A great place for casual, after work food and drinks. Atmosphere is noisy but comfortable, wait staff is attentive but not obtrusive, food is good and not terribly expensive. Worth checking out if your taste runs in this direction.

Definitely a must go if you re interested in having an excellent meal with outstanding service. I had the meatloaf and it s easily the best meatloaf I ve had at a restaurant period. Possibly the best I ve had. The roasted carrots and broccoli were on point. The Captins Dayghter IPA was great. The bread rolls ( I wanted to just keep eating them) were so tasty. The only thing that I wasn t happy with was the fact that I had to leave

My hats off to the chef Joe.
Thank you

Great service! Outdoor seating area is great!

Great service! Outdoor seating area is great!
If you re looking for a good place to eat outdoors during this cold weather, I highly recommend Iron Works.
The tented outdoor area is perfectly warmed with units on multiple sides of the tent which pump in fresh warm air.
We went for a date night but also noticed families being well accommodated.
Highly recommend. The food is delicious and decently priced.
I noticed there aren t any photos online of the outdoor seating area, so I took some.

Food was amazing!!! Service was top notch .. all was great, only issue I had and it's really just my opinion is that sitting can feel clustered. If you come with family and I'm talking about 3-4 people... Expect to feel like your sitting right next to the person over to you. But other than that this place is great!

Pretty good place to eat. The burger was delicious. It said it came with hand cut fries but they were not hand cut....these were frozen deep fried fries but all in all it was good. Drinks were tasty as well. Will go back again sometime.

I now understand why this restaurant has almost 5 stars from from over 1,000 customers. From starter to dessert was perfect. OMG, their port and steak were really good. If they say well done, it is well done. I did enjoyed every bit of it. The staffs were amazing. Will really miss this place.

Our first time at Iron Works and it was phenomenal! I didn't do much research ahead of time, it was a more upscale restaurant then I anticipated. With my two kids being a little rowdy I don't know that it was the perfect setting for us, but our waitress was attentive and quick, the food came very quickly and was fantastic, really big portion sizes, and incredibly delicious! Definitely a place I would want to visit again, but not sure that it is the best restaurant for my young children for the atmosphere, or the cost.

About Iron Works Tavern

Iron Works Tavern: A Historic Gastropub Serving Innovative American Classics

If you're looking for a unique dining experience that combines history, innovation, and classic American cuisine, look no further than Iron Works Tavern. Located in the heart of Warwick, Rhode Island, this gastropub offers a menu that is both familiar and inventive, all served in a building with deep roots in the city's industrial past.

At Iron Works Tavern, you'll find an atmosphere that is both cozy and sophisticated. The restaurant occupies a historic building that was once part of the city's thriving textile industry. Today, it has been lovingly restored to its former glory and transformed into a welcoming space where locals and visitors alike can gather for great food and drink.

But it's not just the ambiance that sets Iron Works Tavern apart - it's also the menu. While many taverns focus on traditional pub fare like burgers and fries (and there's nothing wrong with that!), Iron Works takes things to another level by offering updated versions of classic American dishes.

For example, their appetizer menu includes items like "Buffalo Cauliflower" - crispy cauliflower florets tossed in buffalo sauce with blue cheese dressing - as well as "Pork Belly Tacos" topped with pickled red onion and cilantro crema. These dishes are perfect for sharing or enjoying as a light meal on their own.

Moving on to entrees, you'll find plenty of hearty options to choose from. There are burgers (of course), but they're not your average patties - try the "Bacon Jam Burger" topped with cheddar cheese and house-made bacon jam for something truly special. Other standout dishes include "Chicken & Waffles" made with buttermilk fried chicken breast atop Belgian waffles drizzled with maple syrup; "Fish & Chips" featuring beer-battered cod served alongside hand-cut fries; or even vegetarian options like the "Impossible Burger," which looks and tastes just like beef but is made entirely from plants.

And don't forget about dessert! Iron Works offers several sweet treats to round out your meal - try their signature "Sticky Toffee Pudding," warm cake soaked in caramel sauce served with vanilla ice cream; or go for something lighter like their seasonal fruit crisp topped with whipped cream.

Of course, no gastropub would be complete without an impressive selection of drinks to wash down all those delicious eats. At Iron Works Tavern, you'll find an extensive list of craft beers (both local favorites and harder-to-find brews), creative cocktails made from scratch using fresh ingredients (try the "Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade"), plus wine by the glass or bottle if you prefer vino over hops.

Overall, if you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Warwick - one that combines history, innovation, and great food- look no further than Iron Works Tavern. With its inviting atmosphere, fresh take on classic American cuisine, and impressive drink selection, this gastropub is sure to become one of your new favorite spots in town!
