The greens had just been aerated, otherwise I suspect the quality would have been excellent. It took a bit longer than I would have thought for the drink cart to come around, but overall it was a great place to play a round of golf. This course is beautiful.

Structure for a nice golf course is there, nice clubhouse. Tee boxes were like a back yard. Greens were very bad. No aprons, spotty turf in fairways, lots of quack grass and bald spots. Yardage was off i swear from cards.

Track is really nice. Long and unique holes with nice elevation changes on many holes. Course condition is 4.5. Great staff all around and the facility is beautiful. Will play again when in the St Louis area.

What a GREAT FATHERS DAY! My friend and I purchased 18 holes as Fathers Day gifts for our husbands and what a RACIST experience it was. Not one BUT THREE TIMES the guy turned the water on right before they approached the Greens! They went in and made a complaint and what do you know? The manager argued them and asked were they sure. She was very ignorant and unconcerned! If you dont mind spending $$$$ and being treated unfairly this is the course for you!

Very disappointed. Brought my 15 year old son out who plays high school golf. No Junior rate. Charged $58 at 2pm on a Thursday. Course is in decent shape. Hardly any water on the course, no drink person driving around and the restaurant was closed at 6pm.....unreal. It has been several years since i played here and will probably be my last. Truly a shame how far they have fallen. And the carts are horrible for what USED to be the premier course around.

If they end up building the planned subdivision here, this review will become 1 star. They would be transforming an awesome layout in a pristine bit of forest into a travesty of a housing development. UPDATE: They did begin the subdivision, so one star it becomes. Disgusting.

Great layout and usually in good enough condition, but a bit overpriced compared to other local courses. Also, absolutely ZERO yardage markers anywhere on the course. Don't play here if you don't have a GPS or laser.

Also, super slow and somehow has problems with carts dying out on the course.

Layout was good. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Fairways were challenging because of a lot of slope. Greens were in bad shape. They had many bare spots and many ball marks that were not well repaired. Also no beverage cart on a Saturday. Not recommending to anyone at this point.

I m not sure about the golfing side of it, but DO NOT host an event here. Hosted a wedding here and we were told serveral different things from different staff members and the day ended up being a cluster. Plus, it felt like we were in the way of all the staff and the golfers and expeeanced rudeness from staff.

I found the layout to be excellent .elevation changes are outstanding and challenging . But the tees fairways and greens are very rough. Both literally and tongue In cheek. Only 1 or 2 greens where acceptable putting conditions
Not one tee deck was mown if you don t tee it up high you can t hit the ball properly.. it s like being in the first cut of rough all day.

Nice course but way over-priced. It has a fancy club house and nice, newer carts. It's definitely a $50-55 dollar course. compares to a $45 course if driving out to Mystic Oaks in Waterloo IL but charging more than Tapawingo is looney

I called and emailed Tim Arnold to bring 40 golfers the last 2 years he ignored my messages and emails. we have been doing business with Mo Bluffs since 2008 but when Tim took over he made us feel like an inconvenient every time we bring my league at Mo Bluffs. A simple no would be nice instead of ignoring my messages and emails.

This is a decent course and the condition is what you would expect of a public course but as far as value for your money, it's not a good deal at all. They over charge for what you get , but what really detracts from the course's value and experience is the staff. We recently hosted an event at this course, and every interaction with them prior to the day we played, and all throughout the day of play, our tournament organizers and golfers were treated terribly. The interaction we had with Tim Arnold, the Bluff's manager, was the least professional and most condescending experience that we've ever experienced in our 20 years of putting together golf outings. Speaking with many of our 130 event participants, it was almost comical to hear how many people were unhappy with this course. We also heard many other stories of other peoples negative experiences through the past few years. We'll never take our group back to this course, and we strongly suggest anyone considering hosting an event here look into other options.

We just had our wedding here this weekend and our experience was terrible. When we did our first walkthrough they told us we had access to the whole clubhouse. They told us that they don t double book the hall and they did. When they setup upstairs they were told they weren t aloud up there, the coordinator Ashley was very rude about the situation. My wife had to get ready in the public bathroom. We had a terrible time. Save your self time and don t go here. They promise so much and give nothing.

This course is a lot of fun. Greens are in bad shape. Many bare spots and unrepaired ball marks. Bunkers were not raked out after the previous days rain. We played Saturday at 1151 and there was no beverage cart. Talked to the Marshall and he mentioned the course was over booked as a LPGA group showed up. Took us 5 hours to get through 17. We had to skip 18 due to other plans. Tee boxes are in great shape, same as the fairways. Many of the fairways are narrow. We played the gold tees at ~6700 yds but with the humidity and the elevation changes it felt like we were playing 7000 yds. Overall the course is still better than most course in St. Louis. We got a discounted tee time of $50 which made the course comparable for the condition that it was in. I would probably give the course 2 stars if I would have had to pay the full $70. In the end I will be playing this course again.

Absolutely loved for our wedding. Ashley was amazing, caring on right on top of making sure we were taken care of. She was very concerned that everything was in line with what we wanted. The food was great. And she was absolutely the best. Thank you for everything.

I ve been playing the Bluffs since it opened and I have never been more disappointed. It is in horrible condition. The course is poorly maintained and the greens are the worst that I have seen on any golf course. It is a shame.

150 for two people to golf and then they rush you through. We were having a great time at first then they decided to have a golf tournament after over booking their morning golf tee times. How are you going to tell a veteran to rush when you are the one who over booked and we couldn't go any where anyway because there were several groups in front of us. Your tournament guy was so very rude. For being a renowned golf course very rude staff. If I could do zero stars I would but it won't let me. Very disappointing we will never be back.

Greens and fairways nice bit it's obvious the budget is lean. Carts with some bald tires, most bunkers filled with water and lacking sand. The areas around the greens were in rough shape. There would be multiple GUR areas on several holes if there was a tournament being conducted. Areas coming off the cart paths are very rough and chewed up. Saw two maintenance workers total. Clubhouse is tired with a lightly stocked pro shop. The layout and practice area is still fabulous but the lack of reinvestment back into the facility is very obvious. No longer your "Country Club for a Day". Hope they can find a way to bring the course back to where it was in the late 90's.

Not one to review much and this layout still has a lot to offer. But this course used to be my absolute favorite in the area. The past few years you could tell things were not as good, but still a very playable, well maintained course. Played yesterday, and can easily say the greens were the absolute worst I have ever played in STL. I cannot believe they are charging $70+ greens fees and 1/2 of the green surfaces are unplayable. Such a great layout, and the fairways are still top shape. A few rough teeboxes, but primarily good from the back tees. The greens were just too much to overlook. There are courses in the area that charge -$20 for tee times that have better greens right now.

The greens are in need of some attention. From the players! (AKA Members). Fix your ball marks people. Plus one!! Every time you walk on a green (every green) you should bend over and fix at least, TWO!! ball marks. Yes, even if you didn't hit the green.
Maybe if the course GAVE away divot tools?
Some of the Tee Boxes were in real bad shape. (Very uneven, no grass).
Other than that, the fairways were real nice. The clubhouse was very clean. All the people were nice and polite. The scenery is beautiful, from a distance. (referring to first paragraph).
But for $80, i was expecting more.
Still had a great time. All in all, very beautiful.
