The Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata Review

Had an excellent lunch at Aromas, Kenilworth Hotel. The food quality was good not the best I had. Ambience was cozy and the attitude of waiters were warm.

Verybnice place to stay. Vast choice of delicious morning breakfast.

Everything is good but a number of times the room air conditioner faulted

Clean and reasonably well furnished room let down by poor air conditioning and lack of soundproofing. Attentive floor staff were pleasant and kept room clean and tidy during my stay. Unfortunately the air-conditioning lacked any power so the room never truly cooled down which together with the lack of sound-proofing made it difficult to get a good nights sleep (think of the constant sound of car horns). Breakfast offering just ok, service a bit haphazard. Gym equipment well maintained. Airport transfer vehicle so horrendously dirty I got out the car dirtier than when i got in it! The Hotel is not an international Hotel but (probably due to the World Cricket 20's when i visited) it charged international prices. There is nothing bad about this Hotel, there is just nothing exceptional. Its a good domestic Hotel but its missing a trick if you cant get a good nights sleep!

We stay in Kenilworth hotel on regular basis. However this time (on 9th May 2019), my husband left his favorite and valued perfume at his room and got back to Bangladesh . Later he realized and called the hotel reception but they were unable to respond and informed they didn't find anything whereas he clearly remembered it was at the loo.
This is unacceptable from a hotel like Kenilworth. They should be more aware and put effort to hire reliable housekeeper.

Centrally located. The staff is very polite and helpful. The food is great but I found the rooms a bit smaller for the price.

Good though small room. Breakfast spread was good. Nothing great but overall good.

Location is 5 minutes walking to maidan metro station, ola Uber always available. Rooms are good but position of the TVs are wrong. Service is very good but it's not Excellent.

The huge green lawn is so special! The bar, the rooms, restaurants everything is so nice there!Food are sumptuous. Staffs are polite and well mannered. Indian, continental, Chinese, buffet everything available. Ambience is superb! I just love this place since 1985!

It is One of the leading hotel of Kolkata. One part of the Hotel is heritage property. Excellent food quality.

In the heart of City Kolkata, this hotel is really worth staying. It has great convention and conference centers as well.
