Perfect place. Many turtles and even manta rays come.

Might be our favorite of the 4 islands we visited... its basically a pit-stop you make before you go to heaven! We were there right before the rainy season, it sprinkled once or twice for 2-5 minutes and then it was balmy, sunny and amazing. Accommodations, immaculate island grounds and villas, the impeccable service... all made for a memorable visit. It is on our replay list and we don't like to go to a spot for more than once usually. The staff all the way up to GM are very helpful, discreet, and understand hospitality; visible in an invisible way enabling you to have your best vacation experience. Take advantage of the spa! even a half day is worth it, their therapists are great and know what they are doing. Food is fantastic, we enjoyed it better than other islands we were on; seemed fresher and of even higher quality. Water and beach quality is amazing, right from the villa you can snorkel and see so much sea-life. Sea-toys available for rental and diving/snorkeling expeditions are pretty good. We went on the snorkeling trip and loved it, but to be honest, our own beach and ocean front was just as good. They have a saying in the island "if you are not barefoot then you are overdressed" -- we totally agreed! Only time we dressed up was for dinners. Other times kept it to bare minimum. They also mean it with barefoot, the entire thing is sand and they rake and keep it in amazing condition. So we even ditched the flip-flops. We miss our daily juice-shots and fruit service around tea-time. As lovers of ocean, most amazing moment was when small sharks swam up to our beach to patrol. It made us truly internalize we are a sand-grain in this magical universe. And that's enough of an awakening to go back to Komandoo!

Very nice and small barefoot island, great food, very nice staff, great diving school, beautiful beach houses with a private beach area. I think we'll be back ;-)

Our holiday has met all expectations. Very friendly and professional staff. Quiet and clean environment for true relaxation. The resort also offers several activities and excursions. Every day there is always something to look at how life on the island, as well as under water.

We booked the Jacuzzi Beach Villa and loved the view !! The food was delicious, quality and varied. The staff does everything for his guests, all are very friendly and meet all requests. The island is cleaned and maintained daily. We would come back onjedanfall. We had sensational honeymoon.

An adult spa, very good for couples to enjoy their time of life with romantic atmosphere.

Had a wonderful holiday on Komadoo. The island is beautiful and the staff and activities top class. Big shout out to Ibrahim who organised wonderful food for us every day and gave us lot of great advice. Would recommend the island to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

After visiting Sri Lanka, we spent a week in this resort, which was invited by some friends. It is a very exclusive island and costs about 700 euros per night. If the weather is good, you can spend the best week of your life. It is important to check the weather. You have to be lucky with the weather, because there are not many activities to do when the weather is bad

It is difficult to put into words what was the best vacation of my life with my wife for the honeymoon. A wonderful place, lived together with a wonderful woman. An earthly paradise of peace, relaxation and fun.

What can i say we absolutely fell in love with Komandoo. It's a true paradise. We have stayed at many islands but this is the 1st one i would say i will return too. The all inclusive package was fantastic! Our accommodation was beautiful, everything was thought of to make your stay the paradise holiday you dream of.

Awsome place, service nd food.. we visited on May 2018 starting.. It was our honeymoon trip, nd its unforgettable.. we r pure vegetarians, dont eat meat, eggs nd sea food.. nd we always food to eat

A very beautiful island, but we have not yet found the places where big fish can be seen. Safari Island had more big fish and Angaga more coral. The reef around the island starts in about 30 to 40 meters from the beach. For snorkel lovers, the area is okay but you can not count on very many big fish. We stayed in the Water Bungalows, which are very nice, have a large terrace with a sun lounger. The restaurant is very nice you can choose whether you are sitting in a room or on a terrace on the beach. The food tasted better on Angaga and Safari Island. On Komandoo Island, the food is unfortunately not very versatile. There is delicious curry every night as a second dish but you also have to expect sauerkraut and bread dumplings and sausages. In our opinion, this is not fully comprehensible here in these countries.

Peaceful & Beautiful island with Awesome reef. Delicious food with great Service.

Komandoo has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Small, perfectly well keep island paradise. Amazing snorkeling all around the island with plenty of amazing fish and sea life. With no more than 70 villa's and adults only. One of the best honeymoon spots in the world. Sunrise villa's are the most protected from the wind and weather but the beeches and snorkeling are equally amazing on both sides. Internet is avaliable although not incredibly fast (I guess connection is important to some people).

There is only one word to describe the resort: great. The food is great, the reef is great (lots of turtels), the drinks are good, the rooms are all clean and the best point is the friendliness of the staff. 5 Stars.

Wallah I wish that I took photo for the room! Koomando was the 1st resort I visit in Maldives. The lemon grace smell is still in my nose. The only thing I didn't like, the resort needs seaplane to reach. Any how Koomando is wonderful.

Fantastic facility on a small island. Good for snorkeling. The food is excellent.

Great resort, quiet and peaceful with only relatively few villas so there is hardly any people visible.

