Laura Roth was hired this year 2018 for temp orders. She ask for a deposit of $3000 and insure me it would not be more. But 3 months into the case nothing was done and was now charging me 750.00. I cancelled service because it was un honest lawyer she will tell you something and then add on the contract to be more money. Im ready sad that i payed her $3000 and she did not do her work. Read the contract even if is 14 sheets long they can be some hiding information.
They did not communicate with me when they needed to, and they did not reply to my communication. It was pretty baffling.

Laura has been handling a child custody case that is extremely complicated for almost two years now. We have had to be in court several times. It has not been a cheap endeavor. I obviously have had many, many charges and I have found each one to be more than fair and in many cases she under bills me. Even though she clearly spelled out what her charges were up front, she has never had a charge that is out of line. I feel Laura is emotionally vested in my situation and case and I trust her judgement. Thats not an easy thing to do when you are talking about 3 of your childrens lives. Even when I am not at my best Laura always is. She is strategic in her approach and honest with her assessments of all the situations we have encountered. She has taken the time to learn who I am as a person. I couldnt ask for better consul and guidance. She has a tenacity which I think many people underestimate her on. She isnt flashy, but I do love how opposing counsel dont see her coming. Its a huge asset if you end up in court. You might find more expensive lawyers but you wont find a better one.

I read her reviews online and chose her based on them. My 1st scheduled meeting with her she was 45 minutes late stating she was not feeling well and ran behind. At the end of the 1st consultation, she gave me the expectation of my documents being prepared in 1-2 weeks and I paid her my retainer in full. After 3 weeks had gone by and I'd not heard from her or her office, I called and emailed asking for an update. Three business days passed and no response, so I called again leaving a message with a office representative, not a voicemail. After another 3 business days passed I called again and the office representative stated Laura has not been in the office and she's the only one who can call me back to give details of when my documents will be ready. Finally after one full month had passed, my documents were prepared and ready for my approval and review. I returned the approval the next business day and was told the documents would be sent out by certified mail and email within a few days and I'd be copied on it. After 2 weeks I had not seen this receipt, so I called and left a message with an office representative along with forwarded an email to Laura and copied 3 of her staff. It was 3 business days later that I received the email receipt. The reply back from the recipient was received by her office and was forwarded to me 4 business days later. After realizing these late responses and out right actions of ignoring me were taking place, I chose to send her a demand letter. She replied back in the time requested and refunded all my retainer.
