The L-Addison Group, South Texas Home Buyers Review

I was scheduled to have an appointment with a certain individual there during my lunch period.(im currently employed but looking) and when I got there the receptionist took a copy of my ID and SSN card and took me to one of the offices in the back.

I waited for this individual for about 10 mins and then the receptionist stated:she is in a meeting .I asked how long she said for a while.So I immediately got up and walked out.

After I got to my car and about 5 min later I called to speak to the recruiter and was told she was on the phone.So I left her a voicemail........NO CALLBACK.

I then emailed her the following:

Im not sure what happened today but I arrived there so that we can meet becuase I am in the market for a new position.I would have at least liked to have met you and have a very brief conversation or either notified much eariler if you had a meeting and you needed to reschedule .

It took my whole lunch break to only get there and not be able to even see your face.The receptionist told me it would be a long time before your were out of your meeting and I understood.

I called about 5-10 min later just to leave a voicemail to re-schedule and she told me you were no longer in a meeting .

Are there any other recruiters in your office that are available ? If you could please pass my information to one of the others .I have completed my online profile and my tax document and then I was rushed out the office .

Please do yourself a favor and RUN, FAST! This company is highly unprofessional as well as unethical. They will lie, and make false promises to get your commission in the door. What's even more sad is that HR allows them to treat people this way, the corporate office is extremely rude but this branch hands down THEE most money hungry group I have ever met, and I have worked with several agencies. It's the wrong business for people that don't care about people...and they do not, only their pockets. Please choose another agency...PLEASE!

Unprofessional recruiters. I was supposed to start a position with Addison Group September 17,2017 at 9am. I get a call from one of their recruiters on the day I supposed to start work 1 hour b4 the shift starts and I m told that they pushed back the start date and that I will receive a call from Eric Roe on my new start date and further instructions. I never heard from Mr. Roe or any representative from Addison Group. I even reached out to Mr. Roe via email and text message and no reply. Literally how rude and unfroessional is that?

This is the typical staffing agency that claims to do wondrous recruiting for your business, but their recruiters are actually very rude and suck at recruiting.

Barak Seguin is one of their recruiters that sends out bulk spam emails. You can expect that when you hire this firm for recruiting top talent for your business, employees like Mr. Seguin will piss them before they even submit their resume.

There are thousands of better staffing agency's and there is no reason you have to deal the b.s. of arrogant employees.

Sydney was the best recruiter! I've worked with temp agencies before who have done a good job, but she made sure I was taken care of and was working somewhere I enjoyed. She followed what I wanted and found a place for me to work permanently just after one month! Very much recommend working with them if you're in the area!!!

Went into the office and instead of being greeted or even acknowledged, I had to gain the attention of the TWO receptionists who were both actively engaged in their cellphones while wearing headphones. UNPROFESSIONAL. If these are the standards Addison Group upholds for themselves, then there s no way they can find anyone reputable, gainful employment.

Maura is a passionate recruiter and I would recommend her to anyone.

These people are just a joke. You will be another cover letter to introduced them to other employers...they need some statistics.
They keep me going to interviews with no results even when when the potential employers were very happy with my proffesional experience at my senior level.
These recruiters are very un proffesional and just waste your time. Be alert about Daniela and Beverly...they will call you all the time with useless messages about fake updates in order to keep you in the loop ...they are rude amd will even get to your personal and private life aspects...again... Stay away from them !

They will tell you that the client is willing to work with you through your personal hardships but will not fight for you to stay with the client. I would not recommend this agency at all.

I first dealt with this company when I moved to Dallas in October 2017. I know for sure I went to about 7 interviews and for one I was given the wrong address so I couldn t make that one. The recruiter I had at the time Ruth was very rude and talked inappropriately to me which I was not having! They reached out about a week ago a different recruiter and wanted to set something up for me that I was very interested in and I havnt even heard back from the guy Tyler. I am so damn done with this company! Good luck to anyone who uses them! Never again will they waste my time and gas!

