This building is amazing especially since R.E.M. Residential took over. Shpresa has been doing an incredible job with it. I can't believe what an amazing job they've done in such a short time. Really turned the place around.
New York Junior League is wonderful for having so many events that pack the house. Drop in some evening and you'll find that half of the upstairs is full of people edging in to hear an author speak (or to interrogate them).
Downstairs houses a fantastic selection of used books, though pretty heavy on social sciences and not so much on natural sciences. Be sure to drool over some of the large art books on the way down the stairs!
The staff always made me feel much comfortable, explained me everything, were gentle, caring and provided an excellent service. Highly recommended. Thank You!!
Went there for an event and it was fantastic. I might consider having an event there myself if the price is right.
