The Landings at Chandler Crossings Review

I have recently moved into an apartment at the landing . The staff was very helpful with accommodating me with a room within a apartment building under short notice. I love the fact that there is always some type of activity to partake during the week.

I lived here 8 months. The apartments are very comforting and the staff is really helpful.

Great experience working in the office with Absalon. Always has the answers to your questions

This place definitely has its ups and downs. It's a great space for the price, however. If you ever need help with anything talk to Absalon in the office. He's always been a great help to me for whatever I need.

I've been living here a year and it has been amazing! They are so helpful and quick with any problems we may have.

So Katy, Sydney, Aaliyah are great people and should get raise!!

I called the office today to get more information about living at the landings and talked with Mary. She was super nice and even started my application for me! Brianna called me the next day to follow up. I feel so welcomed! I'm so excited to live there.

For all of the dog owner in landings please make sure you have close the dog park gate when you leaving or enter. We got 4 dogs were having fun in the dog park just now. And a couple with a dog passing by and try to enter the dog park by side dog however, they have open the gate but they didn t enter and all of dog runs out. And they just standing there.
Luckily, my dog got caught by one of my friends. Mines is a husky, which you know should NEVER OFF LEASH. We have stay together almost two years. The moment that I thought I would never catch her I was cry.
Please don t do that to other people. If you are trying to have fun then please do it the right way.

There has been quite a few break ins lately around this area as far as reported but Landings has been survived. I guess the security check at the gate definitely plays a role on keeping unusual stuffs out. S/o to the guy at the door he s always friendly and stepping all the way out and checking every single car after dark. I locked myself out once at midnight and freaked out and he helped out timely. Don t have a lot experience with the office people but good service with the door guy for sure.

Initially, my friend and I decided to stay here because of the great price however we are currently very satisfied with more than just the price! The staff and amenities are all great as well we discovered. We got the spartan plan so the appliances are a little bit older but still amazing for its price. Although it's a little bit further from campus the included bus pass and direct bus route definitely make up for the distance. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable off campus living.

I love the cordiality of Chris, Sydney and Kate from the leasing office. They are awesome! They are always at you service. I don't have any complains about the custumer service from them.

Maintenance employees are amazing. Especially Chris and Dave. I am having a get together this weekend and I only had 1 oven rack. I stopped up by the maintenance shed. Asked the guys if I was able to get another one because I have a lot of cooking to do and let me tell you they located one in less than 3 minutes. These guys never let me down. I m very pleased to call this place home!!!

5 stars, just for Katy W. She has all the answers you need and a great personality to match. She's kind and attentive and doesn't talk to you like some corporate robot. Thank you :)

Super awesome place at a great price. Coming from Capitol Villa, I'm saving over $300. Katie was very helpful with setting everything up. Very excited to live here next semester.

I ve never had any real problems living here and I ve been here 4 years. Minor hiccups like most apartment complexes, but overall, I m happy with my experience! And Katy is awesome!

The apartments are very nice and the new management is helpful. The Clubhouse office is a welcoming environment and the employees willingly service those who live here. Today I met with Absalon in the office and he made resigning my lease quick and stress free!

Just got a tour at The Landings and I wanted to write a review about my experience! I had a great tour of the place from Mary, she was very informative, enthusiastic, and helpful. I was also greeted by each staff member I cam across while I was in the building, it was a very welcoming environment!

The best part of this community is the very helpful staff. Absalon is my favorite associate to get advice and help from in the office

I think Landings has a good bathroom which has a significant table you can put all your makeup products. And then, if you have any problems, you can always find Katy, who works in the leasing office, to figure out for you.

Sydney is awesome!! Chris gave us some free pizza!!

Horrible! They overcharge for absolutely everything it is ridiculous! They changed companies and you don't have a choice to go through consumers energy anymore you have to use the service they chose which they charge you whatever the hell they want! Very inaccurate!

The staff is always very nice with me. The leasing agents Katie and Chris are always helpful and host fun resident events. Great rent prices as well

Absalon is hard working, friendly, and a very good people person. He is always polite and tries to be as helpful as possible. Also Joe and Victor the maintenance guys were very quick and curious when they got my air back up and running.

The Landings at Chandler crossings has an amazing set of staff. They are very helpful and warming. The apartment complex is perfect for a college student or young adult. There's a bus stop that comes to the apartment, the complex is dog friendly (it even has a dog park), and you get your own bathroom. I am definitely enjoying my stay here!

Called the office today with questions about moving in I spoke with Kallie she was very informative and well spoken and answered all my questions very pleasant experience.

