Outstanding find! Rooms are nice size, and the bathroom / on suite is massive.
Very nice details and fixtures throughout, and the peace and views off the deck are breathtaking.
All wood / log details abound, surrounding you in a lodge setting, with all the creature comforts of home.
So looking forward to our future stays here. We found our forever hotel when in this area.
Perfection! Just a few miles from the Parkway, but feels like you're in the middle of forest. The suites are very cozy, the bed was comfy, the jacuzzi tub was relaxing, the extra large shower was a treat, the fluffy robes were heavenly and the balcony puts you in touch with nature and lets you breathe.
Terrific view and well prepared meals. I like the measured pace of the service and the attention to detail. They also make a mighty fine cocktail!
I was a little skeptical of the lodge/place because of the fire but when we arrived we were amazed of the lodge and it s surroundings. The place is beautiful and really peaceful. Perfect to enjoy the beautiful nature away from the commercialized town. They have great customer service and the lodge is really clean. Only complaint is that the beds where not really comfortable, every little movement and the bed frame makes a lot of noise.
This place is wonderful! Where do I start..... the location of the lodge was great. A few minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg but far enough away for a quiet stay. The room was very nice and clean and had fantastic views of the Smokies from our balcony. We ll definitely be back!
Outstanding, awesome, amazing!!!! Check this place out for a romantic weekend getaway. Upon check in we were greeted by the owner, a great person!!! He made check in very simple for us. He made one phone call and the lady came to the car to check us in, also a wonderful lady. They both walked us to our room and showed us everything. Upon check in the room was nicely decorated for our anniversary (halloween). When it was time to grill, there wasn't any charcoal and once again the owner came to the rescue and went and bought us some charcoal. Amazing mountain view from our balcony and also where the fire pit and grill is at. Everything was nice and clean and we were never bothered our trip!!!! The only thing heart breaking is seeing only foundations remaining from the fire in 2016. I hope they start rebuilding soon, because it's such a beautiful place.
This beauty is nestled in the mountains and it is gorgeous. The view from our room was outstanding. I loved how all the comforts of home were in the room, but it felt like we were in a cabin. There's a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, stand up shower, Jacuzzi bathtub, we had a king sized bed and a full living room with a large balcony. The sofa pulled out to a bed for the kids. The decor is great and the Cindy was amazing at answering all of our questions. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
My aunt had her wedding here and it was so awesome. The rooms are great and quite spacious. The views are amazing, too. There are lots of trails out behind the hotel that go into the Forrest and they are so fun to hike, we even saw a bear. The lodge is just a short drive from the city, but we wanted to stay at the lodge the whole time. I would love to go back!
It was a really nice experience. The staff are very friendly and respond quickly to guests needs. I loved the cookies on our bed every night. The views of the mountain are wonderful. The warm breakfasts in the morning were a really nice treat. It's quiet and I loved the firepits and drinking blankets at night time. The trail is challenging if you are not wearing hiking boots.
