Super romantic place to stay. All of the rooms are simply lovely - and each of them is decorated differently. The variety here is very appealing, along with the entire lodge. It's a stunning venue.

We stayed in the Mary Lincoln Presidential Suite and couldn't have been happier. There is a jacuzzi, balcony, and fireplace. The decorations and furniture were beautiful. The bed was amazingly cozy with the softest blankets we've ever felt.

The service was also incredible. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a very kind, welcoming gentleman. He offered us wine right away. The next morning he also cooked us breakfast. It was so easy to relate to and converse with him.

Other amenities included a game/book/entertainment room, free and accessible soda and water, and, of course, Grant's Trail behind the lodge.

I highly recommend staying here. It was, all around, very worth it.

It was absolutely horrible! We stayed on 8/6/2016. They had booked a party from 7pm til 10 pm which was very loud and couldn't find a parking space. We couldnt park in a parking space so husband had to wait til party was over to go move the car which was after 10:30pm.The room they put us in was the Abe conference room with a fold up bed that folds up into wall. Plus no place to put bathroom stuff. The TV it took us 30 minutes to get it to work and it was way across the room in corner and it was small. The decor was very beautiful and it is great for party's and such but not as over night guest! I will never be back!

We were at the Lodge to celebrate my aunt's 80th birthday. It is a lovely place and the staff were awesome! One member of the staff told me she felt just like part of the family, as we included them in the celebration. If I lived in the area, I would gladly use the Lodge for future events!

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! I know I will be back and look forward to a stay with my husband. This will also be a great place to have a family gathering! Very clean and absolutely beautiful. Check out the trails that are in the back. Has about 12 miles worth of fantastic bike, jog or walk trails. One of the trails go through Grants Farm! Thank you for such an awesome experience.

I was at the Lodge at Grants Trail for a wedding reception. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and provided good service. The food was delicious. Most of all, the venue and the scenery surrounding the venue was beautiful. Overall, I would say The Lodge at Grants Trail was a very nice place to visit.

I wanted to take this time to thank you for the wonderful rehearsal dinner we had at the lodge. Your staff was amazing and a special thank you to Mary for hosting. The food was spectacular and the dessert chosen, strawberry sponge cake, was to die for. I think I would've had seconds and thirds. Our compliments to you kitchen staff! All in attendance expressed what great time they had and fell in love with the place. I was so happy with everything. The weather was perfect and the outdoor fire pit was appreciated. Some of us were lucky enough to see a buck frolicking in the back. I hope to use your venue in the future. I will, most definitely, recommend The Lodge to anyone!

My husband and I stayed at The Lodge in the Mary Lincoln suite and it was absolutely gorgeous! It has the most amazing jacuzzi tub that fits 2 easily. We loved the rustic decor of the Lodge which made us feel warm and cozy. But it also has state of the art amenities. I also MUST mention the most mouthwatering cookies we received for a bedtime snack. Not only did we enjoy our time at the Lodge the GM Matthew made our stay extra special by finding out our interests and also our food likes and left in our room a hand written list of local antique shops including addresses and distances along with several local restaurant choices. We loved the feel of the lodge and the complimentary breakfast we were served was 5 star. Matthew made our time at the Lodge so special. We will definitely be back and next time we are bringing the entire family.

Wow where do I begin! First of all I was visiting from California for my uncle's retirement party. They housed all his guests this past weekend. Their staff was super responsive when needed and extremely nice. The rooms are nice as well. Since we had the place booked I got to see each room and they were all decorated differently. I thought that was super cool and added to the character of the lodge. The back area has plenty space to move, groove and play games. I didn't get to visit the trail BUT for those who did during my stay, it came highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again and I will tell all my friends traveling near this area that this is the place to stay.

Fun kitschy rooms with good pillows and comfortable, though creaky, bed (Alaska Room). Fireplace in room is a very nice addition. Some rooms have balconies but they are not private which makes them less than inviting. Window curtains will let morning light in. Found a plug-in air freshener in our room which is very presumptuous given how many people have allergies and scent sensitivities, really unacceptable. Noise transmits easily into rooms and common areas are off limits if an event is occurring so that COULD make for an isolating experience if you're not a part of the party. Finally: Breakfast was terrible. I'm sorry but there's no way to be gentle about it. The hot meal was inedible so we were going to make due with cereal but were served rotten milk. This place is special but the drawbacks have really sullied the experience.

I'm an avid runner, and ran Grant's Trail every day when we lived in St Louis, but we never had a reason to stay here. Now that we've moved, this is the perfect spot! 1/10 of a mile from the trail head, great breakfast, adorable, clean rooms with fireplaces, and super friendly staff. Yes, 55 is super close, but it's not intrusive. Even my small town hubby wasn't bothered by it. We'll definitely be back!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here while visiting St. Louis, I found the Lodge last minute because we didn t want to stay right downtown it was outside of town but still close to everything we wanted to do, not far from Grants Farm. It was peaceful and relaxing and everyone is so friendly. The rooms are clean and so cozy it was like staying at the Smokey mountains. The breakfast is fresh and cooked to order which was very nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

What an incredible place. When we arrived at the lodge, we were a little concerned about the location, it is right off the freeway with plenty of road noise. However, as soon as you step inside, the noise is gone and replaced with a wonderful charm. This lodge is beautiful. Our room is exactly what we were hoping for and oh so comfortable. The location had turned out to be a plus because we are nice and close to everything. Can't wait for our next stay and Lodge at Grants Trail.
