Mitchell Farm is a beautiful equine retirement facility with the friendliest owners. They have always been so welcoming when I have stopped by to say hi to see the horses. Mitchell Farm hosts some really extraordinary events, such as concerts and a Lippizaner Dressage performance. If you want to get involved, I know they take volunteers to help care for the nearly 30 elderly horses at their stable.
The horses get amazing loving care by the staff and many volunteers dedicated to retired horses.
