The Lakes Golf and Country Club Review

It's hard to criticize anything about this place. Everything was perfect!

Beautiful place and delicious dinner. We were there for a banquet.

Great staff. Eddy Kline is in the hall of fame in Youngstown.

My son is taking swim lessons there. They have a great outdoor pool when you can swim at a safe distance from others. They seem to be taking necessary precautions with covid.

My non-profit organization has a fund raiser here. The staff are wonderful to work with, the food is great tasting and plentiful. Beautiful location.

Excellent variety in menu, while also keeping the resturant prim and proper. I felt welcomed by the server during my first visit. Food quality goes above and beyond as well. I would highly recommend to all

Great. The lawns are well kept land scape is amazing. And the Dive team is great! Would come over and over. Just amazing.

Beautiful setting to celebrate a wonderful couple. Not sure what the course is like but the venue is great and the service staff is very attentive.

Attended a membership reception- room was decorated nicely & brunch food was delicious.

So glad we joined. It s been an amazing golf season and I love coming here for a quick round or a nice social meet-up. Thank you for this great club!

The facility is beauitful, food that was catered wasn't great!

I was at its restaurant only, it's tidy & quiet, lots of free parking, most things look okay, just not as much Wow factors as expected as a country club.

Designed by PGA pro Ed Sneed, the lakes is a stiff test of golf from the tips. You can take a virtual tour of the course from the website and get a great view of clubhouse and golf course. It is very enjoyable from the appropriate tees. I highly recommend it.

Great Club. Great Service. Great Family Experience.

I have not golfed here, but have been to the clubhouse (which has a very nice look and feel to it) for several events. The events have always been well executed and the staff is friendly and professional.

Delicious, plentiful Easter Sunday brunch, beautiful clubhouse surrounding, lots of parking...even valet. Excellent professional services. An all around winner!

Very nice club with great food options! Golf course is always kept up to the best quality. Pools are very excellent. All facilities are very nice and always well kept.

I'm giving 3 stars because of the bartender, food was good.

Venue was beautiful fish and chicken was dry green beans under cooked potatoes lacking in flavor was better when we did tasting

Work Christmas party... It was terrible to get to at night... No lighting, GPS could not pick it up exactly. To top it all off the wait staff , specifically the bartender was terrible! Absolutely no personality, he seemed angry to be there and made us feel like we were troubling him.

My son belongs to the Lakes, and I have played the front nine and have been at the pool. The course is beautiful and lush, and the pool is so nice. What also impressed me is the fact that there are so many golf clothes for women. Usually, we get a corner of the clubhouse with a few options. The Lakes has an abundance of beautiful women s golf clothes. So impressed!

Very nice course with great amenities and staff. The course was in great shape and the greens held approach shots well.

The fishing isn't that good, no big bass just alot of small ones

Challenging course with everything you would expect from a private club. Friendly folks and an extensive menu for your pre/post round. Nicely maintained wide fairways with undulating, off the stimp fast greens. All in all a fun test for a mid- handicapper. Lots of water but no surprises on most shots. Definitely recommended.

Great private golf course. If you're not a member you have to know a member and even then the greens fees are over $100 for 18 and a cart.

That's the only reason it gets 4 stars, not really worth the cost with all the other great public courses around, but this course is definitely in immaculate shape and has a nice clubhouse and locker room.

It is a fine challenging golf course, a real treat.
