June 2021: How professional is it for them to take pet deposits and pet rent from restricted breeds? Or are they even charging as they should be? And if they are, I wonder if they are pocketing the money? They admit to not enforcing their STRICT pet policy and then be rude about it. They ask people to leave for feeding stray cats but won t even enforce their own policy.

UPDATE: March 1, 2021 - Several residents have had their car tires/wheels stolen, broken into and vandalized. There are still no security cameras and property gate codes were publicly posted for anyone to see, gates left open for day/weeks. LYND priority is to renovate the front office and not the safety and security of residents.

New management is terrible! Dana (property manager) is rude and obnoxious. STAY AWAY! Haven t even been here a month and already put in my 60 notice.

Bad experience already I just moved in a few days ago! Zero stars if I could. People on third floor bring sketchy people on the property and lurking around peoples cars. What s next? Break ins?

I have been attempting to get my air conditioning fixed since DECEMBER with absolutely no concern from the management here at a property owned by Lynd. The management here is so horrible and the units are falling apart. I can't even begin to describe all that's gone wrong since we moved here without writing a book. I do NOT recommend any properties owned by this company. They're so focused on making the "curb appeal" of the apartments look good that they aren't fixing anything for the residents who actually live here.

I really wish I could leave 0 stars! I went into the office of Laguna Run (7001 Martin Drive New Orleans, La 70126)to resolve an issue with them trying to evict me wrongfully. The dialogue escalated quickly. The LEASING MANAGER PULLED A GUN ON ME and I was unarmed. I will not stop reporting these people until they are fired. CRYSTAL is one of the lady s name continuously arguing with me. Then the LEASING MANAGER PULLED A GUN ON ME. Not to mention she did all of this in the presence of my 5 YEAR OLD SON! Brandishing in the presence of a minor. Not to mention I have contacted this main branch multiple times NO ONE will answer. They only answered for me the first day I reported the incident. They have been avoiding like the plague since.

According to Valerie Alafa, this is clean and taken care of. There is no evidence of mold in my home as she went on June 2nd to go inspect it. I have had mold since January 30th 2021, Dana Warren notified corporate in February and corporate came to spray over it. A couple weeks later mold showed up again and again (i notified Dana Warren multiple times) and worse than EVER in May 2021.

Absolutely the most vile rental company I have ever seen... moved me into an apartment with NO FLOORING after a 4 month wait that kept getting extended... company refuses to do any maintenance whatsoever, even when the conditions are dangerous such as leaking ceilings, or light switches that are hot to the touch... eventually they sold the property but made no note that they had agreed to continue my current rate. David Lynd is a dishonest swindler who hires the most ornery, unpleasant office staff possible, because he has absolutely has zero concern for resident experience/ well being.

Came here to find the corporate number and complain. Guess everyone else has the same issues 1.7 wow.
They never answer the phone or complete work orders. Pools was always being closed for no reason. Now it s been closed for a month straight. They never show up to complete lights out and faulty electric work.
They have been going back-and-forth lying about what s wrong with the air conditioner for two months. There s are infants and elderly in the apt and it s been over 85 degrees. The manager has been shown pictures of 85+ thermostat AND heat rash on the baby from sweating all night!
I asked several questions about tenant/landlord/renting law, and what they were responsible for. I was literally given I m not allowed to answer those question !!!
I said, is that because your company doesn t allow you to answer? Because they know it will make them look bad for breaking the law?
He literally shrugged his shoulders and smirked
Someone better fix this ac and give one hell of a discount for the past few months, or I m calling the BBB tomorrow.

This company lied to their tenants after Hurricane Ida and told them it was ok to return, while taking pictures that neglected to show standing water, Mold destruction, and other elements. UNSAFE LIVING CONDITIONS. DO NOT RENT HERE.

The property management company will not respond to your emails. They refer them to your property manager who has no authority to make decisions. I live at Ventana in Houston, TX and the management has let this place go! If you don t mind your car being broken into, no clean/functioning pool, trash being littered about the place, no functioning computer room, 2 broken barbecue grills, fire alarms that go off at all hours, and the smell of dead rats in the halls, then this is the perfect place for you! These issues have been persistent since The Lynd company took over in November of 2020. It has now been 7+ months and not one of my complaints has been resolved. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I do not recommend living in any of their properties. They do not complete work orders. I have work orders opened from March that still have not been fixed. I can only use half of my stove and that's been an issue since May. They have changed management 3 times since I've lived here and each is worse than the last. The one before this one closed ALL of my work orders without fixing anything so I had to redo them. They don't care it's as simple as that. Management says they are doing their best since there is only one maintenance man between two properties, Lynd needs to care enough to have enough people to care for their tenants. Even the apartment manager has to go between properties. For at least two properties they have one manager and one maintenance man. It's unacceptable.