This agency is great if you like to waste your time and volunteer information so they can collect leads from you. That's right, instead of focusing on helping you find a position they instead ask you for your prior contacts at your old company and any recent interviewers' names and numbers so they can call and see whether there are any positions that need to be filled. You're also greeted at the door with " Do you have 2 forms of IDs" instead of "Good morning, Good afternoon..." I've turned in all the paperwork they requested weeks ago and habe yet to be sent on any interview. Actually I never heard back from anyone period.

The Dallas location recruiters (Administrative) do not return voice or emails. The reviews listed about not organized is legitimate. A receptionist managed to catch a recruiter while passing and the call hung up in the middle of conversation while discussing posted job opportunities. I was told I would receive information and never received. Have a plan B and C for yourself. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend a friend to this company.

When the recruiter suggested I take a 20% paycut to go from a job I have had for 10 years to a 6 month contract i did laugh a little bit because I thought it was funny and was just about to explain to her when my breaking point would be but she hung up on me. That is right someone who depends on getting people jobs HUNG UP ON ME.

Sydney Parker is the best! She helped me find a great job fairly quickly! I m very grateful for her. Pay her a visit!

Completely unprofessional, the recruiters call you for interview then don't take your calls neither answers on messages .
Experienced people are treated as if they are good for nothing . Completely not acceptable behaviour

At first they are friendly and do try to find you a job. However I do not recommend their referral incentive, they advertise $100 per referral that they are able to place. I have referred 3 people and all have been hired and at least 2 of them have been employed with the company for 3 months and I have sent numerous emails and left voicemails to Sierra Ryan and Kristin Anderson and no one has gotten back to me. Very poor customer service.

This company dont even deserve one star!! ***DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS SORRY COMPANY**** Maegan Brock is who I worked with and she is a BIG LIAR!!!! She won't return my phone call because I caught her in a LIE!! I found out how the company operates.. Maegan sent me on 4 interviews in one day..Texas Onocology twice, Methodist, Conifer, and USPI.. I thought I did good at all my interviews except I didn't meet with Conifer just did an over the phone interview.. So the next day Maegan calls and say oh I'm sorry(I bet you was) but none of the companies wanted you they 'said' they don't think you will be able to keep up with they work flow.. Im thinking what how can they say that I have six years experience in what I do and I do it well.. She say I know I don't know but Conifer want you they are very excited.. I'm like Conifer just did a phone interview with me and it lasted like two minutes.. I was very upset!!!!! She was like do you accept the job I'm like I don't know she say well you have until noon today to accept the job.. So we hung up I felt something was not right how can all those companies say the exact same thing!! So I ended up accepting the job.. The day I was suppose to start at Conifer I didn't show up because some didn't feel right.. Maegan blew my phone up left voice mails sent emails everything but now she won't return my call lol.. So I ended up going with another temp service and one of the jobs came back up I told the temp service I didn't want to go interview with them because they already turned me down.. The temp service was like no they didn't they said they wanted you I'm like no per Maegan they didnt.. So I went back and interviewed with the company they like what happened why you turned the job down we was told you accepted a better job offer I'm like no I was told you all didn't want me because you all didn't think I would be able to keep up with the work flow.. They started laughing and was like we would never say anything like that we told them we wanted you.. They had proof showed me the email and everything!!!! I cannot believe Addison Group lied on me and the company like that. I could have missed out on a job opportunity if I would have went with who they wanted me to go with.. I take it Conifer pay them better and more since they wanted me to go with them... They wasted my time and gas!!! I will never know if them other jobs wanted me also...I'm so thankful I believe in myself and felt something was not right... Addison Group you are liars and very unprofessional and I will never ever deal with you all again!!! Maegan Brock you can ignore me all you want I'm done with it cause at the end of the day I know what I can do and you all didn't stop me because I still got the job!!!! I signed up with Addison Group months ago and have not had one assignment. My first person of contact Nick Pence seemed great but, he was promoted to another position. I received a voicemail and email from a lady telling me she was my new point of contact. I returned her call and I emailed her. I did not hear back. I talked to someone else who said she was no longer there. I expressed my need for work was told they have not been able to reach me which isn't true...I returned emails and calls to all 3 people who were supposed to be my point of contact at different times. Still nothing.. very frustrating since I've been out of work almost a year now Feb will be a year. I called Addison Group once again recently spoke to Nick who was again very nice and apologetic but he no longer does recruiting. He put me through to recruiter Eric who was supposed to help me! Once again only my info was taken and I was told I'd be call back! Nothing ...no email no call back. No assignments. I have lost my apartment in June due to being out of work and now also on dart transportation only. I have worked for temp agencies since the 90's and had better luck and staffing agencies then. I have never had such a bad experience with a staffing agency. Very disappointed...

