Very convenient since it's right next to the Haymarket station or mbta. Been here during the afternoon/lunch and after work rush. Therefore, I see it's usually busy. If it's busy, the food must be good then, right?! My favorite stalls are Red's Seafood and Q's Nuts!

I mostly come here for the Taza drinks (cinnamon, orange, vanilla, 70% dark, iced. Try it!), hopsters alley beers, and the atmosphere. Fun to walk around, but pricey and needs more meal options. Cool stuff sold at the vendor stands

Another great job by drunk mayor Walsh.

Another great job by drunk mayor Walsh.

There were suggestions to take the open market to a better location. The drunk mayor Walsh ignored it. So, on Saturdays you have the combination of bad traffic pattern, shoppers, tourists, homeless, drunk buddies of the drunk mayor, and sports events North Station fan form a silly "happening" fake crowd that is one F word away from someone getting hurt.

The parking lot is a private approach to the city idea. Operators extort money from the valley boys, and at busy times shut out the regular people.

great idea, similar to the market in Florence, many Boston residents use it for their lunch break. foods of all tastes and all ethnicities cooked at the moment. The low prices allow you to taste more things, you can sit at the tables in common. 2 days a week there is also the outdoor market, very nice to see.

A must visit for tourists coming out from Haymarket station. It's an indoor market with many local vendors serving local produce, gourmet delicacies and deserts. Always a great place for lunch if you can't decide one cuisine, why not hop around stores and try some fresh shucked oysters at Red's Best, a coffee from George Orwell and a siracha cream cheese bagel from Levend Bagelry. Too many choices and only one stomach

I love coming to the Boston Public Market for the food indoors, to get produce at the outdoor market, and to take cooking classes. I took the chocolate truffle making class (brought a date) and it was so much fun! I also absolutely love the cheese place right in the middle of the market area, so many good cheeses (including one named in honor of RBG).

We were visiting for my mom s 85th birthday. A friend told us to come here for lunch. It is a busy but nice food hall with great local vendors. It s a fun way to try some local fare without a long wait. Despite being busy, we were able to find a place to sit. This is definitely worth checking out.

A (slightly) less touristy alternative to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston Public Market offers a wide range of dining options. Your biggest challenge might just be deciding what to eat. I chose the Noodle Factory and went for the ramen. Opening times are a bit eccentric, so double check before you head out. Stalls are now fitted with slick Square payment terminals that let you use your favorite tap-to-pay option, and even calculates the tip for you on the touch screen.

Very good market! Very unexpectedly in the heart of the city! I like it! I recommend! They say products from farmers, everything smelled delicious, but I do not know how much it is true))

Grass-fed meat and eggs, teas, soaps, yarn, plants, snacks, and other local goods. Everything a farmers' market goer could ask for! They deliver too. There are quarterly flyers in the back for many local events, classrooms, farm events, etc. of all sorts, not just related to food. Definitely coming back.

Lots of people during weekends. Exterior stales sale cheap fruits and vegetables, not always the best quality but possible bargains. Inside the market, fancy shops including many pastries and ready-to-eat counters.

Meh. Stopped by one Sunday morning hoping for a sit-down breakfast and walked away hungry and disappointed. Not a lot of choices (and tables) and definitely not for the budget-conscious. There were homeless people and drug dependents hanging out outside the building. They seem harmless but can be intimidating.
