What a wonderful resort. Excellent views. Most lifts are express. Not too crowded even on Christmas.

Great place to go skiing. Legs will get a workout here, lots of long runs. Backside is the place to go on this mountain, the front can get kinda icy

Beautiful mountain but my review is a bit skewed. We got 8 inches of fresh snow so I can't speak for how it is at other times.

Good resort but quite a drag from Banff, for my money Sunshine is the better choice.

I enjoy Lake Louise. This mountain has lots of terrain and good back country if you're willing to hike for a while. But the snow conditions I've experienced have never been amazing. Bad timing with mother nature I guess...staff and everyone are great tho!!! Always like seeing mike at the bottom of the front of the mountain . You go mike!!

My favourite mountain. Great conditions and amazing trails.

World class resort, main lodge is a bit small for the heavy crowds but other challets are around the moutain.

lake louise is the best near Calgary
better than sunshine and norqway. lots of terrain because of the back side and it has good snow all the time. try putting your kids in the lake Louise ski club where they could race or freestyle

Louise has always been one of my favorite ski escapes! They have everything you could need from shops to repairs to restaurants to family-friendly activities. Highly recommended by this gal!

Great ski resort, probably the best in Canada! Very well organized. Ski lifts are operated by young people only - 25 years old and younger. When there is a queue always comes a guy and makes the order, so you don t wait more than a few minutes for the lift. Guys are very friendly and you feel always relaxed. Strongly recommend this place!

Views for days! Ski here on a bluebird day if you can. Also plenty of great terrain for every ability and 360 degrees of exposure ensure quality snow conditions.

The ropeway that transported coal and pulled people 80 years ago has evolved into the current tourist attractions.

I have been here 7 times this year and love it more every time. The view from the top of the gondola impresses my every time, the staff here are great and the resort/log cabin feel makes this feel like a true Canadian experience! Highly recommend this during any season!

My favourite hill in Alberta. I've been coming to this hill since 2013, this season (18/19) I could finally afford to buy myself a seasons pass here. And I've already gone 12 times to Lake Louise, it's expensive but definitely worth it. Chute's to the right between Paradise and Top of the World are steep, technical and super fun to ride. All of the runs off the Summit Platter, like Whitehorn, are amazing for steep off-piste skiing. Backside gets quite a bit of flat light, but it's manageable.

Skied for one day in early season. Advertised runs were open when they weren't, and others were too weedy to ski well. Green and blue runs were fine though. Good for families

This is a great place to ride a gondola to see bears.

Love this place. Might be further than Banff but I am sure it's almost quicker to get on a lift. Parking is great and close. Our Family's choice for sure.

Rated #3 for a reason! I can always find fresh snow at this hill. Plenty of hidden gems if you know where to look

I think I found my favourite ski hill. Loved the varied runs and facilities. The kids skied some very advanced runs and loved it. I will definitely be back. We used our Ontario ikon passes which was a bonus.

Great for having fun, but the food court could be better.

Excellent stay except for quality of food versus pricing.
I understand prices will be higher, but to serve garlic bread that was rock hard? And they were hand serving it. They were well aware of how hard it was. They served it anyways.
We had multiple orders in our group. All orders were rock hard.
It was obviously prepped a few days before and then left out to go stale.
How do you expect to be world class when this is what your visitors experience?

I went via a package with Banff Adventures and was supposed to include the gondola ride and lunch buffet. The lunch was really bad. Like terrible food. We were able to purchase other food that wasn't half bad. The gondola that actually goes all the way to the top was out of service and due to he tour bus that areoved right after me but the people literally ran ahead of us made the line so long that we decided not to go up and left. So it was a total waste of money.

I'm a first time season pass Holder, have been having a great time on the mountain so far this year. Staff in all departments have been great. Repair shop has overnight service on weekends which was so convenient this past weekend when I needed a tune. Worth the extra little drive from Calgary.

Great hill surrounded by a great environment. I went the first day of opening and had no complaints!

Went during the summer and took a ride up the chairlift. Was a pretty awesome view even though we didn't get to go all the way up to the top (the connector chair wasn't running yet and I think it may only operate during ski season). You can see Lake Louise and barely make out the Chateau from up there. There are a few restaurants there that were open and we ended up hanging out on the big deck at the Bear's Den Smokehouse since they were having a small beer festival! Delicious food and drinks!

This was THE place to spend the day skiing and chilling on the slopes. Cheaper than the other big resorts, and a massive variety makes it an incredible ski resort.

I'm not very good at skiing but it was a good challenge for me. Snow tubing was also pretty fun

Great mountain for snowboarding, as well as skiing, little flat terrain.

Best 2 days of skiing without any new snow. We had great new year snow. It was busy on the front side but was easy you find open runs in the back.

Tow lift to summit. Cheap. Pathetic. The Big3 are VERY overrated. Almost any resort in the Colorado Rockies is better. Many there are cheaper, too, for those without passes.

What a pleasure, another Canadian gem where if you like mountains and snow a must do while you're in the area. Plenty of runs and stops along the resort, also great for all abilities.

Love Lake Louise!! Plenty of runs for all ability levels and excellent terrain parks for this adventurous. We frequent the hill as a family and love every visit. Great snow and plenty of runs to keep you going all day. Great lodge and shops with expensive but good quality food. Love this hill.

incredible at all times of the year, no words to describe.... Not expensive and super fun but snowshoes and indispensable if you want to walk in the lake that is frozen and covered with snow in winter.

Superb facilities, friendly staff. Excellent restaurants. We had lots of fun on the runs which are quite long, we will definitely be back

Beautiful place for skiing. Food is ok but its hard to find a spot to sit and eat in Winters.

Beautiful ski resort. Great runs and multiple areas of 360 views of the mountain ranges. One of my favorite resorts by far. A lot of steep runs. Enjoyed how steep some were even when they were groomers. Here s a photo of the nachos we got upstairs in the lodge. Highly recommend.

Great skiing, amazing and friendly staff, and the rental shop was awesome. They even stored our shoes in the rental boot rack. when we rented ski boots. Unparalleled!

I snowboarded in Lake Louise for 5 days, it was great, they had super friendly Australian/canadian staff.
Also, you have no idea how big lake louis is, it's absolutely huge. Further, in one day, there was powder between trees, ice and groomed trails!!!! Pretty much they have everything you could imagine. take a good at the map and join their free tour. I would definitely go back.

Less crowded and wider ski trails than Sunshine Village.

I love lake Louis because of how many greens they have that's one of the best things about this ski resort.

Great terrain variety. Worth the extra drive time if conditions are good. The front side and Larch areas have extensive beginner and intermediate terrain. Expert skiers will love the back bowls.

Great place to enjoy nature and also a chance to see some wild life in action! We got to see a mama bear and her cub! The open gondola ride is so much fun and the views are amazing, especially on your way down as you get to see lake Louise!! The wildlife museum at the top is so informative and interesting,, you get to learn so many facts about different animals, birds and fish that live in the Rockies. Not to forget the restaurant Whitehorn Bistro ,, has a variety of reasonably priced meals and the patio is amazing! You get to enjoy your meal or simply a cup of tea or coffee while enjoying the beautiful scenery around you. The staff all over the resort are friendly and they ll be happy to assist you in any way! Try to get the coupons that give u 5$ off each ticket (max of 4 people per coupon) we got ours from the hotel which we stayed at. They have a big parking lot so you won t have to worry about parking your car (free of charge).

Some of the best and most scenic skiing in the world. The back bowls are spectacular on powder days. Lovely.