I arrived early for my interview with the recruiter and was left alone in a conference room for 30 minutes before speaking to anyone. I did get to eventually take some basic office tests. The recruiter was very pleasant and we had a productive conversation. I was informed of what jobs were available in my skill set and that an interview with a company would be set up for the next week. I told the recruiter that I would make sure I freed up that block of time in my schedule. The following week came, but I received no follow-up by phone or e-mail. I called them 3 times and sent an email to finally get a call back the evening before my interview. I was told that it was possible the position was getting filled. I requested another interview. The recruiter did set up another interview at a different company for the next day. I was very thankful. I arrived 25 minutes early to find that the agency had emailed me an incorrect address for the interview. I called them, explaining about the address, and the recruiter said she would call me back. She called back with the accurate address, and I explained to her I would now be late for my interview. She said she would call and let them know. I arrived at the interview and was asked to fill out an application, which took another 30 minutes, but the interview went well. I have not received any feedback, phone calls or emails in approximately a week from Addison Group. I have called numerous times, only to be brushed off and offered voicemail, then rarely receive a call back. I gave Addison Group 3 stars because their communication is of low standard. I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but in this case there were too many red flags to overlook.

Call to let you know you are done...for its not a long term solution...Nothing else. No constructive criticism no help just a b.s. excuse and don't let the door hit you in the way out. Added 1 star for my rep as she did a decent job.

Maura has been super helpful and landed me a role that I absolutely loved! I think the staff was super fun which made me feel at ease. Positive experience

I went through them to get a position at a trifling company. They were very nice at first but will be quick to throw you under a bus and will not fight for you as one of their employees....I will never work with them again

Thanks to them i was able to make enough connections to find my current job, but They are not worth the time or effort. Recruiter never answers the phone or emails, she was never aware of what is going on with the assignments or clients. My contract ended in very bizarre and unjust situation and she was not able to stick up for me even when I provided her with all the details and proof. Lily Kimbell is not a good recruiter and from what I read so far neither are the others. Again im giving 2 stars because I was able to network when they placed me, other than that professional wise this company still needs a lot of work.

Maura Hunter is fantastic to work with. As a recruiter Maura maintains a highly professional demeanor and is always very friendly, and found me the perfect job, Maura is quick to understand the kind of roles I am looking for, recognizing my strengths and putting me forward for exactly the right job. I had a representative by the name of Novi last year. Phenomenal experience. She was encouraging, helpful and an overall great attitude on helping me get a job that was a good fit for me. She called me every day with updates and options, allowing me to pick and choose who I would interview with and who I wouldn't. Within a week and half, two weeks she placed me in a job that then hired me full time after 3 months. Since I had such a great experience I decided to return since my education and work experience has improved since becoming placed with the company they led me to. However, this time around was a much different experience. I was placed with a gentlemen named Jonathon since Novi had since left. Just from the initial phone call with him I could tell that this would be a much different experience. He was doubtful from the first conversation I had with him over the phone. His tone, demeanor and attitude about my job search left me wondering, "Is this guy really here to help me or just to have doubt me?" Lo and behold! We meet in person. All the while he is saying, "well, continue your job search on your own and I will keep looking as well." So after 1 MONTH of waiting I have gotten no calls, no emails, no updates, NADA! Not even to tell me, "I'm sorry but I have found nothing. What? Addison Group got their cut with a company that hired me but now I am basically ghosted? Like I said, amazing experience with Novi but I guess it's just who they place you with. I unfortunately got the short end of the stick this time.

Juan Ladino was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He was able to find exactly what I was looking for and prepped me for my interview.

