King Cut El Cajon is like no other place you've ever gotten your hair cut. Sports everywhere. TVs everywhere - playing sports! And guy-smart stylists who know how to give men like you the haircut you want, and the haircut you need. We like to say, "this is not your father's barbershop!"

I've been to all the local Barbers and King's Cut is by far the best. It is super clean and nice inside. The hair cuts are great prices are fair. I highly recommend this Barber Shop!

Fast and good. Cuts, trims, shaves, waxing, threading, facials -- these guys know hair and conquer it quickly with zero bull. (Note that as of June 2018 the hours displayed in the shop window are 9:00-8:00 7 days a week, but the staff is clear that they close at 7:00 on Sundays.)

Great cuts as always! Awesome price 10$ and all the stylist's are very thorough. They also offer wax for ears, nose, or face and full shaves.

After reading these reviews it seems like there is a bad apple in the bunch. Took my son to get a haircut. I showed him a picture of what he wanted and the barber cut his hair in about 5 minutes and totally massacred his hair. Very disappointed plus he charged me $12 for a boys haircut. Will not return. Shame.

Won t go back. They buzzed all my 6 month old sons hair off before I could say a word about what I wanted.

After almost 3 months without, I got a haircut today at Kings. A number 2 buzz cut. My head is SO COOL! they also trimmed my eyebrows and mustache and waxed my ears and nose all for $20. By the way, skip the nose waxing.

I moved from El Cajon to Tierrasanta a few months ago and tried 3 barbers in the area. I now drive 20-30 minutes to come here for my shave and cut.These guys are leagues above the rest. Closest shave and freshest cut I've experienced.

Sloppy, I've come here a few times because of the reviews on the page. Really disappointed. I timed one of my haircuts under 3 minutes. 3 minutes. That's not efficient, that's lazy. Won't be returning.

Anytime I've had to go with someone other than Chris at Fade Factory(my main barber) it has been just as high quality as I expected. It's hard to get a good fade and beard trim here in SD but this place is spot on! They even wax your nose hair which hurts but its not horrible. Puts hair on your chest. Your nose hair that is..

Been going to them every 3 or 4 weeks for the last 6 months. They do a well above average job. Lots of details and extra attention if you are getting a beard trim or a wax.

Cheap and quick. Only issue I have is that they do cheap work. $10 is what you pay, but it shows.

My first time here was great. Sunday morning at 10am was a full house and thought I would be waiting quite a while for my turn. Not the case, these guys are professional, get you taken care of quick and come out looking great at a great price. Omar is my new barber and King s Cut has a new loyal customer!

This place is great! The guys that cut hair here are clean, professional and friendly. I drive from Oceanside to get a cut here because I know they will get it right all the time. They do it all hair cuts, eyebrow trims and waxing. Prices can't be beat!

King s cut is one of the best Barbar shop in town. All the guys over there are professional and friendly, they will take care of you and do whatever you want. Also the shop is clean and nice. I definitely recommend people to go over there.

My experience just now was nothing short of terrible. First chair on the left. I don't know your name you didn't tell me when I asked. As a matter of fact the only conversations you were interested in was the one in your native language to the barber next to you and the texting one you had going on your phone...which you checked a number of times. Secondly you did the exact opposite of what I asked for which was a "clean up" and trim not wanting a short looking haircut for tonight. Also I wanted a shave and trim of my goatee. You were clearly upset when you tried to get me to just have a short electric clipper trim instead of a full shave, and that's when this got really unpleasant. Twice stuffing my nose with shaving cream and completely covering my mouth and leaving it for me to fix both times. Now after all this i get home and find I have been butchered on my beard... ( pictures will follow ) One side is scraggly long and the other short. My beard which covered my chin, extending past the length of my mouth and probably grew from at least two inches past my chin is now a postage stamp on my face. I can't believe for a second that anyone would employ such a hack, so that leads me to believe that this dude just decided he didn't like me and took it out on me... or he wanted to make sure I never came back. I was the only white person there and I came here based on the recommendation of my sons...but they are all half Filipino and very dark. In the stores defense my kids told me to wait for Omar and I didn't actually all 3 of my kids that have been there all told me the same thing. I suppose I should have listened. Omar is all that is good there I guess. Hey Omar, open your own shop dude... I'll pay double.
P.s. just found out i was also over charge as well. My son gets haircut, shave and eye brows for 25, i paid 30 for haircut and shave. Terrible person, mediocre barber.

These guys are pros! Atmosphere is relaxing with TVs and music. My man Sam is always on his game. They specialize in mens haircuts, threading, waxing, beards, etc. I usually do a skin fade with eyebrow threading and a razor clean up around my sideburns and back neck for under $20! They're always fast too so if there's not a huge line you can be in and out in under 15-20 mins. Highly recommended!
