We wait for half an hour just service 2 coffee, staff said it is table service for ordering food, we ask twice when can I order? The respond only ( wait ). How long should the customer wait? Finally we can order, one menu was sold out, it is really unacceptable customer service, I'm really not recommend to come here, especially asain, I feel like discrimination! Because the OZ who come later then us they are already eating.

ridiculous cafe!

Reply the owner:
You don't have an apology at all, but instead count the guests' time as a sophistic response. Next time, also calculate the time guests expect to come here, the time waiting to be seated, the time of Uber delivery person (poor guy waiting for half hour), everyone's time is precious. I would appreciate it if you could focus on serving guests. You are so attentive to accept the opinions of guests, and it is not difficult for me to understand how you educate employees. Discrimination is a feeling that hiring Asians does not mean you treat everyone equally. Service is bad because your cafe is not well managed, there is no service area division, no job division, the waiters are doing the same thing, causing service confusion, even enough staff but everyone like a fry, don t know what to do and the only victims are the customers. When the menu is given to the guests, the guests should be told that what is sold out, not the guests are only informed when they order. I knew the customer who come after us have a meal before us, and they have been arranged to a better seat without a reservation. If you like to deny it, just let you go. I took the time to complain today because it is really bad service touch my bottom line. Everyone sees your response, let the public feel it. Everyone: You can also search for low-rated reviews, and one out of ten guests looks like me. Anyway, I will not come again. This service attitude and management's handling methods are really shameful.

Very busy place so be ready to stand in line to get a table. Lovely setting and good service. Breakfast / Brunch that we had was also very well prepared and presented. Coffees were yummy too. Will recommend.

The restaurant wouldn't take the smallest alterations to the food. I was allergic to crab and asks for that not to be in my food. I've done that many times before.. But the "owner" didn't want to. They would rather see us leave than accommodate us. Pretty xrappy when you have only 10 items on your menu. Never coming again.

Have visited before a year ago and had a great experience last time! So much so I booked it for my birthday brunch. This time however we were all left disappointed. The food and coffee was delicious as always but the service was seriously lacking.

Booked a table online which was then confirmed over the phone and when we got there the lady said we didn't have a booking.... then proceeded to make us all feel like seating and serving us was such an inconvenience. Sad because the food is bomb but I won't be rushing back in a hurry.

I give 2 starts because the food and coffee were great for the few times we went there. However, the service had been consistently disappointing. Each time we went there, it seemed to be very slow to have someone to take our orders, the food often takes a long time to arrive and the attitude from some of the staff made us feel uncomfortable. Hubby works in trauma surgery, so we don't have much time to spend together before he is called in for emergency cases. But I liked the food there, so we kept going back even we knew it might not be a great experience.

The last time we went there a couple/few months ago, it got worse. It wasn't specifically busy, we were asked to sit down to wait. It took a very long time to even get anyone's attention. Then we were told to wait even more. Someone else came in ( a Caucasian father and daughter), very soon they got there order taken, and we were still waiting. The whole time, we felt that we were constantly, even deliberately being ignored. Hubby eventually got angry and we ended up leaving. He actually complained to the front staff and let them know that this felt like borderline racism.

I don't know if racism is too much of a big term to describe our experience. But it certainly made us feel that way. In medical school, we were taught to be specifically wary of our own "unconscious biases". Also, we were taught to ask open questions, building rapport with patients to build the trust for them to tell us their issues. We practice a lot because we know even if you didn't mean it, you could make someone feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the last experience was too much for us to take and we would not go back again.

my favourite brunch place, slowly trying all their amazing never boring menu and have yet to be disappointed. Love the chai making experience. Tip: Get a spot in the ladies waiting area for warmth!.
