Very friendly, accommodating staff, from the gatekeeper to the spa staff. They truly make the place memorable. The rooms are a good size, comfortable beds with 5 choices of pillows, great showers, everything is very clean. The food is excellent with smaller portion sizes (the way they should be, instead of the typically oversized ones we are used to). Plenty to do, beautiful grounds.

I love this place. The Lodge and its surroundings are truly beautiful. We visited in the fall, and while there weren't as many outdoor activities as during the summer, the natural beauty of the surroundings more than made up for it.
The whole Woodloch resort is huge and offers lots of options for activities for groups of all ages. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
This was our second stay and it didn't disappoint. There is so much to do archery, kayaking, pale boarding, wall yoga, drums alive, cooking demos, trampoline water aerobics, and more. The food is great too!
I absolutely loved my stay here. To get pampered and made to feel special was just wonderful. The food was fantastic. The service was excellent. I've already planned my next trip
One of our top Spa places to go. The people are great, the treatments the best ever and the menu is centered around a healthy diet. The best place you can relax or exercise to your heart's content.
Ultimate relaxation! The spa is wonderful. Dual waterfall whirlpools and an outdoor infinity whirlpool create many opportunities for relaxation. Food is very good, with two menus a week that alternate days. Alcohol isn't included, but the limited selection is fairly priced. Rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. Tons of activities! This is like sleepover camp for adults!
Amazing place - great service, great food, incredible spa / locker rooms / pool / hot tubs and beautiful outdoor space. Such a nice setup for any type of weather, lots of activities available indoors as well.
So beautiful. We stayed in one of the private houses not the lodge but we did go to the lodge to eat. The menu was dismal to say the least. U hav literally like 5 options to choose from to eat! But the spa makes up for it. Beautiful spa n awesome staff. Lady who did my facial was crazy knowledgeable n super nice. Awesome pool even tho i dont do chlorine it looked really nice. Hav special waterfall that massages u. Showers n showering areas were amazing. The private houses i will just sum up in a few words...very clean. Spacious (3 floors). Full kitchen.....All comforts of home.
Woodloch Pines is one of the best resource that we have ever been. Our family look forward to going to see here. The activities are fun for all ages, and we enjoyed spending the whole week here. It is a very family oriented resort
We have been here three times for our anniversary and it has been incredible each time. Friendly staff, great rooms, stellar food and beautiful hiking not far away. Our favorite retreat.
The best vacation/spa ever! I took my wife for her 40th birthday and we had an amazing time. The people were fantastic. The food was fantastic. The spa services were fantastic. It definitely lived up to and exceeded its reputation. I will be returning.
Absolutely loved the buildings and my room! It was a very comfortable size with. A queen or king size bed. Tv available, an outdoor veranda for sitting. Truly exceptional housekeeping! I never knew when they came or left, but whenever I returned to my room, it was ready for day or turned down for night time. I felt exceptionally welcome and like a celebrity! I have been there 4 times already and am planning on makinh this my yearly getaway gift!!
Loved staying here so many great activities and extremely relaxing environment. The robes were so soft and comfy. Room was extremely clean. However mattresses were firm...this would be a reason I might not be able to stay in the future because of my chronic back issues. I am hoping in the future maybe they will have some pillow top options. My fiancee and I loved the eucalyptus saunas however it would be nice if they were co Ed. That was by far one of our favorite things. The food was phenomenal!!! We attended the 90s show and I absolutely loved it. I would attend that every night if it was an option. The performers we're highly talented and I was dancing and singing along the whole time. We also took up three art classes while at the lodge. Mosaics, drawing and watercolor... The mosaics had few options for tile colors and only square boards as the background. We were not allowed to cut the tiles however the teacher was helpful in assisting our designs and she really loves what she does her passion shines through. The drawing and watercolor classes were repetitive int the sense we didn't have a choice of what to draw and paint both we did trees. It would be nice if the drawing and watercolor painting classes change once in a awhile...so in the future if decide to attend it would be a new experience all over again. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The environment was so relaxing and I felt like I was in heaven!!! I highly recommend this resort and for the experience of a lifetime . (Also I am type A personality and didn't realize I could vacation without a planned schedule...I still planned classes however it was at a relaxed pace) my only regret is that I wish we stayed longer
Amazing first time experience with my hubby. Wish we booked for multiple nights. Went early November and enjoyed lots of the outdoor activities (mountain biking, hiking, the dock with fire pit and snores, etc) plus all the wonderful indoor amenities (spa, spiritual and wellness classes). Can't wait to go back and may go with girlfriends next time around!
