The Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata Review

Conveniently located for business as well as leisure, nicely painted and as the owner is a fan of cricket, the walls are beautifully decorated for lively environment.

Good hotel, terrible staff, no smile, no courtesy. If you are ok to pay money and yet be treated like a liability, go for Kenilworth. I have emailed the executive director Rijul about how he needs to train his staff. Awaiting a response.

Excellent ambience hospitality and food. Elegance reminds of Raj Era.

We had dinner at Mae Kong, which is a pure vegetarian. The food was really nice and we look forward to visiting again.

One of the best hotel at reasonable prices. Centrally located, neat and clean rooms though not very big. Restaurant and food both are very good. Staffs are helpful and cooperative. Anyone can take the locational advantage to move other places. Metro is nearby.

Good hotel, nice ambience, amicable staff, great location. Food quality average.

Dinner was horrible in the buffet....stale fish. Also, their local taxi prices are atrocious. It us cheaper to hire an outside cab for local sightseeing.

It has good service. The food is a bit costly, but the taste is good. Its complimentary breakfast is vast and tasty.

As far as pubs go, Beg Ben pub offers the most welcoming and sophisticated bar team I've yet encountered in Kolkata! Their whole team is warm and welcoming and offer a truly genuine kind of service. The old style English pub vibe is well delivered - but the character of the place is unique and individual. The bar team is world class with some unique and interesting cocktails experimenting with local fruits and ingredients as well as all the classics! Live music, nice crowds, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A special mention to Pempa whose hospitality is unmatched as well as Housin who is a world class mixologist and Soumit, thank you all for the most enjoyable pub experience I've had in India!

Very elegant hotel. Nice ambience. I like the place and suggest my friends to visit there.

Went for lunch, the buffet spread was very nice, but limited and not extravagant, the mains were typical but enjoyed the starters a lot. Desserts were just okay. The restaurant is inside the hotel and everyone walking in can see the people eating inside the restaurant..and some people staring was a little weird. But it is possible to sit outside in a garden.

Rooms provide all provisions as mentioned on the site. The staff is supportive and helpful. Well rated place and serves as per the four star hotel.

Ambience is nice..But food quality is not upto the mark as per its rating of a 4 star hotel.

Hotel stay is good but the first point of contact in the hotel i.e. Reception (especially lady staff) are rude and impolite. Seems the very meaning of courtesy is oblivious to them.

Banquet Hall is not upto the mark,Big Ben Bar is exclusive

It was a good experience overall, food was good. The only thing which lacks was the room service or i would say lack of communication
