Lost of money for dinner, worst food and service , me and my wife was come there we like a car service but we didn't like food & waiters can't understand what we say we have to repeat two to three time , and after dinner we have to say please give finger bowels its very bad experience.

The best hotel of the world in 2019.really it has many places to celebrate the party's like gavava garden.. everything is available in every step of your staying time in this hotel I was so excited to saw there decoration.it is situated in lake pichhola .there is really amazing views of lake and also looks different hotels .

Forever favorite place! The sunset and the service are incomparable. Don't miss out the Ginger Ale.

Amazing hotel and restaurant - Ashish was a fantastic waiter and suggested the most delicious lamb curry meal and you must try the dark chocolate fudge cake!

It's a Leela property. Expect a Grand welcome by the staff . Everything is perfect. Staff is courteous. Do make reservations with concierge for additional services ( sight seeing etc).

The place was lovely. The food was delicious. The service they gave is also good. The beauty it gives you is just fabulous. The only thing you need here is a dslr . Because the amazing sites need amazing pics. The only disappointment is they made us wait on the main gait for almost20 minutes. Thats a really disrespectful move. The only reason for the 4 stars

One of the best properties to visit for lunch stay and enjoy the lake side view of pichola. Ordered the dal bati and rajma chawal and one of the finest taste of the traditional food I had.

The staff at Leela at Udaipur sets new standard for what good customer service should be. From the very get go, as soon as we sat in the car that was picking us up at the airport, we felt a wave of comfort hit us after a hectic day of travel.

The hotel itself is located beautifully at the edge of the lake and we couldn't be happier as we approached it on our boat. We were all set to have what was promised to be a great luxurious time at leela when my wife unexpectedly got sick.

It was then that we truly experienced how good the hospitality at Leela really was. Chef, Rupak personally made several trips to our room making sure we were eating right, he catered to our needs like family. Ankita, house manager was instrumental in getting us the medical help we needed. There was also an army of hotel staff ready to assist in any of our needs at any moment.

We were not familiar with Udaipur or India for that matter and a bit nervous about figuring things out on our own. The Leela staff however was the 2nd best thing to having around us than our own families. We cannot thank them enough for all their help.

One of the luxurious hotel of 2018, also awarded as the best Hotel #1 by tripadvisor in 2018. Includes various restaurants such as sheesh mahal, in dinning, out dinning and its a 5star hotel with experienced professionals and everything there is memorial.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED they spoiled the birthday completely.
We went to The Leela Udaipur for my husband s birthday celebration in the month of September 2020(due to pandemic there were hardly any guests) they messed up the day completely. No special arrangements for the celebrations, the room was messed up not even cleaned or arranged properly, a small pastry was server at the room without candles, in the evening all of a sudden they refused to serve the food while our guests and a child was waiting at the room. After many calls/request the restaurant guy sent the food by himself(against the reception as stated by him) but at the same time we got a call from reception (which was unfortunately been picked up by husband only) that we can not serve the food now.
At about 11:00PM they sent the food and at 11:15 I received a call saying that the last boat would be departing now so the guest have to leave the premise asap.
The room was not cleaned the next day as well till 12:00pm and since night there was no water bottle inside the room.
We pay filthy amount for a single night just to get a proper hospitality, it was even not provided by the Leela Group (udaipur).
On the top of it, the duty manager told me that it all happened because of the aura you created (for the 1st time in my life I heard any hospitality industry saying such things to the guests)

Right from the ambience to the rooms and boat ride. It's extremely beautiful. The way it's maintained, cleanliness, the greenery food everything is sooooo amazing and fresh. One won't want to go back, rather just sit and feel the Leela Atmosphere and it's Karizma.

What an amazing place and service.. the 4 days spent here was made unforgettable by the butler team, headed by Ramiz.. the birthday surprise for my son was truly unexpected.. kudos to the entire team..

Could give many more if allowed..it's a great place...all the grandeur and regalia is out of this world..the food is good...but the surroundings at Sheesh Mahal restaurant is just amazing... OUTSTANDING is the only word..

You expect Leela to be pricey and expensive , but this is next level, plating was average , food sub par . However , the setting by the lake is top notch .

One of the most peaceful resorts in Udaipur. It's just super calm, relaxing and a perfect weekend getaway for amdavadis.

We were my husband and I on the dates of march 24 until march 28 of 2016.

But in the beginning everything was wonderful, very good service, beautiful hotel.

But we had consequences, we were STOLEN.
I have evidence in my photos my husband complained several times but we were unsuccessful .... I was robbed in the room of a wedding gift that has no cash value.I still remain very disappointed .... We would not go back again.

The leela Palace Hotel is located right in the middle of the lake and looks gorgeous at night. The view from the hotel is picturesque and immensely satisfying. The food is wonderful and staff courteous. It is difficult to reach by road, hence make sure you avail their boat service to go there and back.

Every thing was good ..no doubt but food is still need to improve ....

Disappointed in customer service. I am taking my 3 sons to India for the first time in a few weeks time. I was so looking forward to our stay at the Leela Palace Udiapur. I booked three rooms by accident - I only needed two. I admit I made a mistake.
Expedia has contacted the hotel multiple times trying to get them to refund the third room that we will not be using. It was an honest mistake. I'm only human, what can I say. The hotel has responded by saying I will have to lose the $1300 that I paid for the third room despite the fact that we will not be using it. I felt this was a very disappointing response given the fact that I have fully paid for two other rooms. I understand that it is their policy, but it's not like I'm staying somewhere else.
World class hotels that I have stayed in typically have world class customer service. I cannot say that about the Leela Palace. I haven't even gotten there and I am disappointed. First impressions count.

We had dinner at sheesh mahal at leela. Beautiful 5 star experience. Would not recommend driving to the location. Difintely recommend making a reservation maybe a day or 2 in advance and taking a boat to the location. The roads were way too narrow even for a small sedan. Absolutely recommend it only thing is that sheesh mahal is only open for dinner so you might not be able to watch the day view of the lake n palace but the night view is also gorgeous.

A palace to rest and enjoy. delightful in every way. Staff so obliging. Rooms immaculate and spacious. Pool clean and water warm. Restaurant meals superb French style we had.