A great place to escape! Went with my bff and we really enjoyed ourselves! Classes were great, services even better. But the true gem is the gardner and garden!
Spending a day at the Lodge was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and the amenities are amazing. I d especially like to thank Tiffany and Chelsea for helping out with our special requests.
My wife and I visited The Lodge at Woodloch last year for a major marriage milestone. Now, we are back and have committed to visit at least once a year. We love it because of a few reasons.
It s an escape from the hustle and bustle of the day to day. With work, shuttling kids, keeping up with the house, etc. it s nice to be able to get away. The food is outstanding. The chefs bring together a wide variety of flavors from different cuisines. The service is impeccable. They do a great job anticipating guest needs. And of course the spa and the grounds; it s a smaller property with less than 100 rooms so you don t fight through crowds.
We love being able to walk around the resort in the great robes, and even eat meals at the restaurant in them. It s a true spa resort. This picture is from our room. The wildlife roam freely on the grounds. We like coming in the Fall with the leaves falling. It s pricey but that includes your meals (not alcohol).
Spectacular all-inclusive destination spa. Wonderful employees treat you with the utmost of care without any pretensions. The latest therapies performed by skilled aestheticians. Light therapy, cbd oil massage, large float rooms, amazing whirlpools with waterfalls and outside jacuzzis. Classes galore in yoga, gardening, mindfulness and culinary arts Relaxed, beautiful and healing. Would give them 6 stars if possible.
You wouldn't expect to get a world-class massage in the middle of the woods in Eastern Pennsylvania, but that's exactly what you get. Make sure you spend some time at the outdoor jacuzzi after your massage.
I can rate this based only on the tour they gave me and my wife. It's definitely pricey but my impression is you will get the luxury you pay for. The building and rooms are nice and well maintained. The staff courteous and professional. The spa area is impressive. The grounds seem nice to walk and explore during nice weather.
I was absolutely floored by The Lodge at Woodloch. The moment we arrived, we were greeted at the gate by the most cheerful man. When we gave him our name, he saw it was our Anniversary and he was just so happy for us and so sweet. The bellman and front desk staff did the exact same thing. We were early, but they had our room ready and our luggage already in it. The classes we took, both workout classes and chakra classes, were led by phenomenal women and the food. WOW! THE FOOD! 5 Star, exceptional and creative. 100 compliments to the chef! And the service was top notch! We will definitely be going back!
After years of hearing about this place from my mom we finally decided to make it a mother-daughter trip and it was incredible. Amazing staff, great food and exciting activities... I can t wait to come back and create more relaxing memories at Woodloch!
I can t say enough about Woodloch. Where was I? And, what just happened? I walked in a ball of tension and walked out mushy and happy...clear and cared for. Amazing staff, pristine facilities, grounds and rooms and amazing and fun activities. I went alone to escape the husband and kids and CA fires...could not believe in 3 short days I m returning a new woman ready to care for my family again without losing my mind! Thank you to everyone there...
January 18 2019 -POINT - $270 / 2 persons dinner and cocktails only. Well aware of the costs for exquisite culinary meals, which we hoped for based on TA reviews. We drove 45 minutes each way, on winding small snow covered roads to support our local businesses perched in the middle of the forest. Try it If you like well appointed space, great service staff but do not really care about gourmet meals. This resort has customers from the areas of NYC, whom are one of the toughest group of experienced travelers to please. - POINT - We drank a few cocktails first which opens up your taste sensors to be more favorable towards food. -POINT - they can make average tasting food look appetizing and most of ours we could not swallow. - POINT - The staff ready and willing to replace your selection. -POINT - A place like this should offer table side Cesar Salad or learn how to make one. They served a Cesar salad mutant. My Signature Lamb, arrived raw. Oh sure I sent it back but it returned from just as raw and now slathered with a dark sweet sauce. After one bite it was so strong in flavor I could not swallow another bite. Lamb rib meat should be mild. I declined it and took home a replacement. They offer more food while we waited, at that point we lost faith in their culinary abilities. Some of the over priced drinks were not so tasty, and replaced with a smile. They screwed up a bloody mary, tasted metallic. We do not like complaining it puts a "downer" on the evening. We had fun we got full on average tasting foods, but that could have been done at a average joe's place. It is very probable the focus is on the Spa. We will continue to try new local restaurants in the area.
