I live nearby and wish I could go there more often. Lovely little restaurant by the Thames Estuary. Not cheap but you pay for quality.
Wide selection of drinks, well-varied menu that should appeal to most tastes or need.
Food is nicely presented and always of a high standard. Portions a good size too.
Friendly service and have never had any cause for complaint.

Well worth the short wait to get a table. Very diverse menu. Great service, happy and accommodating my fellow diners had mobility issues & were well looked after.

Another fabulous evening celebrating my 2 nieces birthdays at this restaurant. I've been back a few times for special occasions and the meal, staff and atmosphere always impeccable. Staff very friendly, helpful and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Food allergies/intolerances handled with no hassle. Reasonably priced for everything you get. Fantastic lunch and very friendly staff. Took our little 1 year old daughter for an impromptu lunch, food was delicious, great views and they gave her a menu to draw on with a set of crayons. Great service, will definitely return

This place has gone downhill. They had or maybe they still do have a loyalty scheme. I got shafted on this, they do not value loyal customers. For that reason I shall not be returning.
Fantastic breakfast..very friendly staff, and clean comfortable environment. Worth every penny, but wouldn't bring young children as the seating is a little tight.

Probably the best restaurant in South Essex for the quality of the food, the immaculate but not pushy service and the very attractive pricing. Its a small restaurant with just a few tables but easily the best view anywhere, looking over the estuary as the sun sets.
My friends and I don't go anywhere else unless we have to.
Lovely food but the staff let it down. We waited an hour and a half for a table only to be told they couldn't fit us in due to 'health and safety' and high chairs blocking the way. No apology - just three very hungry children and four very cross adults. My advice is find out where you will be sitting before you wait.
Stumbled on this place during a recent walk and it was a delight - tasty lunch, great for kids, reasonable prices and a gorgeous place to sit on a sunny day!

My family took me and my 9year old granddaughter to your restaurant last night as it was both of our birthdays. The choice of meals and taste of our different meals was all excellent and the staff were very friendly and we never felt rushed all in all they made it a very special evening for us all. Loved it !
What a lovely place. Sat at a window table eating our meal looking out to sea. It was just like being on a cruise ship. The staff were friendly and food sooo good. Will be visiting again.

Out over this world hotel and restaurant worth every penny
Initially, I thought this place wasn't for me (location wise), but how wrong I was! The staff made us feel special and the food was classy. Would definitely go again. PS Good ambience after dark.
Our first visit after lots of people recommending to us. Absolutely fantastic roast pork belly today. They kindly split an adult portion in 2 for our small boys and they really want it too. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, nothing too much trouble. We will be back soon.
We had been here for dinner previously and were attending a family wake on this occasion.We were in the top section of the venue and had a buffet with hot and cold dishes.The staff were friendly,capable and efficient.The food was presented well and was very tasty.The parking was in the council carpark by the Labworth and you do have to pay to park here.
Fantastic people, in a phenomenal location overlooking the estuary. Decent food, and busy for a reason! Would try to book in advance (or head down early, if you have the time) in order to secure a place.

Unusual surrounding but beautiful overlooking the Estuary. Once you enter the restaurant you are greated straight away. The service is excellent and staff are not pushy. The food is A class. Will definitely go again

Unuslaly shaped restaurant with great views of the Thames Estuary to enjoy while you are enjoying your meal, I would say good value food which is sensibly priced but the best part of this restaurant is the memorable views of the Thames Estuary you can enjoy while enjoying your post meal cocktails or coffees. Give it a go I dont think there is much better in Canvey / Basildon / Pitsea in terms of value for money.
Nothing to hate...staff are nice warm welcome. Food is hot the cafe is spotless and the cafe has a fantastic view of the estuary .
Nice local family restaurant. Cheap and cheerful. It was perfect for lunch whilst visiting the local mini 'theme park'

Food is nice but go for the view. Also, plenty of parking space but it's all down the hill so you will have to run through mud and slippery slopes on rainy days.
