Fantastic local indoor food market. You can get just about everything you could ever need in here. Lots of the stalls sell food that is cooked and ready to eat and there was plenty of places to sit when we visited even though it was busy. Great place to have some lunch with superb value for money. Highly recommend a visit here.

Great food, great community, 100% New England grown and made goods. But people from all over the world and all walks of life come here to shop and dine.

They have a space where they hold cooking demonstrations and classes.

There's also nutrition workshops, and if you have SNAP they'll give you vouchers; you pay $10 on your EBT card and they give you $20 in "Bounty Bucks" that you can spend on any cold food items.

Oh and, SAMPLES!

This is more of a fancy Faneuil market. The food is more pricey but I wouldn't say the quality is exactly that much better. Portion sizes are small, and it's probably a nice place if you wanted something light and a bit more fancy, but I wouldn't go here unless meeting other people for lunch.

All you might need under one roof. You can smell the apple cider donuts as you enter the building. They have a limited number of hand-picked vendors who are allowed to sell in the Boston Public Market. And the quality of the stuff that you buy here speaks for itself.

The public market has everything. Friday and Saturday is a farmers market outside. Cash only but best deals in town for produce and freshest fish. The parking garage upstairs is $3 for up to 3 hours with validation.

Good place to take a walk. Really don't like the greasy oily smell constantly coming from the cider donut place. Most meat products are overpriced and not worth buying. Seafood too. Might be a good place to go if you are craving a fresh sea urchin or oyster.

What a great way to bring New England to the city! Each farmer did such a great job displaying their story at their stalls. There was a huge variety of foods, produce and goods from all over New England. The prepared food is great too!

A little overpriced (like pretty much every market that specializes in locally-sourced foodstuffs), but there's a lot of quality stuff. The cider donuts are a standout, as is the seafood from Red's Best.

Very good food selections from local businesses and the lobster steamed at red's was great. It seemed very cozy and all the stores had great food. Also recommend the apple cider place and the honey store because both have employees who were very helpful and extremely welcoming with great attitudes

For its size, it is a great market to find gourmet foods, as well as interesting hand-made products.

While I didn't actually purchase anything while here, the selection of foods and merchandise looked really great and unique. The entire market is really quite small, though. I was able to walk through here and take a detailed look at each shop in under 15 minutes.

There is also a farmer's market outside the market everyday, which is definitely an added bonus.
