish heritage and it holds more than 5 million books!
It was very touching for me to see there a book which sister of my great grandfather wrote about our family. I felt proud that it was there too.
Very soon it will be moved to a different building and won't be a part of Hebrew university campus.
The Central Library of Israel for book culture, great location, kind books and a fantastic selection of rare books
A charming and magical place.
Organized and well maintained.
Convenient and user-friendly.
amazing place! You can read almost any book published in Hebrew (pre-order)!
Even if you do not come to read, the place is completely quiet and comfortable for work.
A huge selection of books. Free registration (at least for students!)
I would love to see Zamir Cohen's science books there as well.
A wide variety of books (theoretical / reading) quiet and peaceful and really nice to study there
It's an amazing library with an incredible range of books, manuscripts, and other artefacts not only about Jewish life and culture in Israel but the diaspora, as well as other communities within Israel who are not Jewish. They have a truly staggering amount of material digitised - more than I have encountered in any library I have visited so far - and much of it is available for everyone to use and enjoy.
Not only that but they also have a lot of educational materials available for free online which helps children and others interact with the artefacts in the museum.
It is very important before you come to the national books, to make a neat list of the books you are looking for, and to note the various fascinating collections in the library.
Great cool and relaxing place to work or study. Good internet connection. It is a bit annoying that you need to leave the bags at the entrance and that to enter the campus you need an ID.
Very extensive collection of books. Quiet and pleasant place with park around.
The National Library is at the Hebrew University in Givat Ram, the university is divided into two parts, one part is in Givat Ram and the other part is on Mount Scopus. During this period, a new national library is being built and probably in the coming years the library will leave the university. The library is very large and anyone interested can come and get all the information for the books that are in the library. Inside the building on the second floor is the Eran Laor Map Collection. An amazing collection of all the maps of the Land of Israel for generations. Not far from the library is the private archive of Albert Einstein donated to the Hebrew University.
The library is located within the Hebrew University in Givat Ram. A pleasant and inviting place. From time to time there are free lectures and tours.
Nice place for studying. lots of study halls.
A huge collection of rare books.
Lovely place to study. Quite place. Wifi. Cafeteria on lower floor
It is a really nice place to come and study in and it's free of charge and any one can come here to work or study they have free internet and private rooms for free to study in also they do have free of charge computers you can use and simply it a great
A place full of Israel's cultural treasures before and after its establishment. The treasures are also accessible digitally.
Beautiful and quiet place. The attitude of the staff is very kind
Beautiful place to visit, impressive architectural structure
This is a backward country that does not have a history
Huge cultural bliss! With the book in its full sense.
The representative at the lending desk was kind but the general feeling that the interface with the library is not accessible at all even to people who get along with the technology and it is a pity because it distances those who are not students from the library.