Parents beware, I co-signed for my child for one school year but, the entire length of time she staying at this location I was responsible for. That was not the problem. My child lease was for May - June the following year, but she could not get out the lease until that September. There lease was for a school year not a 12 month lease.

Also, I was not informed of payments owed, It was placed on my credit reported. I hope that a parent would have informed me of The Landing methods. So I am informing Parents, please beware of the contract that you have notary and add you addendum's, don't let them (management) move just any person into your child room.

In addition, once the gate was broken and they passed that charged to my child and the rest of the residents on the complex. So please make sure that you advocate for your child.

The Landings at Chandler Crossings is one of the best off campus apartment complexes. The staff members are always so friendly and willing to help in any way they can, especially Brandon! Aside from the great staff, The Landings is affordable and offers numerous amenities such as access to the workout facilities, tennis court, basketball court, private study rooms and even a dog park!! I am a current student at Michigan State and The Landings makes it so easy to get to campus, by providing CATA bus transportation. I could not be more pleased with my experience at The Landings at Chandler Crossings.

The Landings is an excellent place to stay, wonderful services at all times. Brandon Odell even lent me some copy paper for an assignment one time.

The Landings is an amazing place to live !!! Their staff do an exceptional job at providing an answer to any questions you have about your apartment . The community is kept very clean and it s a great experience so far ask for Absalon Johnson , he was very helpful from the time I start considering the apartment til now as I ve been here for a few months and wouldn t have picked another place to leave.

Awful management, check-in takes 4 hours. Apartments are dirty and appliances are damaged. Take pictutes of everything when you move in or else they'll fine you for damages that already existed. Maitanence takes forever to fix anything and doesn't even fix it correctly. THERE ARE 11 SPEED BUMPS all of which are huge and mess up your car. THEY DON'T PLOW THE PARKING LOT. PLEASE Don't live here.

I had a wonderful experience with Mary she was super repsectful and showed me the ins and outs of the complex. She made me feel welcomed immediately and made me more interested in making the landings my future home.

Excellent service every time I go to the front office! The environment within the staff is great. I love my restroom and room space and the apartment is good for the price they ask for.

I enjoy the Landings at chandler crossing. The area is really nice and such a great location. I have the older model room. A Spartan and it was in great shape when I moved it. The only this was a leak in with the sink but I put in a order for someone to fix t and they came right away. I love the pools and how you can use the pools from the other two chandler landings. The 24 hour gym is really nice too! Oh and the tanning beds! I make use of the study room because it s a nice place to relax and do work and they are next to free printing. Just bring your own paper. The one thing I could say that s stopping them from having a 5 star is the fact that when you call the main place to ask for help or if you have a question, you could get a really nice person or a person that messes up everything and you have to call again. I usually get a nice person but I have had a couple of bad experiences with people that just didn t know what they were doing. Overall a really great place and I m enjoying it a lot.

Live somewhere else if you have the choice.
The worst management I have ever experienced at any business. They have changed managment 3 times in the first year of my lease. They will not fix your maintenance issues for weeks (or in my case 7 weeks for a working microwave) I have received 3 bills saying that i have not paid my rent. EVEN after I sublet my apartment. They lost my payment once too. They are the least reliable people that you could imagine. If you have a choice to live somewhere live right up the road at abbott place, it's a better bet if you're going to be so far off campus. There are shootings and robberies that the community ignores and doesn't even inform their residents of. You're so far off campus, and you're only getting your own bathroom to pay the same for what someone on campus would be paying. It's total BS. I WISH I hadn't signed a lease for another year. I fully regret it.

The landings has been one of the best apartment living experiences I ve ever had. It s been a great place to live and the leasing consultant Logan Mussell single handedly made the signing and move in process so easy. The landings have great employees that will take care of any concerns and accommodations that you need. They even have a dog park where you can see all the cute pups. If you re looking for a place in East Lansing the Landings is the place to be!

They charged me for rent when I stopped living there a year ago and it's been 4 months and I still haven't gotten a refund back yet. I've ben given the run around this entire time and am considering going to small claims court.

The leasing office is great! Especially because when I come in, Absalon Johnson tends to my every need for my apartment.

I have been in The Landings since the last year and renewed my lease for this year as well. It is the best place to stay in East Lansing. The service, the staff and the facilities are really good and the rates are very reasonable. I recommend all my friends to stay here.

Seth Fillar - Excluding minor inconveniences, the landings has been very pleasant to live at. Spacious room, private bathrooms, lackluster kitchen area. Despite the distance from campus, it has been a pleasant area to live.

The Landings is a great place to live. The location is great, you are given a free bus pass for carless people in need of transportation, and whenever you have a problem staff and maintenance are very responsive

Update: They did not look into my case. $170 down the drain.