Where do I start....
I started working with this company sometime last year 2017 working with Nick Prince. I went in several interviews and felt as if I was making blank trips. On one of my interviews the lady took almost 30 minutes to come out. So as I was attempting to leave she then came out. Long story short with working with him I was doing the follow up calls. He did some but it felt as if I was left in the dark at some point. Especially after he was promoted.

2018....
I started working with Maegan Brock in March. Went on 2 interviews. From the jump she was informed of the distance I would have to travel at some point. There was a point when I had to reschedule due to being sick. So I started an assignment at Medical City as an insurance verifier. Worked about 2 weeks, the environment was so disorganized. But I stayed and stuck it out. I informed the office manager of a planned and paid trip that we had two discussion. Which entailed how I would work my hours. Which was written on the board and all. So the same week I was supposed to work 4x10 s (due to having a Friday off). I became ill that Tuesday called in to the office manager and she stated it s okay don t try to come in if I can t. So the original discussion was to do half a day. But then we discussed me doing the 4x10 s.
So that Friday I get a call from Danielle (Maegan s colleague) asking why I didn t show for work. I have her the run down of what me and the office manager talked about. She informed me that Maegan would follow up with me and reassign me.

I have it a couple of days just to see how they operate and I called the following Wednesday. Being informed by Maegan that she assumed I knew. Knew what??? As I informed her apparently there is poor communication going on. She stated oh we can t be a resource for you anymore. Keep in mind she never followed up, called or anything. Never called to inquire about what happened. She also stated we need people that will come to work. I then asked have you ever became ill and couldn t come in. As far as the planned trip that was already discussed.

When calling the office you re always sent to voice mail or brushed off.

I will never recommend anyone or work for this company if they reconsidered. This review will be plastered every place I can put it.

Never been sent to the voicemail this much in a life time before, and every time I see a job posting online my recruiter states " there's nothing avaliable" after weeks or months later of responding back! Yeah this company is definitely trash!

RUN AND RUN FAST!!! This place is not going to get you a job! They only want you as a part of their roster. They never call back or answer emails. Specifically Carolyn Nicosia.. I had read the review but wanted to still give them a go. HUGE mistake! Take my advice, do not waste your time!

I have had a wonderful experience with this company. Sydney Parker has been wonderful to work with from start to finish! I would highly recommend this company as my job search was a little frustrating and I was currently at a job that was not well suited for me. Sydney has been very helpful and proactive of finding me a job and keeping in touch throughout the process! I have also referred my former coworker to make sure to work with Sydney! :)

Update 5/29: I have converted to a permanent position all thanks to Sydney for referring me to this assignment. She has always been proactive in making sure everything is going well with me and following up if I had any concerns. She is definitely the epitome of customer service and I will definitely refer her to anyone seeking employment!

Addison Group is an agency that will help you find a job mostly in the accounting and finance sector. Ask for Michelle Montgomery. She's on top of things and will call you before and after an interview to see how it went, and email you or call to notify you of new jobs. She even tweaked my resume to make it more appealing to employers. After 1 week of working with her she helped land me a really good job after I had been actively looking for work for months.

Recruiter loves calling saying that your a good fit for positions just to get you to interview but then drop the ball when it comes to contacting you in regards to position or open positions that fit your background.. Even after you reach out to them yourself to check on the status of things..While there tons of jobs that says needs to be filled .. Things there just seems very unorganized & like they don t care .

The Addison Group is a pure joke
...I especially want to point out Eric Roe who is a spineless jellyfish. He put me on a assignment that was full of unorganized uneducated people who called themselves mangement. I was told my assignment ended on a Sunday. He will not stand up for you against the client and he is a puppet for his manager. Oh and the receptionists at the front are young girls who excepted the job because that's the only place who would hire them.....let me just say very very unprofessional. BEWARE THIS IS THE WORST TEMP AGENCY EVER.

My recruiter Maura Hunter was extremely helpful in my job search. She was able to find me a great job as a admin assistant! I was having a hard time in my job search until I got in contact with Addison Group. I definitely would recommend anyone to Maura.

