The service was extremely slow, we had to wait for almost an hour till they brought our food. When waiting for the dessert it was just as slow. The food wasn t worth the wait as my Langford burger was too salty.

The Langford Inn is a reliable place to eat, has an extensive and often interesting menu and serves good food. Not quite up to the best in the area and the service can be a bit mixed at times. The beer and cider selection is also not as varied as other pubs in the area. Food prices are reasonable rather than fantastic value but overall I'd recommend as an evening out.

Dropped in for a late lunch after a flight back from Spain. The meal and bar staff were really great and made for a relaxing and much welcome meal which was lovely. The kids portions were nearly as big as ours!

The reason we went here was because it was recommended but over a year ago so and I believe it has changed hands since then but not for the better. The website is deceiving because it hasn't been updated with the new owners. I had to find somebody to show us to our table which took several minutes. We had to wait 20 minutes for drinks and best part of an hour for food and when our plates were cleared we were not asked if we wanted dessert which meant I had to go and find someone. Had it just been myself and my partner we would have left at that point but I did not want my children disappointed. The staff were rude and had no idea how to treat customers. One girl was nice enough but very forgetful . The food was very nice but will not be going back because of the lack of service. Very disappointing !

Went for a family christmas meal as a party of nine. Stuck to the main/budget menu and food was good, hot and, in spite of them being bus, was served quickly. Friendly, helpful waiting staff. Out of the way with an inadequate car park but there was plenty of room on the road. All in all a pleasant meal. Will definitely visit again.

Three years ago I had my Graduation meal here and had incredible food in an incredible pub. Returning here tonight I was bitterly disappointed. No pride in presentation or flavour of food and the service was just as bad. We were informed after we had ordered (40 minutes after being seated) that our Tiger Prawn starters were no longer available, yet they still appeared on our bill later. The alternative of Baked Camembert came out as a congealed slab served with what I can only assume was a slice of wholemeal Hovis and the "Rare" steak was as tough as an old tyre, not to mention the fact that it VERY well done. Such a shame, a once great pub ruined.

Not a good one, I asked if three was good Wi-Fi was told it was it was only recently updated, but all I could do was send and receive emails, couldn't even check the weather. I wasn't offered any concession or compensation..I was a cyclist needing to map my next day and book accommodation none could be done. I've never put a bad review on before but I am very unhappy it wasn't cheap.

Food not great - rubbery lamb burger and burned crumble. Hopefully this was a one off, but have heard similar reports from others. Having said that, the pub is spacious and attractive and the beer is good.

Very highly recommended.

Very highly recommended.
Pub: Lovely food, handmade, large portions but not too big, food was definitely worth the price. Large outdoor area, plenty of room inside. Decent range of drinks, cold enough, draft was tad pricey but nice. Pool table, a nice lazing room.
B&B: Beds were large and comfortable, rooms were big, sizeable bathroom. Large TV, jacuuzi bath, shower, large floor fan (perfect for this weather), hot drink facilities, plenty of towels and toiletries.
Free but secure WIFI all over. No complaints to be had, time enjoyed by all 6 of us.

Could be a great venue but let down by a general shabby and unclean environment.
Food was so so, but a new chef is due to change things.
Toilets (ladies) we're quite funky apparently with a nice touch of real flannels to dry one's hands.
Parking is limited but free.

Staying away with work for a week and very pleased with all aspects of both the accommodation and the restaurant. The food is very good and the positions are more than adequate. The staff are friendly welcoming and always happy to help. The room are lovely and very well equipped. I have stayed away with work on numerous occasions and I am pleased to say that this is one of the best I have ever stayed with. 5 stars all round. If you are near by and need somewhere to eat/drink/sleep. It is not to be missed. Good work guys. Would suggest to everyone

Sunday Lunch - food was ok - once it arrived , but, lethargic and myopic undertrained bumbling waiters!
About 20 customers in the dining area between 4 staff - and they couldn't cope - had the pedestrian pace been any slower, we would have been there for dinner instead
Not just us, we had eaten and were ready to go before neighbouring table got anything to eat
Management need to get a grip
What was once a highly rated pub has taken a nose dive

I stopped during a long cold, wet, bicycle ride with a friend. They were only just opening but they were very welcoming. We had coffees and deserts. I had the sharing size chocolate sundae to myself. It was excellent and fueled me for the ride home. The pub was warm and cosy despite that fact that we were the only people there. I didn't want to leave...

An excellent and typical "Inn" exactly what it says it is. Great quality rooms very good quality for an Inn and the pub itself is in a great location to see some of the country and is kept traditional which is great.
The service was second to none the staff were lovely and the landlord was happy to help us out in a tough situation; giving us a lift to a neighbouring pub up the road where a friend had booked a table for dinner, when it was impossible to get a taxi. Told us all about the area and was more than happy to take us, you can't get more friendly.
The breakfast was great the full English was a 'real' full English fry up that really hit the SPOT, if your a proper fry up sort of person it's just up your street. There were also cereals yoghurt breads and more lined up for breakfast, what a great stay we had here.
If we're coming to stay by our friends again we will most likely be looking here for accommodation due to the ease, traditional English Inn expectations and ability to recognise and value their customers.

We stayed here for two nights after Christmas, Friday and Saturday whilst visiting family. On first sight of the room was very pleased, however disappointed at only being provided with four small milks for the first day and morning. On the second day on our return at about 10.20pm discovered we now only had two tea bags and when I went to the pub to find someone, it was already closed. We did manage to get some more tea and milk, and then on return to the room went into the bathroom and the towels from the morning had been taken away but only replaced with one set so we had to share a towel in the morning. The shower was fantastic, I could have sat under it all day and the bed was relatively comfortable. There was a light in the ceiling and other lights which were quite bright and on opening the blind a little discovered the windowsill was covered in dead flies and moths which must have been there for some time. If this was Four In A Bed would have been seriously downgraded. Wouldn't stop me staying here again but I would double check things.

Accommodation comfortable and handy for Langford vet school. One room had a broken toilet and dodgy electronic key card. No hot breakfast as grill broken and slightly odd buffet selection. My pint of Butcombe cloudy but tasted OK. The location was ideal for us but this place has the potential to do a lot better.

Stayed the night when roads blocked with snow near Bristol airport, superb hospitality in a small country inn with accomodation. Excellent meal in the evening, lovely en-suite room, spotlessly clean, well furnished and comfortable bed for the night with a first class breakfast

We stayed here to attend my Brother-in-law wedding as their hotel couldn't accommodate me and my family of 5, where as the Langford Inn was amazing. A great room. So accommodating. Staff are great, friendly and very welcoming. They are happy to help. My children settled really well, beds are very comfortable. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone!

Went for a Sunday Roast, big portions, plenty of meat, roast potatoes were excellent. Service was good and some friendly locals at the bar. Place feels it just needs a bit of love and the lighting sorted, maybe switch off the TV too!
