Always a great place to go skiing or snowboarding. The price has gone up quite a bit this year, but that seems to be the case for most of them.

Louise has fantastic views and some really great tree runs. The chairlifts are fast and spread out so the lines are never too long. The restauranta are decent albeit a little expensive.

All said its a great place to go for beginner or advanced, family or adults.

The gondola during the summer is OK, it does need a little updating. The restaurants are all at the bottom of the hill and the views at the top are very nice but be prepared to walk. Anyone that may need help will find it a bit of a challenge. And it is a tad pricey for what you get. Take a zoom lens to be able to take a decent photo of Lake Louise which you can see from their observation deck off to the side of the chairlift. And you don't go to the peak of Lake Louise ski hill.

One of my favorite hills in western Canada. Great variety of runs. Food is good but it is slightly expensive, like every other ski resort. Lots of parking, overflow is 4km down the road but I've never had to use them. There is a slight bottle neck on the backside where everyone has to ski to, to get off the back side.

This place is not bad, but I didn't think it had a lot of variety in terms of runs. Also it's pretty far away from neighboring towns so thug pretty much have to live there to have a short morning commute to skiing

Go to Lake Louise if you like waiting in lines and slow chair lifts. Yes it has better terrain than Sunshine but all the best terrain is accessed by slow chairs or T-bar (Poma) and has 30+ min waits on powder days with no staff managing the lines to Paradise or Whitehorn, so it s a free for all with everyone cutting in line - happens all the times and I have season passes multiple years at LL. I decided on the last powder day at LL that I will never go to this resort again. You spend more time in line than hitting fresh pow. Do yourself a favour and drive further to one of the B.C. resorts or just go to Sunshine - I never wait in lines at Sunshine and I have had a season pass there for 2 years and go almost every weekend (minus Christmas holidays). Only catch with Sunshine is you got to go early before the parking lot fills up...

Beautiful day out on the slopes! Worth the drive because when you arrive you can go right up the lifts! A lot steeper than sunshine so a tough day for a skier if you were out yesterday for the first time. But heaps of runs you can switch between.
Good food and atmosphere in the lodge for food or drinks after you re done for the day too :)
One day buddy pass was $93

The best mountain close to Banff, possibly the best in Canada. Enough lifts to handle huge crowds, and even better on the backside of the mountain. Beginners should stick to the front side, but there's nowhere you can't get down from if you're a green run person. For higher skills, this place offers lots of challenge.

One of Canada's best Ski hills. History, access to Skoki Lodge, lots of terrain choices, well-marked trails, good patroller presence, food choices are broad and affordable. Love the new mid-mountain restaurant for when you just want a decent, healthy, tasty sit-down meal. The regular lodge Chow is reasonable too. Lifties are always friendly, and helpful. Snowmaking capabilities on the front side mean you won't be scraping rocks on the sparser days. Grooming means there is lots of early morning corduroy, and the steeps on the backside are never boring.

Lake Louise provides a variety of terrain in abundance but alas, snow conditions can leave you wanting (especially for the first couple of months of the season). Beware the rocks and branches in early season and be prepared to take home 'battle scars' on those well manicured bases. However, mid season and spring riding is some of the best skiing I've experienced. When the 'lake' gets a dump, it's world class skiing in bowls, chutes, glades, natural half pipes, and everything in between.

The food options are well diversified and are sure to tickle your taste buds whether your mowing down a succulent burger or taking in the ramen options, all at reasonable prices. Having said that, nothing beats a beer out on the resort's many patio options and the stellar views they afford.

Overall, a great ski resort to help those Alberta winter months click away a little more pleasantly.

GREAT FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

GREAT FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

My friends and I decided to take a trip out on Boxing Day. It was fantastic the hill was quiet and was able to get on the chairlifts with ease.

My favourite part of the day was going into the main lodge for some food and beers. Great atmosphere and excellent service

Well-organized hill, friendly staff, beautiful mountains. Parking is easy. Do not speed up the road to the parking lot for obvious reasons plus there is high police presence on the road.

If looking for complex terrain head up the Summit Platter, or once exiting the Gondola, hang skiers right down the backside for some shoots. It s a little bit harder to find at lake louise because the hill is rather moderate.

Great place for the whole family. A very moderate hill. The front side of the mountain closer to the bottom gets pretty slick! Stick to the top or backside even if you are a beginner.

Good ski and snowboarding resort. The resort has varying levels of difficulties for runs. I would recommend staying on the back side of the mountain to get the best snow and conditions. Unless you are complete beggining, I would avoid any of the green runs, the green runs consist of alot of flat areas that would be troublesome for snowboarders. There are two restaurants at the main lodge, a sushi and typical bar, go during off time, before 11 30 or after 1 to get seats. The cafeteria is your typical ski hill food (burgers, fries and random foreign meals). Parking here abundant compared to sunshine, if you show up before 8 30, you are almost garenteed a spot without taking the bus.

2nd largest ski resort in canada, or somewhere around there. mostly natural snow, and the view is breathtaking at the top. However, some years, the snow can be very poor, and weather pattern very unpredictable. it's not the fault of the resort, of course. parking lot is gigantic and fills up quickly on weekends. food at the clubhouse is very very expensive and mediocre at best. basically bad cafeteria food at restaurant prices. all ski resorts do this, but that still doesn't make it ok.

Has a wide verity of difficulty for the more and less experienced on the hill. They have a bunny hill complete with a section for tubing. There is also a lodge on the back of the mountain if you need to eat or use the washroom.

Loved sking Lake Louise. Long runs, lots of moguls and not crowded even on a saturday. Often times I found runs with no one on them. Amazing sushi restraunt onsite and made for a super experience.

Fun!

This is the second time visiting lake Louise ski resort. We love this mountain. Both times we had great skiing conditions. The dry snow is beautiful to go skiing and look at. The mountain ranges around is amazing. There s a lot of different difficulty skiing slopes. I especially love the Sawyer nook restaurant on the mountain. The food was amazing.
Recommend getting the Lake Louise card for discounts.

Summertime 2019: Great tour to Moraine Lake! Well worth the money, and Anthony was an excellent interpreter and guide who knows the area VERY well! The resort is also well appointed and well-organized. We also did the gondola to the top of the mountain, and it made for some wonderful views!

The cable ride is nice and the view is of course beautiful. Lake Louise and its resort are visible, but in the distance across the valley. If you do a morning ascent, the offered add-on breakfast is an excellent bargain. The major down side is the advertised shuttle to lake Louise. On leaving the ski resort, priority is given to folks who bought gondola tickets, and that's ok. There is, however, no priority on return, the bus is small (25 passengers) only runs hourly, and you can expect to stand in line for 1 to 2 hours to get on. There are no other options, so be aware.

Love the runs on this mountain. It's has everything from beginner to expert, wide open to tree cover. Family friendly resort. Definitely looking forward to returning to this resort for another day of amazing skiing. I would suggest going on a week day, the lifts were almost empty