If we are nitpicking then perhaps a better wine and spirits selection would have been nice and at least some of the better items available for the gold all inclusive which felt a bit lacking.

In any case we will probably be back as so far this is the best Maldives island we have visited.

I love this island! The service is impeccable. The view is amazing. The food is good bit the variety needs some improvement. All in all, great place to visit.

Were on this island on excursions. The island is beautiful, well-groomed, but it is spoiled by plates along the perimeter. The house reef is beautiful, but not wow. The island belongs to the same owner as Kuredu. Therefore, they are much similar, the same villas, the same flowers. It seemed to us that the Team was slightly overpriced.

This resort is surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, is the only resort on the island of Komandoo, in Lhaviyani Atoll. Your seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport / Male' / Maldives is a scenic, 40 minute flight. Make sure to keep your cameras fully charged as this is an experience which you should not miss.

We were allowed to spend our honeymoon here and it was really a heavenly dream. The hotel is excellently run and you not only find nothing to complain about, but always small details, with which you would not have expected, but are extremely useful. The staff are incredibly friendly without being intrusive. The food is great and very varied. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon.

Calm and complete relaxation. Great restaurant. Comfortable villas. The hotel is very quiet, without discos and animations. Exactly what is needed from time to time to all residents of large cities. There is a diving and snorkeling school. Nearby there is a coral reef. The ocean is clean and warm. On the island, everyone goes barefoot, such an order, and besides this the sand is so small and pleasant that it does not occur to me to wear shoes here.

We went to Komandoo in our honeymoon and we become complete satisfied with the resort and its staff. Upon arrival to Male airport we had to check in for the seaplane to Komandoo and then transfered to a Lounge where we had to wait until the seaplane departure. When we arrived to the Lounge we were informed that our seaplane will not leave to Komando after 4 hours and 30 minutes after our arrival which annoyed us a bit. When we arrived to the resort we explained them the situation and apologized and told us that a lack of communication between the seaplane company (TransMaldivian Airlines) and the resort was the issue. The staff was very kind with us (highliting Salim) who made all kind of efforts to compensate the waiting time prior to our arrival to Komandoo and he did it.
We had a champaing bottle in our room and it was decorated becouse we were honeymooners, the allowed us to have a late check out (1 pm), feed us when we arrived to the resort (we were hungry after hours in a plane and in the lounge) and Salim had the detail of invinting us to enjoy a special dinner in the beach.
Komandoo is a very quiet and small island, with around 60 villas, perfect for relax and to disconnect from the world. The food is tasty, the cocktails are amazing and the pool is the perfect place to see the sunset. One of the drawbacks of its location is the proximity of a local island. And I say that because you can see smoke of fire, big antenas from your room. Sometimes you can also hear people praying in the Mosque placed in the local island but it is understandable and it is not very anoying.
We stayed in a water vila and we had the opportunity to snorkel around it and to see all the sea life of the sourrinding waters. We have the all included plan and we had the sunset cruise included. I want to highlight this trip because the crew of the boat do they best to show you dolphins which is an amazing experience. The captain of the boat knows where they are and how to play with them.
In our last day the A/C broke down but the staff of the hotel was able to change it in a couple of hours. We were quite surprised about is efficiency.
Finally, we checked out, we had lunch, and we were taken by boat to Kuredu Resort (15 min. approximately) to catch the seaplane back to Male International Airport (45 min approximately).

I would like to say that our overall stay was amazing. We recommend the resort and to come back again in the future.

One of a experience... Must visit.... Best place on earth to spend quality time with closed one's... No doubt on hospitality... But keep in mind to book whatever activities you planned way before 48 hours... Apart from the booking rest everything is super fine...

Paradise Island!!! Could not have hoped for a better honeymoon! Solah and his staff could teach customer service to anyone, best hotel/resort/customer experience we have ever had. Breathtaking island, beautiful reef, thousands of fish, and the food was unbelievable. Everything surpassed all our expectations! Thank you Solah and team!!!

Amazing, beautiful place. Snorkeling amazing here. Staff extremely friendly. Food delicious. Rooms are clean and one small issue we had with the air conditioning was sorted out immediately. Unbelievable holiday, would definitely recommend. Immaculate island with high standard of customer service. Can't wait to visit again!

VERY quiet island, few bungalows (54 currently), enough privacy despite the small size of the island. The island is protected by breakwaters which is necessary because otherwise it would wash away. But that doesn't bother and corals are already growing on the breakers. Have fun chilling :)

Great experience on Komandoo, highly recommended, STF02 jacuzzi, just great. Everything was great, clean and everyone, really always with a smile on their faces. Also with us bad to no English always tried to laugh and worried about the well-being. All a heartfelt thank you during our stay 04.06. -11.06.17 especially our waiter of me unfortunately the name does not know anymore as well as Afra and Stefanie from the front desk.
