Saint Petersburg is a city of superlatives. With the Winter Palace, the Hermitage, the Peterhof and the Catherine Palace with its amber room and not to forget the many small canals where other palaces are located (Venice of the North) and the Peter-Paul Fortress, Saint Petersburg has plenty of sights to offer. The city is well prepared for a comparison with other cities in the world. Everything is well restored and the city is very clean. People are friendly and very helpful. I was amazed how many young people speak good German here, I would not have gotten far with my broken Russian from school. Here you can only give 5 stars.

Perhaps the most inconspicuous or even specially hidden tourist city of the city.
