We were in town for some festivities. Was checking out the city, stopped by this place on a whim. We were nicely greeted. Bartender was friendly. Cannot comment on their drinks b/c we had beers. Otherwise, great place to hang out. Nice atmosphere, and the other patrons were friendly.
I'd never been here pre-revamp but I've heard it was quite a questionable establishment. Under the new chef it's a great stop for cheap delicious Mexican fusion. My friend and I can get stuffed on splitting a plate of nachos. The sandwiches are great too, and the fries are well seasoned. The duck tacos were delicious and refreshingly unpretentious. The drinks are good too
Since they revamped it this place is quite nice. Right off of Boylston they completely redid the menu. Lots of interesting food and cool drinks. Clean environment and friendly wait staff make it a good experience. The NACHOS ARE AWESOME with the cojita cheese....so good! Not the biggest, or the cheapest, but great. The only thing this place lost a star on was the price. A tad bit pricey, but worth it in the end.
The nachos were one of the better ones I've had in a while. Get the combo steak and chicken nachos. The meat was tasty and not dry at all. I'm a huge fan of guacamole and they make it right here. The tortillas were fresh, crunchy and delicious.
This place was great. My first dinner and drinks in Boston. Yummy drinks! Antelope tacos!?!?!?! They were the best tacos! Fresh, and freshly made hard shell taco. Very good!!!
The best part of this place is the roof top bar. Drinks and food, popular with the collage and late night crowd. You'll drink here, but it won't change your life.
If you're going to get a couple drinks and hangout with a group of friends at a rooftop bar, then I wouldn't go here. There's no music upstairs and its in this tiny cramped area, but drinks were priced well. I would've had a much better time if there was more room for us to move around and be with all my friends instead on the three in my direct vicinity.
We had a welcome reception to introduce our friends and family to the city for our wedding weekend at Rattlesnake. We rented the private room upstairs and it was absolutely perfect for our event! We had about 90 people attend and the size of the space were great. The service that the Rattlesnake provided were 5 stars and the food was good too. We spent many weeks trying to find a casual place to host friends and family coming from out of town for our wedding. The area surprisingly doesn't have much especially if you are on any kind of budget. We couldn't be happier with choosing Rattlesnake for our reception! I would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in private parties or even having dinner (I've had dinner there 4-5 times and it's always delicious).
The food was very good, and the pecan tart was amazing. Zachary was probably one of the nicest waiters I've ever had. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Boston!
