This is a hidden gem in the busy Chicago area. I was looking for a get away and this was the perfect place. The hotel is away from the busy downtown area, quite surrounding, and beautiful location with good short walking trails and lake. The hotel connects to the hamburger University and is very near to the Oakbrook Mall. The hotel has nice restaurants with decent food and drinks menu. The pool was clean and good, with the only risk factor being that you had to climb down the stairs from the shower room to the pool, and vice versa. I found this to be risky as anyone may lose balance and risk slipping due to the area being wet. The room was clean and the support staff was very courteous. In the room I didn't like the bed cover with down feathers as I found myself feeling a bit allergic in the morning. I could see small feathers in the air as I would sneeze, and have itchy eyes in the morning. I would suggest to request for bed covers without the feathers. Though the room was clean for the most part, the areas that aren't usually used were not so clean. I could see dust on the top of the head rest and other small areas in the corner of the room. This also may have caused me to feel allergic. The best part of the hotel is the property. The place is very beautiful and serene. I'll go back to the hotel for the location, surrounding, and request a room with regular bedcovers.

Not the best interiors as conference rooms and dining area. Room was clean and cool. Breakfast was less than average. Friendly staff.

Beautiful venues throughout. Campus grounds well kept and will lighted during evening for walking around. Trees are lighted from bottom as well as up in tops of trees downwards. Great food!

It was ok. I didnt like the bed frame. Kept hitting my leg on it.

Sadly, this hotel does not maintain the Hyatt standards. I left after about an hour because the room air conditioning and refrigerator did not work and the staff really did not know how to handle.

Perfect place to rest, very quiet and cozy. The staff friendly and attentive. Large bedroom with an excellent bed. Green areas for walking or cycling. Near a Mall

The signage for this hotel is horrible. This includes inside and out. It is a Labyrinth with lots of twist and turns within the facility. I won t be back and wouldn t recommend this location.

The service and food were both good, though the prices were a bit expensive.

Lovely banquet hall, had a Christmas party in there and it was fantastic.

Beautiful property, very nice rooms and amazing customer service. I came to stay here because of a flight delay and they were nothing but kind to me. They let me check out at 3 the next day so I wouldn t have to sit at the airport until my flight came at no additional charge. The grounds are filled with beautiful walking trails, inside lounge areas are very nice. The food I ordered to my room was great as well. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

I absolutely luv this hotel. Me and my girl come here for a nice getaway or on special occasions. Either way, it's always a great experience. The entire staff including the management team are incredibly nice and accommodating. Any issues that may have occurred, they solved with ease and with a smile. This is a really great hotel and we will be back again. Thank everyone for making our stay such a great one.

My stay here was absolutely amazing. Great customer service, food, and amenities. Loved the pool, sauna, and steam room. There are showers and lockers in the locker room near the pool as well. I was given a quiet room away from elevators and stairs as requested and really appreciated that. Everything about this stay was great and I would go back if in town again for sure!

Attended a seminar here. The food was very good. Their fruit cups were so fresh I was very impressed.

Went for a work conference. Space was adequate. Facilities were nice and well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly.

We went there for the pool. It was very nice and it feels very open. Also, the pool does not smell very chlorinated.

Service was amazing, staff is friendly, bathrooms and rooms are amazingly clean. I would recommend this location to anyone!

Huge campus. Awesome staff and very nice grounds. Only reason not a 5 star is the confusing check in and parking situation. Otherwise,beautiful rooms and complex!

Beautiful modern Hotel with beautiful grounds. The hotel is very easy to get to and has plenty of free parking.

What a hidden gem of a place. Absolutely stunning grounds, hotel facility, while not the most current, is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. Near Fullersburg Forest Preserve there is no shortage of hiking, running, and biking.

Clean and quite. Plus the park around it is beautiful.

Room was nice ..parking is situated too far from the hotel . But There is valet parking available at a cost . They need to position the room location signs in the middle of the hall so you can see which direction to go ( left or right ) to your room number..several time I found myself going left then turning around to go the other direction because the sign isn't positioned correctly.. I wasn't the only guest that saw this problem ...we were discussing among our self when we had to turn around ..I also had an issue with bugs in our room. I'm still trying to figure out the next step..I also wasn't the only guest with a bug issue...(roaches)

The hot tub has been broken for an entire week and do not plan on using the pool monday through thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm because you will be bombarded with noisy children from a local ymca doing swim lessons.

Wonderful and warm setting, full of history. Great food. Had an amazing time. I am a fan of the University of Michigan but found the picture Ohio State Buckeye tree very interesting. Captured the picture and sent to all my friends that went to Ohio State University.

This is a first class Hyatt property. As a business traveler, I frequently stay in Hyatt properties and as of late have been less impressed with the customer service provided. But I cannot say enough good things about this property. The room was warm and inviting and every interaction with the staff was pleasant. I will definitely stay at the Hyatt property in the future.

Will definitely be back and hope to always get the same room that I had because of where it was located!!!!!

Outside of some dated decor, the place was pretty amazing.

The Hyatt Lodge has a unique forest back drop with lots of windows all around. Everything flows nicely from the cocktail area (sometimes outside), to the ballroom for the dinner/dancing. Dinner is perfectly prepared, and management is fun to work with. Great place to have a reception and/or party.

Very nice, clean and reasonably priced for the area. I have stayed many times, and will stay many more times.

Great food and service. Fantastic spa & work out equipment. Swimming pool, hot tub, steam room & sauna to round out a relaxing stay.

We stayed here 5 nights and enjoyed our stay here. They cleaned the room everyday, and the girls are the desk were always very nice. We had to switch rooms due to needing a bath tub for our baby and Ashley took care of us and was great throughout our stay. The location of this hotel is perfect; you re right by the highway, and stores/mall.

The campus is very beautiful. We Did family portraits outside. Very clean and pretty.

I have mixed thoughts about this hotel. I was in Chicago for a day trip (work). The reviews led me to believe that this hotel was a viable option. The staff was kind and landscape beautiful. The location made it feel secluded and it has an older, drab feel to it. The lack of more modern features and amenities were rather difficult to handle. It has very limited dining options and because it is so isolated, a food delivery will take up to an hour. Overall, there is nothing special about it.

A great place to have a meeting at. The class room we used was perfect and the facility is beautiful.

Rooms were large and nice. The food catering was excellent. I also enjoyed the beverage stations located throughout the facility.

Walked around the Hyatt lodge to take a look and it seemed very nice and well maintained but on the older side. Very conveniently located near McDonald's headquarters if you need to go there!

Gorgeous, secluded area on the lake and in the private woods of the McDonalds campus. The buildings, facilities and catering are all first class. The staff is exceptional, attentive and always go the extra step to please. The staff elevates this hotel to an entirely new level.

The food was very good and the workers were all very polite and courteous. The facilities were very clean and nice on the eyes. Loved my experience.
