The Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata Review

My connection with this hotel goes back to 50 years. I have always loved the old Calcutta ambience which this hotel has kept intact. After a gap of a decade I went to Kenilworth for a buffet lunch with family to celebrate my birthday at their restaurant, Aroma. True it s name it lived upto to it s name. Since it was Independence Day many dishes were decorated in the tricolour which was interesting. Buffet spread was so huge that I over ate even with very small portions. From Salad, starters, main course right down to deserts, the journey was breathtaking. Fantastic service too. Would love to go again!

Food was not worth at all in banquet party on 9-5-2018

had arranged a candle light dinner for me and my GF !! had a wonderfull time ! Calm and quite....good service, excelent food !! Delicious desserts !!

Good old Kolkata comes alive in this vintage hotel. Situated in the central business district of Kolkata, presents a comfortable stay both for travellers and executives

Buffet spread is very limited.. quite over priced. Food quality/ taste is good.

Excellent ambience, decent food, friendly staff, awesome services are available lyke wifi,laundry etc.. 1 day of my stay made me to remember this hotel forever.. apart from this hotel rooms are costlier than nearby ones but aftr entering into the room i felt that it is worth payment.

I just checked out after staying here for 4 days. This is a very quaint and cosy hotel reminding me of many old world European hotels. The rooms are very contemporary and care has been taken to make sure all the usual amenities of a 5 star hotel are available. The service is prompt and courteous and the staff very pleasant, polite and well trained. I heartily recommend this place to my doctor colleagues and anyone if and when they visit Kolkata.

Visited the Banquet hall. Food was very tasty, service very good. Car parking has too less space. Can't tell much about restaurant - but for a family get together the place is very good. .

It is one of the finest hotels in Kolkata city. Hotel staff make all the difference. Just let them know what you want or what's troubling you, and they'll all jump into action to help you out and that too with a smile. They are just lovely people.

After 3 decades visited at cisce diamond jubilee expected more food portions and quality is also not up to the mark . Veg options for buffet dinner was not good .price 2 stiff and service staff need to care to customers with a lil more care .slow service. Better food options ...no customer delight

Classic hotel and rooms(5 star)
Restaurant is fabulous with tasty food.
Spa is also good, But no Male staff are available for male(cross gender Massage is not acceptable)(1 star). Last month I visited delhi and kerla, Cross gender massage is a crime there.
Garden is beautiful(5 star).

Kenilworth is a great place to stay. Our holiday experience got enhanced because we are staying in Kenilworth. Spotlessly clean room, linen, bath, bed and very good view. The breakfast spread is awesome. Staff - all of them - smile and serve you well. Don't miss the open air night dining. The food, ambience and service are great in the restaurant. When I come again next time, I will stay here.

The best hotel I ever been in Kolkata with affordable price and the services..
Staffs are like family member, as we stayed almost 1 month so we had great stay there ,food is delicious,but less choice not a lot Indian food..
But some continental food was good.
There service for long stay costumers was excellent service also..
All things was excellent, hopefully visit again..