I lived at the Landings for 1.5 years and it was an ok experience, until the very end of my lease. I decided to end my lease early so before I can do that they have to inspect the room. I moved out a week before they did inspections and a small amount of dust accumulated in the room. So they decided to charge me $170 for DUST. That s just so ridiculous! They will charge you a cleaning fee and they won t even clean it. I m not letting my coins go to waste! The Landings will find any way possible to squeeze every single coin out of your pockets. It s literally a pandemic and they want to charge me for DUST?! Are you serious. And so, I m trying to dispute the charges right now but the assistant manager is telling me that there s nothing she can do. Clearly, the dust is coming from the air systems at the apartment and it s not my fault the dust accumulated after I moved out. I wish I never signed a lease with them. If you can, PLEASE move somewhere else. Don t waste your money at the landings. They also charge a $50 standard clean up for all their residents after moving out but they don t even clean the apartments. I have seen so many people say that their entire apartments was filthy when they first arrived. So WARNING just take your coins else where. Thanks for listening!

Great apartment complex! So many amenities you'll never be bored! Spacious rooms and I love how everyone has their own bathroom!

The office is extremely helpful when you talk to them and the maintenance staff is quick to respond to requests. The staff is super friendly and get to know you as a person!

Front desk is always helpful and available. They send you a message when you get your packages. It is far from campus so you will need a car but the bus stop is right in front of the apt complex so that definitely helps. However the gym is not too big but also not very busy so it s good for people who work out a lot like myself. You also have access to other gyms and club houses in the other chandler buildings just incase you wanted. Price is fair among other apartments.

I have lived here for almost three years and it has been a great experience. Brandon at the office is super nice and helpful, always willing to help. Also Martin at service is great and makes sure your service requests are completed promptly and to the highest standards! Going back to Florida in June, thank you The Landings!

Bailey was always really helpful with my leasing and Little stuff I needed around my apartment

Yes, the apartment is fully furnished, which was extremely helpful when we moved in. However, management was not helpful when it came to problems with our apartment. The communication was slow because management didn t talk to each other and we would have to tell our story every week to a new manager because no one communicated with each other. Maintenance would tell us our fridge was fixed and it would break within a week of them fixing it . This happened three times before we called management every day for a week until they fixed it with a new fridge. We weren t allowed to keep patio furniture on our balcony we paid for. They are money hungry. The garbage compacter was full (which is the only garbage bin in the complex for 22 buildings) so we put our garbage on the ground and they went through our garbage to charge us $50 because it was on the ground. Now I thankfully live at a different complex, which I love, and I just received for a $390 bill for damages and touch ups in our apartment. We left the apartment clean except for dust and we were charged heavy cleaning. I have attempted to call every number listed on the internet and they either can t take new messages or the numbers aren t connected. DO NOT LIVE HERE IT WAS AN OVERLY STRESSED YEAR.

I just moved into the Landings almost 3 months ago and so far my experience has been amazing. The staff is very helpful, attentive and friendly whenever I need something or have an issue and come into the office! Very affordable place if you re looking for a furnished apartment with an individual bed and bath! Looking for an apartment for next Fall? Sign with them! They have 1-4 bedroom apartments!

This place is wonderful ! I talked with a girl named Mary and she was super nice and helpful! She answered all my questions and concerns! Really liked the experience and will be recommending this place to all my friends!

I've been having countless problem after problem with the manager Matt Niven and it seems as though he never knows the answers to any of my questions regarding the issues I have with my apartement lease or anything else dealing with my apartment for that matter. His communication is very bad and I don't feel that he is doing an effective job as the manager here. I've noticed that things don't get communicated to everyone else by him if theres an issue and when it can later be brought to his attention he acts as if he knew nothing of the situation or as if he just doesn't know how to handle it at all. I AM SICK OF GOING INTO THAT OFFICE BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THE WASNT PROPERLY COMMUNICATED TO THE REST OF THE TEAM I will say that the team here is more helpful than he is in many ways. I've come to Absalon Johnson on many occasions and was able to get some type of reassurance the my problems would get fixed instead of a dumb look and 'I don't know" from Matt.

People in the office were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Kallie answered all my questions with a smile.

I love living at The Landings! I have lived here for a year now and renewed my lease to live here for another year. The free tanning and 24 hours gym are my favorite parts because it saved me a lot of money last year. I'd recommend living here to everyone who needs an apartment in the East Lansing area, its affordable and very accommodating!

Absalon is very helpful! He is the best person in the office, and helps with all my office needs. From small things like picking up a package to future leasing needs. I highly Absalon for all your office needs, he ll get the job done! He s the best ever!!!