An outstanding place. It's a great couples retreat. The restaurant is very good and the spa is nice. We were there in the winter, which was fine but seems more like a summer place. There is a golf course which would have been nice to play, if the weather was better. I'd recommend staying at least 2 nights.
I love this place. Its definitely worth your hard earned money, I assure you. Utilize all of the amenities they have to offer and you will not be disappointed. I'll definitely make this an annual trip for special occasions. Thanks again woodloch !
We been going there for years.we use to enjoy a weekend with food and show for under 200.00. Now they charge 800.00 plus a night..crazy..to expensive. You can stay in top 5star hotels for a lot less doesn't make sense...take a cruise from NY to the islands for a week for less...beautiful hotel but they should lower price by 65percent...
An interesting place to stay. Facilities are all brand new. Rooms are very nice. Where Woodloch really wins is the grounds are surrounded by incredible nature and they leverage it fully. They also offer lots of quality live entertainment in the evening. Classes were a little too easy for my taste personally that would be my only critique. Arts and crafts was also a highlight of the trip. Jordan in the Tree Dinning room also remembered our names it was a nice to get that level of attention. It was a unique experience overall and very luxurious.
A fantastic place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. The meals are delicious with varied menus to suit all palates and dietary requirements. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly whether it is the front desk, valets, spa therapists, art teachers or activity guides. A must for all seasons.
Just visited this weekend for the first time with my best friend. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, the spa treatments (facials, massages, pedicures) and found the staff very friendly. The reason for the three stars is because we both found the food tasteless. Some dishes were even inedible. We understand the concept of serving healthy food, but healthy does not mean the taste should be sacrificed. We felt the same ingredients were used in everything during the same day, and they weren't even repurposed. For example, the same tomato and pepper mix that was on our eggs was also on our turkey panini for lunch and again in our bruschetta and pasta for dinner, thus everything tasted the same. The dinner special one night was pizza, and it was clearly topped with the vegetables from lunch, including chickpeas. (Chickpeas do NOT belong on pizza.) We debate going back because we can't imagine eating the food for three meals for two and a half days again, but will think about it for the ambience and spa treatments. The "culinary experience" the lodge boasts was just not delivered!
Went here for a spa day with my girlfriend and it was the best experience ever. Did the float pod and got a hot stone massage. Very relaxing. Ate at the tree restaurant. Food was delicious and wait staff was kind and enthusiastic. Will come here again for sure.
One could argue that kids aren't allowed by hey! that's part of my 5 stars. They know you, they cater to you and you know from the moment you pull up and walk in, that you have arrived at sanctuary. Everyone is pleasant, the rooms are beautifully clean, mattress is comfortable, down pillows mare relaxing. There is even a fresh water tap! Enough about the room, the food is OMG, the massages are incredible, the activities including meditation, yoga and a few fun activities such as sip and paint. The very last thing, and probably the most relevant is the facility itself screams luxury. I thought I would never say this but this spa is worth the price!!!
Great retreat with top notch food and spa services....I have been here on a few occasions and as always this place never disappoints.... if you get here the best time is during the week and when it is colder as you can enjoy the outdoors and the jacuzzi tub .... the services offered are great but usually get booked very fast so pre book well in advance
A wonderful place! It is a heavenly getaway and I dream about coming here all the time. I did the cooking demo with carla hall and it was divine! The spa is also sensational.
Nice accommodations but food and class selections are only mediocre. Does not compare to other all inclusive spas that I've been to. Not a great place for couples at all; best for getaway with girlfriends.
Just go. I can't say enough about my wife and I's experience. It was absolutely breathtaking. It's a SPA resort, so very lively during the day. Come 9 PM, the place is dead. Understandably. We are already planning our next trip back. Get there. You deserve it.
The lodge is second to none with all the amenities you need to relax and rejuvenate! The day package was great which allows for classes, spa, and lunch. Staying there next year!
Clean courteous service rather expensive and at the price paid for service all of the water features should have been salinated instead of chlorinated. Not what I would expect from One upscale facility. Overall a beautiful setting
This vacation was just what we needed. A nice break away from real life relaxing in quiet, reading and being pampered. The staff was great and the facility was beautiful. I just wish there was more co-ed relaxing spaces that I could have been with my wife.
