Beautiful place and nice rooms! The buffet is the best part of this place! Friendly and professional staff.

Comfortable stay and conveniently located close to CBD!

Absolutely beautiful. The Cordis is a well earned 5 star hotel with amazing staff and an awesome traditional style chinese spa located onsite. Heated outdoor pool and spa at a balmy 27 and 38 degrees respectively is an absolute treat in the middle of winter. Food is on point as well.

For a 4.5 star rated hotel, it fell short of my expectations.

The showers didn't have the best pressure and even with the a.c. on low my room was still hot but apart from that was an amazing stay

Clean, tidy and great place to have a relax. Love the sauna, hot pool and pool. Close location to get to the heart of the city.

Wow karma what can I say, the service is over the top, we had breakfast included and the breakfast was simply marvelous! The gym and the swimming pool are absolutely fantastic, it's walking distance from most areas around Auckland where you would like to go. All in all, I cannot complain it was just one of our best stays in all of New Zealand

The rooms were decent, but the service at both restaurants was particularly awful. Plan on waiting twenty minutes to get some jam for your toast or a very rude response to inquires about local tours.

I really appreciate it and can see you have made a genuine effort to acknowledge my concerns.
Your response is an absolute reflection of putting customers first and showing appreciation to your guests.It is unfortunate that my first experience wasn't ideal but now I understand properly.

I am also an international traveller and stay in many hotels across nations but when I felt that the customer service I got wasn't the best that is why I wrote the review to raise my concerns.
Your response has redeemed my faith into your hotel that Cordis is a good organisation.I must say,the gala event was a success and we raised over $240,000 for charity for starship etc, cancer patients,etc and your catering and staff very really very friendly and nice so I have now rated you 5stars and deservingly so.
I have read your response to my concerns and have now -very willingly withdrawn my initial unhappy review,so once again,thank you for caring for me and listening to my concerns.I am happy that improvements in communications amongst all depts will be made so future customers have a pleasant experience from entry to exit.

had a company Christmas lunch at the Eight Restaurant there today. Although we made our payment for food prior to the day and all we needed to pay then was for drinks, I was charged for the food again at the counter when leaving. They insisted that they didn't receive our payment. So I had to prove that we surely paid it for 45 mins or so. It's turned out that they allocated our payment to a different company's account which was their mistake! After all mess sorted, they waived our drink charge (only about $80) for an apology. Absolutely disgraceful. We'll never come back

Lovely lunch - food amazing. Two comments re service - had to ask for drinks menu 2x and they took their time coming! Also had to ask for table to be cleared of used dishes. The table staff seemed unsure of their roles. No complaints - just comments.

Great new hotel, large rooms, beautiful open areas, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is nice.
However they charged me $45 per night to use their car park. Although the price was too high i agreed assuming that my expensive Mercedes car would be in a safe underground car park away from public access and weather.
How ever when my wife and i went out to town for a walk at night. I saw my car parked outside on the side of the road next to a public footpath. Where anyone can break in to it or damage it.
This is unacceptable especially for the amount of money they charged me for parking. If i knew my car would be treated like this i would have taking it to a private car park that is next to the hotel where it is much cheaper and at least it would be safe inside a building.

I don't care what excuse you will come up with trying to justify this. i will simply never trust you with my car again.

We've stayed here at least one or two nights per year for the last 5 or 6 years and every time has been an awesome experience. Staff are professional and friendly, facilities are excellent. pool, spa, sauna, steam room. It pays to spend that little bit extra to enhance the memories with a chuan massage, valet parking & club lounge dining.

The service here was amazing, with well informed and highly attentive staff. The hotel as a whole is well maintained, and the facility s are top grade. The location is perfect to easily get around the CBD, and even has a free shuttle bus for guests to use. I highly recommend the pool and spa facilities, they are lovely! And the food here is even better, especially the breakfast buffet.

We had an amazing 1 night stay at the Cordis to celebrate a friends birthday. We received a free upgrade to an exec suite - pure luxury.
The staff were all so friendly and helpful.
Would highly recommend!!!!!

The staff were more than happy to help out with a surprise for my Mum's birthday and everything went off without a hitch. I didn't actually stay there, but my parents loved the room, pool and breakfast

Very luxurious place. The 8 Buffet Restaurant is divine! I suggest that drinks should be included in the 98 dollars per person pricing.

The Cordis in Auckland is always a beautiful stay. Nothing is every a problem. They cater to everyone's needs. Treat yourself because you are worth it!

Close to restaurants, main shopping area and easy access to ferries and harbourside via local buses.

A little dated, but still a well known location. Good for hosting conferences.

Very nice and classy hotel. While we were there the President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee was also stays at the Langham hotel for an official state affair, which speaks to the reputation of this fine lodging choice.

The buffet here is one of a kind and it's a type of experience that you won't likely to forget. The cost for the meal is a bit pricey but you will be treated with the best cuisines in the world, all in one meal.

Shocker check-in, room wasn't tidied up after the previous occupant. Stuff like this should never happen at Cordis.

It was a breakfast briefing on a very cold morning and the heating system was not up to it.

Scones were nice. Tea choices good. Water plentiful..

Service was very friendly but ordered room service for breakfast and was only slightly warm plus breakfast was bare of any frills like chutney or sauces.

We were there for high tea to celebrate my birthday. We had a lovely time, staff were brilliant. I had a lovely surprise when our waitress presented me with a slice of cake with happy birthday on it

From an establishment of this quality, you expect those little things above and beyond, and they delivered! Exceptional service, even at the buffet breakfast. Absolutely faultless.

The midday buffet at Cords, Auckland is not expensive, and there are a wide variety of Chinese dim sum, Japanese sushi, fish, Mediterranean salad, Italian food, a variety of Indian food, and a variety of seafood such as oysters. Prawns, it is worth mentioning that there are a lot of fresh fish and meat to choose to make teppanyaki cooked and cooked, and the variety of food can not be recorded one by one. The last one is the dessert, the style is beautiful and the dessert people must not miss it.

Was only visiting a friend who was staying but what a lovely place!

Superb quality and Exelent service, 5 stars is not enough.