I had a very good experience here. Recruiter was friendly, efficient, and very communicative. Sadly, the job didn't work out but it paid great and I learned a lot. I guess everyone's experience is different. I've worked for a lot of staffing agencies and this was one of my better experiences.

These people were helpful in finding employment. Very professional staff.

I communicated with Eric through this staffing agency and he promised he would get me a job. There was a few times where I wouldn't hear from him for weeks and than all of a sudden he would call and tell me he had a position open for me and he would put me down for an interview. The interview never happened and he would always just say "they haven't contacted me back". Then I wouldn't hear from him for another few weeks and than he would call back and say he had another position open for me. I blocked his number. Such a waste of my time.

I would not recommend working for these people mislead information and they call you alot while at work. There system for payroll is awful. They also give you bad report so you can't get unemployment.

I have been with the Addison Group since March, and my experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Maura Hunter is one of, if not the best recruiter any staffing agency could hope for. Normally, you never hear from your agency unless there is a problem. The Addison Group is a complete opposite.

They are very quick to respond, and employ the best of recruiters. Maura is great at keeping the lines of communication open with check-ins, often providing progress reports. I've often told her that I could not have asked for a better recruiter. I would highly recommend the Addison Group to anyone who needs a staffing agency, with hopes that they would be assigned Maura as a recruiter.

They were very nice in the beginning, called me and had an interview with me and after I moved to Dallas I expected to be taken care of! but instead they started sending me unrelated jobs and then completely ignored my emails! they are unprofessional.

I had a great experience with Addison Group. I worked with Sydney Parker and she was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to help me with getting a position. I am very grateful for her!

TERRIBLE customer service. recruiters never call you back, receptionist will hang up on you if they don't like that you're telling them that they won't call you back. No one is helpful. If they call you, don't listen

I haven t had a problem with Addison Group I have not been on an assignment with them but I can say that Carolyn has gone above and beyond trying to help find a suitable position for me. She keeps me updated we talk on a daily basis also the reception desk has not been rude to me at all. I call about 4 times a day sometimes I feel like I m the annoying one. Anyways great work Addison Group I really appreciate your help.

All negative reviews of Dallas location are true. I even mentioned reviews and concerns and was assured this would not be my experience...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Their primary concern is a getting your contacts!

They will not fight for you as an employee!! They placed me at an assignment where they were having trouble placing and keeping anyone there for long due to a bitter old nasty person there, from the beginning they knew they've always had trouble due to this certain person, no one would stay there long because of this issue, they knew the office was a very gossipy, unprofessional place, but instead of helping you with any issues, they turn on you, they don't care, they just want you to finish the assignment so they can get paid.!! They are no help at all!

My review has definitely changed since last time. I got let go of my assignment for no accurate reason, no coaching or anything ! Never received pay for my last 8 hours there. Called never heard back from anyone. I recommend not going through temp companies if you can but if you have to go through anyone but this one !

I haven t had any problems with Addison Group besides the Kronos. My Rep is Juan Ladino, he s actually the best rep I ve had in a long time. He makes sure I have everything I need before starting the job, if I need more time for transportation he includes the time, he doesn t waste my time and call me about jobs that not long lasting. He got me in Baylor and I have been dying to get into Baylor for years now so this was super exciting for me and I m glad I decided to go through a temp service to find work!! If you need help looking for a job go to Addison Group and request Juan he will DEFINITELY make sure you are good to go before and after starting!!

Waste of time! They are extremely unprofessional. Katie called me about 2 months ago and said she would have no problem placing me. I drove 40 min across town to interview with her and filled out all the paperwork. It has been 2 months no phone call and they do not return phone calls. Stay away and don't waste your time. I did phone them and told them thanks for wasting my gas and time driving across town.

Update : After I left the message Katie called me back and told me they cannot represent me. Like they did anything at all to begin with! What audacity!

Horrible Company to work with !!! Your interests are NOT theirs!!! Very unprofessional !!! Both Jordan & Megan! Definitely would NEVER recommend them to anyone! Stay away!
Also Employers, make sure you read your contract with them!!!!!!
