I called a few music lessons facilities and MLC was the only one who built 'try before you decide' lessons for my daughter. She was able to have 4 different lessons with different instruments before she decided on sax. My other daughter takes piano. After a year, we have added ukulele. We LOVE our teachers! I love how MLC fosters my kids' love of music by making it fun and by choosing songs they are interested in learning. The MLC has a family atmosphere and the communication and organization of the business is a parent's dream. Recitals are at Meredith and unlike dance recitals, they are optional, they are free, give you a free DVD (that was $35 at our dance place), a glass framed photo, and have a catered reception following. This place is really too good to be true. I can't recommend MLC enough if your child wants to explore music.

My son has taken lessons from Musician's Learning Center for years. It was amazing to see his musical gifts and abilities developed. He improved drastically on the saxophone and then recently wanted to learn how to play the guitar. The instructors are exceptional - professional, engaging, caring and they make learning fun. The staff is great to work with and they are very responsive and worked with us any time we had to reschedule lessons. I would highly recommend to anyone who has an interest in music. They have instructors for all levels and so many instruments!

We love the Musicians Learning Center! The instructors are fun, the reward system keeps my kids wanting to learn more and communication with the staff is great.

My son has been taking guitar lessons here with Brad since September 2016. He absolutely loves it! From the moment you walk in the front door you feel that the staff is more than happy to help you and your child explore their musical interests. Communication is amazing with both the front office staff and the instructors. Best of all, there is a free recital that the kids can choose to participate in or not. My son is somewhat shy but really wanted to do the recital! I believe it has everything to do with the caring nature of The Musicians Learning Center and can't thank them enough for instilling the desire to learn in my child.

We really like Miss Amber, she has been so nice and patient with us since day one. You do a great job with the recitals, really makes it fun and exciting for the students, it's a great experience. We like that we have the opportunity to try other instruments through the group intros and make up classes. And if we have any concerns you address them in a timely and efficient manner. I recommend you guys to everyone.

My two granddaughters spend summer vacation with us here in Wake County. Every year we get them involved in activities to help them learn and grow to be respectable children and eventually adults. They have been involved in gymnastics, karate, swimming, and other organized activities. This summer we heard their interest in music lessons, specifically guitar and drums. We are so glad we did and our only regret is that they had to return home to Connecticut and could not continue. They loved and we were happy with the lessons and especially Chris. Tell Chris I was FaceTiming with Jordyn and she told me to tell Chris hello. I didn t know how to accomplish that, however, now that I have this opportunity please tell Chris that Jordyn said hi. They will be back next summer and we will return for lessons. So on behalf of Jaeda and Jordyn, thank you for your time and hopefully we will see y all in the future. Raymond Rivera

I am very much a beginner trying to learn piano. I'm honestly shocked how much I've learned in such a short amount of time (just started early 2017). My teacher Cera has been fantastic. In fact all of the staff is great. What a wonderful place to learn and people to learn from!!

Excellent experience with our voice and piano teachers. The administration is very organized, communicates thoroughly and just frequently enough to keep us informed but not barrage us with email. Also great about helping us schedule make-up lessons if we need to miss one. We've been here for 2+ years and plan to continue for many more!

We love lessons here! My son, my daughter, and I all take lessons and it's our favorite day of the week. The instructors make music so much fun that my kids sit down to practice without prompting. The location is really convenient and scheduling lessons with the front desk is always easy. Group lessons are a huge hit with my kids too. It allows them to meet other instructors and have a "bonus" lesson on a weekend day. The instructors are all talented in not only music, but teaching. They really connect with the kids and create a love of music.

My son has been getting music lessons at the Musicians Learning Center for 5 years. The owner and the staff are excellent. They go out of their way to help the students and are dedicated. Lessons are are available at convenient times. If a student cannot attend a lesson, several options are available to make up the lesson, including group lessons. Any member of my family can take a group lesson in any instrument to make up a lesson. My son and I have able to try a few different instruments.
The the Musicians Learning Center's fees are very reasonable and less expensive than many other music schools. In the time my son has been a student, the fees only went up once and just a few dollars.
When my son first decided to try piano we looked at several music schools. Some of the schools were very rigid. One of the schools even wanted my son to get a full 88 key piano before he had even tried a piano lesson. Recitals were also mandatory there. That was definitely not the school for us.
The Musicians Learning Center offered a free lesson, so my son could decide if he liked piano or not. He didn't need to own a piano either. The owner recommended a piano instructor based on my son's needs and personality. My son absolutely loved that instructor and has been with him the entire 5 years. Recitals are not mandatory. In fact, my son has never been pressured to participate in one.
I highly recommend the Musicians Learning Center to anyone looking for an excellent music school.

It's been great! It's easy to schedule and easy to communicate. The opportunity for recitals is excellent, but best of all, the teacher is fabulous!

We love Ms. Cera Finney! My daughter has taken voice with Ms. Cera for over a year and has made a lot of progress but most importantly really enjoys the lessons!

I really like my daughter's instructor, Julie. She's very professional, knowledgeable, and I particularly appreciate that she challenges my daughter. Overall, they have a professional staff who are also flexible with our needs.

I have been playing guitar for 28 years, and as most who play know, it is easy to fall into a rut with your instrument. After all, guitar can never really be mastered, it is a continual learning, evolving, and growing process. You must find ways to continue learning and challenging yourself. Having recently developed an interest in jazz, I decided to find a teacher who could teach me some jazz concepts. Frank answered the call. He is patient, humble, experienced, and knows his music theory. Every week I looked forward to my lessons as they were challenging yet rewarding. I feel like I have become not only a better guitar player, but a better musician because of Frank and The Musicians Learning Center. Thanks!

My son took guitar lessons in his senior year in high school until he went to college and he enjoyed it immensely. He went in knowing very little about how to play the guitar and he's doing wonderfully now. He has learned about reading music, the mechanics of playing the guitar, beat and rhythm, etc. I liked the fact that when he needed to reschedule, he could do that. If he missed an appointment, he could make it up with the group lessons. He was introduced to other instruments like the piano in the group lessons which he enjoyed as well. I would highly recommend this center for music lessons.

The staff was very friendly. The teacher taught my daughter a better way to play her Ukulele. She is part of the school band and has a better idea of the best way to play the instrument and count beats.

Both of our children took music lessons here and we could not have been any more thrilled! The teachers were great! Craig figured out how to "talk" to my son to peak his interest. I don't think anyone else could have gotten him to learn piano. The staff members are all very nice and accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend The Musicians Learning Center if you are considering music lessons!!

I take lessons here. The staff is very friendly and greets you upon entrance and exiting.
