Mediocre food, half-decent service.

We ate here twice, once at breakfast and once at dinner. For dinner I had the steak tips with mushroom ragout and roasted tomatoes. The plate did not feel properly composed, every piece was fine- I suppose, but it didn't feel like a coherent meal, and there was not really enough sauce to go with the steak.

It also felt like it was difficult to get a refill on my water. Both at breakfast and during dinner.

Breakfast was fine, but who can mess up a plate of eggs, toast, and sausage?

Tonight we had a delicious meal. I had the scallops and my husband had the beef tenderloin tips. Both of us thought the flavors were great. Also there is a beautiful view, which is a treat for us as we are from Arizona and rarely see water. The server, Becky, was very attentive to whatever we needed. I would reccomend this place.

Beautiful view thats why it gets 2 stars, service was more self service price was expensive compared to what you can get downtown.

The place is amazing, they have a great view to the ocean, to take breakfast there when they open is very relaxing. The truth is that place is fantastic. Everybody who visit Bar Harbor have to take at least a breakfast there.

Went here with a group & our choices for a menu were very limited to three choices. We sat inside the restaurant which I was not impressed with. The outside on the deck was beautiful. I was not impressed with the food.

Went last summer, will go back. Best restaurant view on the Island, fire pit, great atmosphere. Delicious food, especially if you're vegan, gluten free or vegetarian, fresh from their own garden!

The place is well situated on a hilltop from which you could watch the harbor, the sightseeing is really amazing and full, one of the best location for a restaurant. The service is really accurate and they keep track of every need of the customer. The 2 stars come from the price. Even if the quality of the food is great they lost everything with the chips.I loved in New Hampshire for almost 2 years and the lobster roll is one of my favorite plate. When they bring you Lays chips with your roll is time to get up and go away, don't even bother yourself just stand up and walk! Yup lays chip. 24 dollars for an hot dog buns with 4 pieces of lobster meat and a handful of lays chips is ridiculous..I was stupid because is the only restaurant near the hotel and I knew that. No competition means high price and low quality. Avoid it near the coast there is plenty of better and cheaper restaurant

Everything about this place was amazing. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. We went here for a birthday dinner and everyone licked their appetizer, dinner, and dessert plates clean. The customer service was above and beyond. I accidentally left my credit card there and the waiter found the phone number attached to our reservation and got it back to me as soon as possible. Another bonus is that the view from this restaurant is gorgeous. It overlooks Bar Harbor and is well worth the short drive out of town to eat here and enjoy the view.

I went to dinner here and was very unsatisfied with the my experience. The service was indifferent and everything was served late. The food was unseasoned, bland and very expensive. I would not recommend this place to anyone for dinner. The only good thing is the view.

This restaurant responded well to covid. The seating is generously spaced out and the food is served quickly and professionally with limited contact with the staff

Luke warm soup. Hair in salad. Not worth the effort to find. $30 to add a piece of lobster to mac and cheese? Plenty of other options .
